Located in Tacoma Place this coffee shop is busy most of the time. Parking in their area is a bit chaotic and people come and go to grab their fuel for their body. Came here coz bandit wanted to have some coffee before hitting the road for a three hour drive. Of course I got mine too and yeap, it has coffee (took my pill before started my sip. Staff ain't the friendliest. Ambiance is pretty cool. And t'was clean inside too. Took them at least 15-20mins before they hand us our order. It's a bit long for me but all good. They did a good job in making our coffee though. Would love to grab my next Tacoma Starbucks here as this is one of the closest location in my Tita's place. Mahalo for reading and happy juandering fellow yeeps!

What a great place to enjoy a beverage or snack. Our power was out at home and my daughter had homework to finish, so we decided to check this Starbucks out. It is a very neat little place. I loved the seating arrangements and atmosphere. They had good relaxing and joyous music, which we enjoyed a lot. Our beverages were delicious. I got my usual white chocolate mocha, no whip. There is outlets to connect your electronics if needed. Everyone was pretty friendly and polite. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their time with friends or family and doing things on their laptops or tablets. We chose this location because of their closing time. The website showed they were opened 24hrs however we were told they would be closing at 11pm. That's pretty much the only issue I had even thought it wasn't their fault but the website. Overall we were happy to be in a neat place, she finished her homework, we enjoyed our beverage and glad we went to this location. We will definitely be visiting again. FYI- our power was back up when we got home :)

Cannot believe I've never yelped my favorite Star location!! Tonight I was here twice. My first stop was for a hot Americano & orange cranberry scone then added a reduced fat turkey bacon breakfast sandwich for the morning. The customer service was outstandingly & to top my night was the car ahead paid for my order. Thank you Thank you, Mucho Gracias, Domo Arigato & Danke ... Sorry car behind me couldn't afford your order.. On a good note, I came back around for a Steak egg & tomatillo sauce wrap another breakfast sandwich & Americano.. And paid it forward to the car behind me!!!!!!!!!!! What a great surprise! feeling & thing to do!!!

The baristas are so sweet, the one working the drive thru was probably the friendliest barista I've ever met.

It always seems like some new discovery awaits for this category here and it's always delicious. Coffee drinks remain amazing, creative and unique especially for the area that doesn't delve into the specifics that this place does. Still five stars all of the way and I don't see that changing anytime soon!

I used to visit the Sacramento location, so it was a nice surprise seeing one nearby. My review is mainly for the desserts since I still haven't tried the coffee yet (though I'm sure it's probably great too since they're known for their Yemeni coffee). The menu seems very similar to the Sacramento location, but I'm giving 4 stars because they don't carry the one dessert I've been seriously craving: Turkish delight! The Sacramento location has it and I was definitely hoping to grab some here but I didn't see any on display or on the menu :( The milk cakes were thankfully just as good and super consistent between locations. We ordered the pistachio milk cake and the caramel milk cake (different pricing, depending on flavor probably). Both were incredibly moist, flavorful, and just really delicious. If you've never tried the milk cakes here, I definitely recommend them. They taste high quality, for sure, and a perfect treat for a sweet tooth. I had my husband try one for the first time since he likes caramel, and he immediately said it tasted so fancy he felt like he should be sticking his pinky out while eating it lol. I told him it *is* around $10 a slice, after all. We stopped by on a weekday afternoon and the parking lot was busy and the café itself was packed, so it definitely seems like a popular spot. They also have a points rewards program you can sign up for with just your phone number. I'll definitely be back for sweets again.

Recco's: Pour over, Nitro cold brew if they have that on tap, and baked goods by Three Hearts Bakery Cons: Service is a hit or miss at this new location. Being on STW (that is short for South Tacoma Way), I think this location has huge potential for attracting non-locals compared to their 6th Ave location (already established local reputation with regulars), hopefully they staff up to create more flexibility because a lot of times they're backed up on orders especially early mornings due to several crowd rolling in from Howdy Bagel across the street, they're also a bit stoic when it comes to simple greetings. Cortado is one of my favorite coffee drinks but I will not order from this location, today I ordered it with almond milk (which, for cortado of less than 4oz, the portion of milk is not very much but I paid a kidney for it, its my fault) it was $6.07. The barista did provide a tip for next time if I'm looking for a more fuller 8oz drink, I can go for a Flat White. I visit both of their locations fairly regularly and do appreciate this STW location that is closer to me. Parking is on street and has never given any problem finding a spot nearby. Great offerings of seasonal coffee drinks, and I enjoy coming here very early before the crowd hits.

They make their syrups inhouse, and you can tell, even a basic caramel latte tasted like the most delicate, handcrafted drink. They have fun seasonals, they're a hit or miss obviously based on your preferences, but I love them all so far. My go to drink pairing is a cardamon and ginger latte. The inside is SO HOMEY. It's rare to find coffee shops that haven't succumbed to the hospital white aesthetic, so this is so refreshing on the head. It is the ideal shop to study in. The cups and plates are my favorite thing about this place. The cups are handmade and just so stinking cute. The baristas are so welcoming every single time I come in, they look like they just love their job and love to chat with the customers. The outside of the shop is a mint green which really throws me off because the inside is so cute. The parking situation is a little limited as well, there's a few parking spots near the shop and the rest is street parking. They have a large selection of pastries and some food but know that if you come in the afternoon there probably won't be much left, they go pretty quick. Amazing shop, it's a different aesthetic than what most shops are but it feeds that "homey" craving that I have when I want to study at a coffee shop.

The wait is a little long and I feel that is because they take their time with each cup they make. Seating is scarce so if you plan to enjoy your cup inside, do come in when they open because it fills up really quick. My only recommendation if they look into the reviews is to remove the center table and put 2 more 2 seater tables if it still allows within capacity. Never change. Your coffee is great.
