The only thing good about this visit is they got my order right. I get it that most Starbucks gets busy but if I am a customer and you don't want to make what I ask for then I have a problem with that. I asked for a traveler and 2 additional drinks to bring to the office I had an appointment for. The manager was taking my order and was basically telling me its too busy and they cannot make it and tried to brush me off. I said at this point I am here so I'll wait for it. She gave attitude about it having to do it. I was so upset but kept my composure. If a customer orders something, unless your are completely out of it, you need to make it period.

The expectation of what is in a Carmel ribbon crunch and does not mention me having to ask for whip cream

Was extremely disappointed in the level of service and the manner in which I was treated in Starbucks on Saturday. First instance I stood at counter for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me while they attended to other duties behind counter. I purchase a mocha Frappuccino which I did not like. I proceeded to rejoin line and purchase a Carmel Ribbon Frappuccino instead. I waited almost 15mins as other individuals orders were completed. Ask two times when my drink will be complete response my drink is up next. The order was never completed then a batista member point to a drink that look like a iced coffee saying that is what I ordered and if I wanted whip cream I needed to ask for it. And dismissed me all together. I was not very pleased with my service and left feeling disrespected as a starbucks customer

Stopped while on my way to Lancaster, PA. Saw this and loved it! The young lady was very nice and courteous.

Great customer service. The young lady was very nice and courteous. Love this message that they had posted and wanted to continue to spread the joy.

    Breakfast is so on.

Slow service. Long lines. If you're going into New York City or in a rush, avoid this Star Bucks.

Loved the new Pandan cloud matcha that was recently added to their specialty drinks, can't wait to come back and try the blueberry latte and their food items. First off: Service. I told the employee that this was my first time there, and they were more-than-happy to help me make a decision for my order. Patient and walked me through. Second: The Food. Let's get into it. 1) Cassava Latte ($7.50) - I was so pleasantly suprised at this drink; described as "(i)nspired by the Filipino dessert cake, made with condensed milk and coconut." The first sip, and I was intrigued! It was perfectly sweet, and the perfect mix of that coconut-dessert taste that cassava typically delivers! It tasted genuine, if that's possible. 2) Sinigang Croquette ($5.00) - This was interesting. Described as "Pork and Gabi (taro) shaped into a patty, rolled in Japanese bread crumbs, and deep fried. Served with our in-house sawsawan (dipping sauce)", it hit all the right notes. To be honest? $5.00 for 1 felt a bit steep. I'd pay $7.50 for two, though! 3) Boy Bawang Shio Pan ($7.50) - This was the most curious of all my purchases. Described as an "(i)n-house salt bread rolled in garlic and corn crumbs, filled with roasted garlic butter, topped with corn cheese whip. Inspired by the popular Filipino snack: Boy Bawang. THIS ITEM I SING ITS PRAISES. I am an absolute lover of the Boy Bawang Garlic Flavor Corn Snack --- much more pungent than anything Corn Nuts could ever offer. This Shio Pan absolutely delivered with its roasted garlic flavor! And as soon as you take a few bites ---- you get hit with that roasted garlic butter --- and let me tell you, they are not shy about their filling! Absolute master class --- but it's only for a limited run. You should definitely try! Third: Ambiance - The Cafe is quaint --- and has a seating area that could maybe fit between 18-24 people? It's just along the side of the business, but I managed to get a table for myself. Ayala, you did not disappoint! Can't wait to try your Sisig Flatbread for the next round!

There is almost always music playing and I really appreciate them taking orders over the phone and online. They also have this cool complimentary option of personalizing your cup with a black & white photo of you if you ask. I've also had the turmeric latte and the avocado toast which are worth getting again. The toast was fresh and flavorful. They have an enclosed booth that looks like it seats 4. Great for a little open privacy. The couches are quite comfortable as well. They have punch cards which is good, but I'm terrible with remembering so it would be great if they went digital with rewards. Maybe 1 point per visit or 1 point per $1 with tiered rewards. It's the only coffee shop I go to in the area that doesn't have digital rewards. Would love to see more vegan options on the menu, maybe a cinnamon roll lol. Con is they open late for a cafe. It's cozy, small, has warm décor, friendly staff, just enough seating, and the music overhead was chef's kiss. And bonus: it's a Black-owned business, which I will always support. We ordered a small iced coffee with oat milk and sugar, an iced chai latte, the grilled cheese with arugula, and the egg platter. Everything was pretty good -- I wasn't blown away, but it was solid and seasoned well. I really wanted to try the French toast because I've heard so many good things, but they told me it would be a 30-minute wait. Our food ended up taking about 20 minutes anyway, so honestly, I probably should've just held on and waited for it. Next time! Prices are what you'd expect for a coffee shop in the suburbs of West Orange. We lucked out with a parking spot right in front, but parking in that area can definitely be tricky. They also sell Harper's Café merch -- t-shirts, sweatshirts, and quarter zips. I'm definitely going back to try the French toast and the pancakes because I saw several people ordering them, so they must be worth it. This is a great place to hang out, read a book, get some work done, chat with a friend, or vibe solo. Harper's Café gives you all the good feels, and I'll absolutely be returning. One note: the menu is limited, and not everything you see online may be available that day -- just something to keep in mind.

My most consistent go-to is the Matcha Latte with Rosewater Simple Syrup. Sometimes you can actually taste the rose and it complements the matcha nicely. The salad is quite filling and fresh. Actually all of their food is fresh. I like the falafel bowl although it can be a little dry. I typically drizzle olive oil on it.
