This location is located inside the Westin, as a guest I went down for the family with written orders for two family members. When I was reading the orders to the barista, they did not write if they wanted to iced or hot, so when the older gentleman asked me I did not know & when I had to call them he would roll his eyes and he was clearly annoyed. Mind you the call took two seconds. I had to call him out for his lack of customer service when there was only one other couple waiting behind me. Love this Starbucks!! It's my neighborhood location! You have the little beach from the hotel and beautiful bay views. The staff is amazing and welcoming! The coffee is always great! I mobile ordered about 10 minutes before I arrived because it said my order would be ready in 4-6 mins. I arrive & 3 baristas are standing around talking and had already pulled my sticker to make my drink but hadn't began making my order. Pretty annoying considering I was leaving for the airport and assume they had ample time based on the app & three employees standing around chatting. Best Starbucks in Tampa! The manager here, Dena, is absolutely amazing! Very cheery, always willing to assist staff as well. They take great pride in their Starbucks and it shows! Very relaxing atmosphere by the way... there is sand and lounge chairs right outside the front door. Order your favorite Starbucks drink and go sit out by the bay. Tip: The Starbucks is located in the Westin hotel. If you are driving westbound on Highway 60 toward Clearwater, you can easily turn in and out of the hotel. But if you are driving eastbound toward Tampa, it's a little more tricky. When driving eastbound, turn left at the light before the Westin (Rocky Point Drive) and then take a right at the three way stop. You can then turn right into the Westin -drive past the valet - and turn left into the parking lot. When leaving, make sure to go back the way you came and turn left at the Rocky Point light to continue on your eastbound track. Why would someone do a review on a Starbucks ?? They are everywhere ... Unless you are near west shore of Tampa. This is the only one around and it is tricky to find This Starbucks is INSIDE OF THE WESTIN lobby. Pull into parking lot and around to the right side. It has the typical green Umbrellas outside to mark the treasure. They do have their own parking. This SB is one of those special locations that does not except your free drinks that you have earned. They do accept payment via the SB app though They do have a nice assortment of sandwiches, snacks, merch etc. My Venti iced upside caramel macchiato was made perfectly. I bought some low-cal jalapeño popcorn that is insane goody good good. Staff was very nice and the location is clean. read more

Great little Starbucks location! It's inside the Westin, but they have their own entrance and parking spots. It's right off Courtney Campbell Causeway, making it very easy to get there if you are headed West, but kind of a hassle if you're headed East. Every time I go in, a staff member immediately greets me. They're always friendly and quick. I don't usually tip at Starbucks, but I usually end up deciding to tip them here since they're so nice. read more

Guess what? There's a good Starbucks at Rocky Point! Who knew? It's convenient to access from the Causeway, just a right turn and you're in. As typical with all Starbucks, it's kept clean. They have full service, so you can order a breakfast (I could live off the sausage egg and cheese) or have them heat up a lunch sandwich. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. I only wish they had a larger dinning area. There's only about 3-4 small tables. I kind of want to give this Starbucks three stars, but it's thanksgiving... I'll give an extra one, and here's why... The location is great. I happen to live in the area, and there isn't much here at all - so they have the monopoly. The staff is very friendly, and they usually are pretty well staffed. It's inside the Westin hotel. For me, parking isn't an issue because I usually walk there, but there are only three or four parking spots. I have occasionally stopped there on my way to work and asked the valet guys if I could just pull up. They are very generous and allow for that. The downside - at times they can be a little slow. Since they're in a hotel, they'll often get large orders, and I've been behind that large order. No fault of theirs, but beware! Also, at times they don't adhere to their hours, and they don't have the "typical" Starbucks hours. All things considered, this is a great Starbucks for people on rocky point! read more

I am not a fan of Starbucks except for a few favorites so I only go when there is nothing else around. That is the case with this location inside the Westin hotel. The staff is always friendly and makes a really nice breakfast sandwich. The coffee here seems less burnt than other Starbuck locations, so I give them some high marks for that. I also like the early hours that they open (6 am). When you have no real choice, this place is worth going to. As for the small location, there is nothing wrong with going outside underneath the umbrellas and taking in the fresh air at one of the many hotel provided tables, you just need to head left towards the beach and you will see them. They also accept American Express which many places in Tama do not. read more

Your typical starbucks, and now they know my face and name because I go in there so much! They are friendly and super-accommodating to my small demands. The only problem is sometimes they charge me different prices for the same drink? Starbucks in general is over-priced, not sure how a venti-iced coffee can really be over $3, but at this point I'm addicted, c'est la vie. I preferred those few times when they charged me $2.40. I'm planning on registering a gift card and being one of those lucky gold card members so I can get free refills :) That might make the moola spent a little more worth it. read more

I really like my local starbucks. My drink is always made perfect and when there is a line, its pretty fast. The people who work there are also super friendly. I just really don't like the parking lot. When there is a crazy long line the line goes out in to traffic.. so that part really sucks. Make sure you don't park by the front door because you may be stuck in your parking spot if a line forms! read more
