This Starbucks (that's located in the Marine Corps base - twentynine palms), you're great & I like you! It's located inside the PX by the entrance & the check-out lanes. I'm here from Oceanside, CA visiting my husband (he's here going through a course). Stopped in the PX to look around & saw they had a Starbucks! (Cue the heavenly bell chimes). One barista took my order then I paid with another - they were pretty friendly (THANK YOU - I love Starbucks locations with friendly employees), the items were stocked, the place was clean, & my drink came out at a great time! I just want to say that I appreciate that there was more than 2 employees working - 1-2 were out on the floor cleaning & stocking, while the others were taking orders & making drinks. I LOVE THAT. Keep doing what y'all are doing! I hope that if I ever come back up here, it's the same as what i'm describing ^ :)

I love this place, but this was a buzz kill this AM ): this place is great most of the time, but my coworker brought back a drink this AM and didn't realize it until she gave it to me...super chunky almondmilk. So bad I'm afraid to even take a sip. I drink almondmilk every day and it's not supposed to look like this. Update: THEY REPLACED IT! No chunks! Life is good again

Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino! I had already taken a few sips of mine.

I've only come here a couple of times but I have always been pleased with my order and the service. The employees are always very friendly and work quickly despite how busy it can get. I remember this one employee in particular. I was one of the only customers inside and I was debating whether I wanted to try the Green Tea Frappe because I wasn't sure if I'd like it. I asked the employee if she'd ever tried it and she gave me her honest opinion. I ordered it and I guess she noticed that I was still hesitant because she told me that she'd be happy to make me something else for free if I didn't like it. I thought that was nice of her to offer, even if she only said it to get me out of her hair haha.

My wife never leaves unhappy. But if she does she just asks for a remake which they always do (only once) with a smile.

Great atmosphere and definitely cleaner than the usual Starbucks coffee house. I love the feta-spinach wraps.

Like almost every starbucks, staff is friendly. Drinks are okay as far as starbucks drink go. Only downside, no order on the go!!

Check their socials, as they're pretty good in updating the days/times. We ordered: +a slice of banana bread - this was wet and soggy, so not sure how this is even available for sale +a slice of carrot cake - this was extremely dense and decadent, and good for any carrot cake lover +an oatmeal cookie - large and had a nice crisp/chewy texture +a chive scone - super dried out and had absolutely no flavor +a hibiscus drink - super weird beverage; not sure if it was mixed with something, but it was not enjoyable +and, a milk tea - this milk tea was not prepared well; contained some pearls I was curious about their sandwiches and their pizzas, but the latter is only sold as a whole, and not by the slice. All in all, we felt that the items were misses; not worth waiting it out unless you are spending a few days in the area or are a local. Note that there's usually a line, moving along at a slow and steady pace, and they allow only 1 party in at a time. There is no seating inside, as this is strictly carry-out only. I honestly don't think I've made a single desert trip without stopping in at least once. Part of it is the location. Acme 62 and Hoof + Horn are both literally right next door and both great for gifts that say "I went to the desert" without going full souvenir shop. Pioneer Crossing Antiques is also nearby and was sadly closed this Wednesday, but I normally stop in whenever it's open. The proprietors are awesome and I always find something unique to take home. Food-wise, the lox bagel was a standout. Great ratio of cream cheese, capers, dill, thin-shaved red onion, plus a little side salad of arugula and radish that actually tasted fresh instead of feeling like decoration. The yogurt parfait was small but mighty, layered with berries and granola and substantial enough to feel like breakfast. Easy seating, dog friendly, and plenty of sandwiches and salads if you're not in a bagel mood. Tasty, fresh, quick, and just enough "we did something" energy before heading back to the Airbnb to relax and beat the heat.

ANYWAY. We have been here a couple of times - will usually stop by here when we're in Joshua Tree. On Saturdays, there is a Farmer's Market in the parking lot, so it gets pretty crowded. This last time we went, I got an iced strawberry matcha, and my partner got the chai iced tea. Both with almond milk. They still charge a surplus for non-dairy, which feels so 2022. But anyway. The drinks were delicious. We also got an almond croissant, which doesn't look like much, but it was AMAZING. And then the quiches. Oh, the quiches. I had such high hopes for these, especially since we were primed with refreshing drinks and a tasty pastry. These quiches are muffin-sized, perfect for a light meal or a heavier snack, and they look super cute. They will heat them up for you. When we went, they had bacon cheddar and spinach feta. We got one of each. My friends, these were so disappointing. First, no flavor. We asked for ketchup or hot sauce to give it a bit of acid, because it was basically egg all the way through. Solid wall of egg that tasted like the powdered egg you get at one of those corporate conference catered breakfasts. I had one tiny sliver of bacon in mine, and my partner was playing hide and seek with the spinach, and the spinach was winning. The crust itself was rubbery and chewy, not flaky like I would expect a quiche to be. I mean, it was palatable and not super expensive. I'm just not sure if you're selling food, you want it to just be "palatable". Last time, we got a savory veggie pie, and that was pretty good, so they DO have good savory foods. I think the quiches were just a huge miss this time. Bathroom is clean and single-stalled. Parking is easy in the lot, and on Farmer's Market days, I mean, c'mon, it's Joshua Tree, it's not like there isn't space on the streets too.
