30 minutes for a coffee. They need to balance time spent in drive thru, mobile, and counter orders. They didn't go slow, but I wouldn't call their movements fast compared to other Starbucks. And they have time to chat, so they're definitely not that stressed. read more

I got the oat milk brown sugar latte and my husband brought it home. When I took it out of the drink carrier I noticed it was super light! He did not touch it or drink any, and it was literally filled halfway and the rest was air and foam!! He gave a tip too not knowing the barista only filled it halfway! Super disappointed and disgusted that they can charge that much for a grande and give you a tall version worth of coffee!! Never again, shame since they did get it to taste really good. read more

This is a busy location but the staff is amazing. Every time I am in town I place my order through the app and every time two servers in particular always welcome me by shouting my name as I enter the door. Not here year round but when I am in town I stop by daily. I order a very simple drink and when out of town, 40% of the time it's wrong but never at this location. They always get it right and never over steep their tea! I look forward to walking in here cause the staff is friendly and my order is always right. If you are in from out of town and especially in the summer, yes this location does get busy. But the staff is great and definitely working hard non-stop. I mobile order my drink 20 minutes early in the summer time. 90% of the time it's ready when I get there. The 10% of the time it's not ready, the are slammed more than normal. This is a tourist town in the summer, just calculate for it, if it's a busy season. In the winter I don't need as much lead time when placing my order. Hope this helps people. read more

Beautiful brand new Starbucks with drive-thru! Has a welcoming gas fireplace and large windows. Staff were friendly! It is a fairly loud inside because of the concrete floors and music so bring headphones if you will need to concentrate. Since the other Starbucks in TC are the kind inside supermarkets, this freestanding, real Starbucks is a refreshing addition to TC!!!! read more

The staff working at this location are liars. After waiting 20 minutes I asked them if they had my order. I gave them my name and drink order. they said they did and they were just backed up. another 15 minutes later they whispered to each other and then finally out came my drink. without a ticket. It was not made correctly. They then explained they didn't have my ticket which is why it was wrong. as if that was a good explanation. First time trying their breakfast items. The coffee was good, as was the service. They were really friendly and helpful. Also ordered a sausage, egg and cheddar sandwich, and a chicken maple butter sandwich. What's so shocking to me, is that a business, with $36 billion in annual sales, puts out breakfast sandwiches with tough, doughy rolls. People who wait at the store are suckers. They won't even acknowledge you. The service at this Starbucks is amazingly slow! I've never had service at any drive-thru this slow. One car in front of us and it took about 10 minutes to finally get a green tea and cake pop! Holy #%^! It looked like there were 4 or 5 purple-haired, 13- year-olds all rushing around doing absolutely nothing. Can't wait until the West Side drive-thru is open. I was on vacation this summer in Traverse City for about a month. During this time I frequently visited the Starbucks on E. Front St. I know the store front is relatively new and things can be challenging during the pandemic however, I was disappointed on a regular basis with how abrupt and unfriendly the staff were. The final straw was when I went to retrieve my mobile order, which I could see behind the counter. "Camellia", I believe was the barista, seemed upset that I asked for my coffee so, rather than slide it directly under the plastic shield where I was standing...which was at the end of the counter in the mobile area, she slid it farther down the counter so I had to around a corner to get it. I hope that the corporate office pays attention to these reviews and will provide additional training for these employees. Customer service is consistently lacking! read more

Love Starbucks, from Seattle so it's a thing. Drinks were served fast and tasted great. Though was disappointed when I walked in with a backpack as did my husband, clearly ready to study for an hour, seeing there was a group sitting at a table and two tables open, only to find out that all indoor seating is closed, which can only be seen once you're standing over the table due to signs being flat on the table. Also, the barista was short with us from the get, didn't warm up our muffin, and definitely could've done the courtesy of mentioning there was no seating prior to buying our drinks. Two people walked in after us with back packs and experienced the same situation. No indoor seating is understandable in times like these, but please provide more clarity, flip the chairs up or something. read more
