I have to laugh at all of the negative reviews by the self important, self entitled suburbanites complaining about how the baristas cannot get their "special order" or "custom" coffee creations juuuust right. There's a drink menu on the wall, and it's an extensive one. If you can't find something you like on it then yes, you should just stay home and play with your own mini espresso machine that cost you $450 on line (with free delivery) rather than subject the minimum wage employees to your self righteous (and conveniently anonymous) on-line derision. * No awning, so ordering coffee doubled as standing in a rainstorm * Long silence from the order taker while I got soaked * Enough time to wonder if this was a drive-through or a weather-resistance test I had one of the most disrespectful drive-through experiences I've ever had at Starbucks, and it made it very clear why this location needs serious management intervention. First issue: there is no awning at the drive-through speaker. I was literally standing there getting soaked in the rain while placing my order. On top of that, the order taker took an unusually long time to respond, leaving me standing there getting drenched with no acknowledgment. Once I finished ordering, I drove up to the window quickly because, again, there is no cover from the rain. They/them employee glanced at me briefly, clearly saw me, and I started to explain why I pulled up quickly and suggested they should install an awning for customers. Instead of saying "one moment" or handling the interaction professionally, they looked at us, then completely ignored us and began taking another customer's order while we were already at the window ready to pay. That is incredibly rude. Ignoring a customer at the window to take another order is unacceptable. It gave the clear impression that the employee was offended that we drove up promptly -- which is not the customer's problem. Despite the attitude, I calmly asked if they could remake a drink that had been made incorrectly at another Starbucks. The employee stared at us in silence, said nothing, and made the situation awkward and confusing. I placed the drink on the drive-through counter, at which point they snapped and said they "don't accept drinks at the drive-through," again with attitude. When I addressed the repeated rudeness, the employee slammed the drive-through window shut in my face. At that point I honked and asked for a manager. I explained that this behavior is completely unacceptable and that an employee who treats customers this way should not be working the window. We drove off having wasted time, dealt with hostility, and received zero customer service. Between the lack of basic infrastructure (like an awning), poor communication, and outright disrespect, this Starbucks is not worth stopping at. Management needs to take this seriously before more customers are treated the same way. read more

Starbucks is a mixed bag for me. I am from Seattle (where it all started) so you would think I would love it and be biased in its favor but I am not. I am glad they put the "CORTADO" on the menu. A little bit of steamed milk with the expresso is a low calorie win. Iced americano is a favorite of mine but their version is bitter, not smooth, and I don't like their pebble ice (it melts too quickly). Lately I have ordered the cold brew and that beats their Americano. This location is a bit awkward to enter. When they are busy the drive thru blocks the parking lot entrance and is an accident waiting to happen. Inside it has a decent size sitting area but all the tables are too close together and it is not a great spot to visit (too loud and not intimate). Being a chain they are consistent though and you know what you get here. read more

Came to this Starbucks tonight about 30 minutes before closing. Henry took my order for drive thru and also made my drink. Ordered at drive-up and the young man at the window was nice, but the simple nonfat milk, unsweetened, decaf expresso roast tasted like hot milk water with foam. I don't know if whoever made the drink forgot the expresso shot but there was just a very, very, faint hint of coffee, and it wasn't even a large size. read more

The employee at this location( angie or angela) she said she was the manger is extremely rude, I picked up beverages for my staff meeting asked for 1 drink to be made a different way and every time I would speak she would interrupt me then kept asking is that everything. I replied back to her I'm trying to give you my order but you're interrupting me. I got to the window to pay and my drink wasn't made correctly, when i mentioned she was upset, went to fix my drink and spilled it everywhere and then placed her bare hands on my lid when she gave it back. I asked her about the policy with bare hands and she just kept repeating we wash our hands. The gentleman that worked with her looked so embarrassed by her behavior. I asked if there was a manager and she stated her name and said she was the manager. I frequent starbucks at least twice a day but will definitely choose the safeway locations or a local company. She was extremely rude and I would appreciate a reply from someone other than her. read more

The staff make this location successful. Even when they appear to be understaffed, they are quick and responsive to each order.

I tend to steer clear of writing a review until after I have been a repeated guest with horrible service. This is one of those times. There is approximately four Starbucks all within a 2-3 mile radius of each other. I have no idea what is wrong with this location but it has drastically gone down hill the past 1-2 years. -Orders are never prepared properly per the APP order. -Coffee order is never stirred so you have this lump of raw sugar on the bottom and the cream is sitting on the bottom -Today my Americano was cold and unstirred. Had to reheat in the microwave. -Croissant was not warmed. Asked for butter and I am handed ONE butter pat. I began laughing and said "ONE butter? gee thanks guys". I am so fed up with this place and I spend ALOT of money each week at Starbucks. Advice: Get your act together. Train your staff. Work on your service and attention to detail. I will be going to the other three locations from now on. read more

This morning I used the mobile order and came in to this starbucks and this crew was amazing! 3 different people greeted me, one of them asked how my morning was and another one complimented my outfit. Our favorite Starbucks is located on Regents across from the Post Office in University Place. We pass two others to get here. The Baristas are phenomenal, fast, friendly, knowledgeable & just so cool. They know their regulars by name & remember their orders. The atmosphere is cozy & friendly. This is a pretty typical Starbucks. Reliable coffee and food; very friendly staff. The outdoor seating area here is more extensive than most Starbucks, and is pleasant during our all-too-brief summers. The only reason I give this location 3 stars instead of 4 is that the drive-thru is a funky design that people can enter from two directions. It tends to back up really quickly with more than three cars in it. read more
