Generally, Starbucks is slow, but this is the absolute slowest Starbucks I've ever been to drive-through anyway. Which is a 99% of their business. This might be my fourth and last time through there were only four cars in front of me 15 minutes. And after waiting all that time I got my coffee drink. Long drive from Redding , further to go still. I decided to stop for a coffee (and the kids wanted drinks) but first I needed to use the restroom. I asked the attendant the code and she said I needed to buy something first . I told her I would buy a coffee, but I would like to use the restroom first. She refused to give the code until I paid, and was willing to create a line behind me until I did. Embarrassed, I purchased the coffee and she finally provided the code, but I told my family all I was willing to spend here was the $3 for a coffee black. I was not going to shell out another penny for this terrible service. We hit another coffee shop with immensely better service. Word to the wise- if a customer stands.in front of you saying they will PAY for a coffee, have the decency to allow them to use the restroom. read more

My family and I were on our way to UC Davis. I was getting sleepy during the drive and decided to stop for some Starbucks. Before grabbing coffee, I needed to use the restroom. The gentleman at the window told me the restroom door was broken and not accessible. However, just a few minutes later while I was navigating to another Starbucks, I saw someone go inside that same restroom. Seriously? That was incredibly frustrating. I had the worst experience coming here the other day. I came in to get a Venti white chocolate mocha, iced (my favorite!!) but was greeted with horrible customer service. This employee named Eli just seemed completely annoyed and exasperated by my presence. She took my order with extreme attitude and just kinda left an overall icky feeling after the interaction I had. I frequent this location often, as it's on my route to work and have had issues like this in the past with this person but today it just really set it off. Most of the staff is generally SO nice and helpful, and I hate to leave a review like this on their location because I would prefer the good to outweigh the bad, but honestly it's too much. This location needs to get a serious redo on training when it comes to customer interactions and friendly service. I know the customer is not always right, maybe they were just having a bad day, but jeez yall i couldn't take it anymore. read more

I've come to this Starbucks a few times to get (usually) a mobile order. Each time, that drive thru line is pretty long. So, I just end up walking up to the window to pick up the order. The staff are usually pretty friendly, even with all of the mobile and drive their orders. My orders are always accurate and my food is always at the right temperature, especially warmed sandwiches. I've never been inside this location, so, I can't speak on that. I stopped by today to pick up my Birthday reward: Venti Brown Sugar Oatmilk Espresso. The drive thru line was almost to the back of Chevron. I was so thankful for ordering my drink on the Starbucks app! I waited maybe no more than 2-3 minutes for my order. There was 2 other women before me waiting for their order. I'll be returning next time I need my Starbucks fix!! read more

A very strange and new (?) concept for Starbucks. It is essentially an oversized kiosk with a couple of other Starbucks just less than a half mile away. Perhaps the folks of Vacaville need coffee every 2000 feet of travel??? This location is primarily an off-the-highway drive-thru stop. And cars do line up, almost into the busy street. Although we decided to park there is no interior space for customers. You order at a window outside. But, there are two windows on opposite sides of the "building" without any indication where to order or pick-up. So this created a lot of confusion for those few of us walking up for service. Forget it if you want anything more than a drink. Not here, and the drink choices are less than usual as well. And be forewarned if you are parking there is a limited amount, I presume by design. Folks were parking in the adjacent gas station and walking over. Service was cordial but SLOW! It appeared they were overwhelmed by the drive-thru line. There's absolutely no outdoor seating, not even a bench. So you either drink in your car, or "drink and drive." I was also amused by the highly developed entry ramp (handicap accessible) to nowhere but the busy thoroughfare to cross. Is this intended to be strictly a drive-thru location or did city planning intervene? I doubt Starbucks did this expensive infrastructure on their own. We got the correct frappuccino order, so can complain there, but if you want a more typical experience I'd suggest driving down the street a bit, and check the alternative locations. read more

I ordered the new chicken and jalapeño wrap which was thrown in the bag and stuck to the paper. No napkins given and my hands were a mess. 5 STAR customer service at this Vacaville Starbucks location! Leaving El Dorado Hills for Vacaville, I hit up the EDH Town Center Starbucks to have my "fuel" for sipping on the 50 minute drive. Back into the car and looking forward to my extra hot Café Latte. Argh...(pirate talk;)) Awwwwful!!! Tasted like black, watery coffee. No frothy milk and definitely not extra hot! Whom ever made this needs to walk the plank! Ok...yes, I'm being a drama queen! But being early and half asleep and a long drive ahead of me.....I was so looking forward to my Starbucks! But alas, already on the freeway and headed west... so that's that! Arriving in Vacaville with heavy duty shopping ahead of me and still thinking about that Latte... I decided to call the Nut Tree Park Way Starbucks where I had just been the day before to have an afternoon pick me up. I remembered how nice and friendly the Starbucks employee, Beau, had been at the drive-through. As a matter of fact I even posted a photo of him on Yelp. After talking to Kayla and explaining the coffee purchase situation at the EDH Starbucks, and without me even asking, she said to drive on over and she would be more than happy to make me my extra hot, frothy, part half-and-half Latte :). WOW! That is top notch customer service! Thank you, Kayla, for making my day! And for the art work on my coffee cup (Photos included.) You can be assured this will be my go to Vacaville Starbucks location anytime I am in the area. And regarding my El Dorado Hills Town Center Starbucks experience... Had I gone back into the store I know they would have remade my Latte for me in a heart beat. Those employees are always fabulous. Who knows maybe I inadvertently picked up someone's order by mistake. It was very busy when I was there and all were moving fast. So a big shout out to them for always working so hard. Definitely, love this new location! So happy they opened up a Starbucks near my work! Plenty of parking for a small Starbucks! Love their large menu! & digital screen! The drive thru goes by quick! They open early as 5am! They're also next to the gas station which makes it convenient for travelers to get gas & also grab Starbucks on the go ;) This Starbucks is not a store so you have the option to walk up to the window or go through the drive thru. They also have a bathroom but it's locked. I also seen they have a seating patio to enjoy your Starbucks. So no seating area inside the building. Wanted to try their Holiday Drinks and chose the Peppermint Mocha Ice... I didn't know it would be in a different container and not their Christmas Cup as it is only meant for hot drinks but that's completely fine.. I got the medium size cup but i wasnt satisfied with the amount of whipped cream they put in so my hubby went back inside to request more cream but due to covid19, the barista had to re-do the whole thing and just because the whipped cream wont fit on the medium cup he had to use one size up to accommodate everything, it was so very nice of him to do that with no extra charge... Starbucks remains a Go To place for a quality beverage, especially mixed, sweet drinks. You know what you're gonna get--no deviation from restaurant to restaurant of the same drink you order often. Love the ambiance of the stores and the great baristas that make your drinks. Besides the great beverages, I believe the baristas make Starbucks, Starbucks! My only complaint is Starbucks is always busy, but then being busy is always part of the story with any great place for food/beverage. read more

My favorite Starbucks since it's right by my house. Starbucks never fails. I swear it's like heaven in a cup. My personal favorite is a Venti light iced caramel macchiato with 5 pumps vanilla 2-3 pumps hazelnut (or 7 pumps vanilla no hazelnut) with extra caramel drizzle & a sweet cream cold foam (occasionally almond milk if I remember) to the people who may read this.... I ordered a tall drip. My buddy had a cappuccino. It took about 3 minutes. Awesome. But that was enough time for the rear window of my car to be smashed and my hidden belongings stolen. This was at 8am on a Tuesday. The police explained to me that the criminals know there are no cameras facing the lot here and that it happens there often So, the coffee was fine, but please go to a Starbucks with cameras out front. I don't know whether it is the landlord that is cheap, or Starbucks. But this drip coffee has cost me thousands of dollars Please get your coffee somewhere safer. read more
