The captain and I were about to order the eggnog drinks, but the barista, Dejanay, instead let us sample it because it has apparently been pretty disliked. She was totally right. Dejanay and Tayelor made us their favorite holiday drinks instead which were amazing. Peppermint white chocolate and iced sugar cookie. Dejanay and Tayelor are the best Starbucks barista's I've ever encountered. Concourse C is lucky to have them. read more

I got in line at 3:08pm to order my husband and I a coffee. There were two men in front of me. As I waited a woman on her phone in a sweatshirt and a couple (man in a plaid blazer and a woman with dark hair and a black long coat) got behind her. I felt the woman directly behind me was standing a little too closely to me so I stepped from in front of her and directly behind the man ordering, giving enough space for him to exit when he was done. When the cashier called the next guest I stepped up as did the woman behind me on the phone. I told her I was in line and she said oh I'm sorry. The barista proceeded to tell me to go to the back of the line. I said I've been in this line and she argued with me. What was clearly a miss understating resulted in me asking the people behind me if they saw me in line and the barista kicking me out of the store. She told the other cashier not to serve me. When I tried to take a photo of her name tag she turned her body so I couldn't see her name. I believe it was Cassidy or Chassidy. I have filed a claim with Starbucks corporate. I hope they have cameras and watch the footage. I have been in sales for 20 years. If someone with that type of attitude and complete disregard for human decency worked for me, they would be gone. It's my personal opinion that I'm not the only one who has had issues at this location based on her attitude. I understand people have bad days and go through things but this was blatant disrespect without caring. read more

I was so happy to see a familiar friend open sonearly for my flight home. The baristas that were working at 5am were so friendly and worked quickly to get each of us waiting in line taken care of quickly and getting us caffinated for our trips. Between landing in Saint Louis International Airport and motoring Interstate 70 into downtown Saint Louis for a week long vacation, this Starbucks came in very handy. If it weren't for this Starbucks, it would of been a very very boring two hours of waiting for my dad's flight to come in. This Starbuck's which is co-listed with the Concourse E Starbuck's downstairs is the ONLY business at presecurity. In other words, once the airline passenger such as yours truly enters baggage claim then gets their luggage, this Starbucks is the only place to hang out in the airport. When I hung out here with my brother, I was about to start off a week long adventure in the Lou. So, there was a real positive vibe to the Terminal 2 pre-security Starbuck's. The fact that the drinks cost identical to local locations did not hurt that vibe. My brother and I managed to get a couple of the few chairs by a long table in what appeared to be the one seating area. If we carried our cups of coffee outside we'd take in an oversized airplane model hanging from the sun lit ceiling near security. If we were drinking it during a tornado, we'd only have to walk a few feet to the restroom which doubles up as a tornado shelter. Due to the fact that this is the first Saint Louis business that I have patronized in over twenty years, this Starbucks Barista gave me my first impression of Saint Louisans. Fortunately, she was a pleasant hard working woman that passed over charging me for a refill. In our case, this Starbucks served a very good purpose. During the gap that my brother and my flight and my dad's arrived, perking up with Starbucks in our cups made two hours of time fly by faster than our Southwest flight from Las Vegas to Saint Louis. read more

Starbucks is a vital stop after getting through security checkpoint A and being treated rudely by TSA at the St. Louis Airport. Minimal line at this kiosk across from gate A4. Workers were fast, efficient, and respectful. The coffee cake was warmed up before given to me. No tables or chairs allowed still so I am back to an empty airport gate section to restore my energy levels before the flight to DTW. read more

Located inside Terminal 1 just past the security checkout and next door to Dunkin Donuts. Prepare for long lines but it moves pretty quickly if you know what you want and don't hold the line up ordering a tall cappuccino with a splash of soy milk, slightly shaken not stirred over a few cubes of ice in a grande up, half pump of hazelnut with a fan of whipped cream on top!!!!! Had a very nice experience here this morning. We were pleasantly surprised they were open at 5 am. Great coffee, nice breakfast sandwich of egg white and turkey bacon on an English muffin. I have been to a handful of airport Starbucks, and I understand why they overstaff some of them for when the rush hits, but this was a slower day and while a hive can work well with tons of bees buzzin' around these folks need to work on their system. It wasn't busy but the 7 or so folks working behind this tiny hub of a Starbucks were all younger and super chatty with each other where it made it difficult for folks to know if their orders were being placed or not, or correctly. I don't speak Starbucks and asked for a Large, but got a medium and felt like the staff while efficient was being short with the clientele in favor of side conversations and jokes with other employees. I totally understand liking the people you work with but when it's at the expense of customer service, you should probably keep it to the break room. read more

Just learned this is a training location, now the trainer taught the barista how to make the matcha green tea ice latte. I'm glad they didn't dump the matcha powder at the bottom, I just wish it wasn't a sweetener that was added which maybe it's normal but I always mention no sugar just coconut milk. The staff was polite, drinks were made fairly efficiently, and there's a counter area off to the side to wait for your drinks that is out of the way of people trying to order and pay. If you're looking for a place to sit and work, this isn't it. It's really just a walk-up stand kind of set up. There are rocking chairs down the hall if you want to sit and watch the tarmac, but if you need a place to hunker down I'd suggest hitting up the bar next door. read more

My daughter and I ordered 2 coffees and 2 muffins, they didn't ask if we wanted it warmed and I didn't think to ask until after it was handed to us. So we asked nicely if they could warm it for us. It started out with the line being extremely long which was fine considering it is early morning (not to mention I love Starbucks). But then after standing in line you get to the register and they then decide to tell you their systems have been down **since the day before** and are only accepting certain forms of payment. Many customers who rely on their Starbucks mobile app were turned away. This is probably my favorite Starbucks. I travel quite frequently and make it a habit to stop here on my way to baggage claim since I have time to kill; the St Louis airport takes 30-40 minutes for your bags to come out. That's another story though. Anyway, what I like about this Starbucks is how friendly the staff is. There's always the same two girls working here and they are always happy and cheerful. And, they provide great service. Plus, they make an excellent quad tall cappuccino. I go here so often that they now remember what I order. The girls always act like I'm crazy for ordering a quad. I guess people rarely order 4 shots of espresso at a time! BTW, this review is in reference to the Starbucks right outside of Baggage Claim. The other Starbucks in the terminals are lame and the staff in those Starbucks acts like you've asked the world of them to simply take your order, much less do something like make your drink! read more

I asked for light ice in my drink - after I watched the staffer dump ice into my drink, I tried to give a friendly reminder.
