Came here today to grab a drink while studying for my NCLEX. It's a pretty busy Starbucks including the drive-thru. It wasn't crowded at all, and ordering was easy. There isn't a ton of seating, but they also have a small patio outside. My drink was promptly made, and they even gave me a venti instead of a grande. The staff was wonderful! The only downside to this location is that their line for ordering doesn't make sense. Like you walk in as the same side as you leave and pick up your drink from. The coffee is hit or miss, seems if you don't give them a specific number of pumps for syrups either you get too much or not enough. This location isn't always consistent. They're also moderately busy most of the time. The one good thing about this location is friendly baristas and the manager is really great! I've had great service from him and even a free drink for super long waits etc! read more

They have such a hard time getting there coffee together at this location. I swear! I drink a lot of SBX and from all of the local location. For whatever reason, this one shop cannot get a black coffee poured in a timely manner or they over adjust the espresso bring and it comes out brown water instead of caffeine zap. I am Just not sure what's up here. Upfront, I am a picky person. This is the reason why I drink coffee from Starbucks because they cater to my preference. Btw, I am ordering a coconut milk latte no sweetener or a dark roast with espresso. Seems uncomplicated if you ask me. Unfortunately this is the closest and most convenient to my home. More then twice I have gone thru the drive thru and then gotten down the street and sipped my coffee only to have to stop at the next location to have it remade. A regular Starbucks. Star 1- Staff is pretty friendly for the most part. Star 2- Not too cold first 20 min.. Star 3- It's clean. Other pros: The set up is pretty nice- one corner has chairs, other corner has tables and chairs, and others have a nook with 4 chairs. All have outlets close by. They have a drive through, outdoor seating & good collection of baked goods. Cons: After the first 20 min, it gets freezing! Music is WAY TOO LOUD. Even after i wore ear plugs, i felt like someone was screaming into my face. I don't even know how people can hold a conversation in there.. let alone study. I am not sure if they do that to drive 'wifi-hogs' out? Either way, not cool. I also noticed there's never anything fun on clearance ( if anything at all). They also make my iced chai latte with a little too much milk- all the 3 times i've been there ( ill have to tell them next time, Starbucks is usually pretty good about re-making drinks from what i've seen). I think this is a good thing- i'm going to explore other local coffee shops ( like i should have been doing in the first place!) read more

This one of the very very very very few Starbucks that makes a good cup of coffee, I'm not talking about one of those sugary syrupy froo froo concoctions but a real cup of coffee. The store and bathrooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and quick. The only reason I ever go to Starbucks is that people seem to give me their gift cards. read more

I'm a huge fan of this location. Whenever I am visiting my parents in VB, my family always makes a point to go to this location. Not once have our drinks not been made to specifications and we are quite a picky bunch. There's never a line inside but the drive thru can get a little long. read more

This is my FAVORITE Starbucks. It's a little tricky to get into, but it's sooo worth it. It's down the street from my son's school and I have to talk myself out of going every day that I drive past it! haha. The drive thru can take a little longer than I'd like with a screaming baby in the car, but I'll deal. The coffee is always HOT HOT HOT, just the way I like it, and every employee has always been so friendly and polite. There is a little outdoor seating area with tables and umbrellas, which faces the parking lot and Independence Rd, but I'm too chicken to try and sit out there. All those cars make me nervous. My only request would be (and this goes for ALL Sbux) that they would carry almond or coconut milk for a "creamer" option for those that don't do soy or dairy like myself. read more

Although some of their staff members have been wonderful, the overall service at this location is very poor. Their coffee and espresso have consistently been a disappointment in comparison to the other nearby locations. When asked to have my drink remade I was greeted with an unapologetic attitude. The Starbucks promise is "perfection in every cup or they will make you another" and in the past all other locations I have experienced this with, they were incredibly happy to uphold that standard. read more

I've stopped in this Starbucks multiple times and the baristas are always super friendly and it's never crazy busy. I stopped in today on my way out of an appt locally and when I pulled up my app to pay, the little notification for my birthday item popped up. The barista was really cool and used it for the most expensive item I had purchased, and when I apologized for being a legit moron and not being familiar with the new update to the app, she was really nice about it and said she wasn't either so we'd figure it out together. Might have been a ruse for a tip, but she sounded sincere and I bought it. Either way, I haven't had a bad experience here yet. The front parking lot is a bit of a pain, it's sort of cramped, but there's a ton of parking right behind/beside the building if you can handle walking an extra 6-10 feet. This is my go-to Starbucks. I am never disappointed when I walk in or go through the drive-thru and I believe this store should get more credit for their service. I usually always buy a Trenta size tea/lemonade and they always get my order right. I have never had to wait more than 10 mins from ordering to getting my coffee. Staff is always great and friendly. I've never had any issues here and I've been a regular for about 2 years. I don't go inside much so I can't comment on that. But even when the drive thru seems like forever long they still move pretty fast. I use their app to get the rewards and I love it. When I do have cash I always remember to tip them. Can you really review your experience through the drive-thru? I guess so. But really, it's hard to determine the time it takes to prepare your drink when there are 4 cars in front of you. What if each car had 3 drink orders of varying complexity? All I ordered was an iced venti non-fat chai latte. That's simple enough. When I got to the window it was ready so that's good and it had just the right amount of ice. One time I ordered this drink from another Starbucks and 3/4 of my cup was ice. Look - I'm not paying $5.00 for ICE, ok! But this Starbucks had it perfect! It's convenient for me too because it's the only Starbucks I pass with a drive-thru that's on my way to work. read more

Just got back from this location and my time there was excellent! I got a Reduced fat turkey bacon and egg sandwich, and it was delicious. I also wasn't sure what Tevana drink to get so I asked the barista and she suggested I try a tea with jasmine and oolong, two of my favorites!. She gave me a sample cup and I bought the sandwich sat down, enjoyed myself and the experience of hearing not only the people around me but hearing the baristas chat to the customers and take orders form the drive thru. Coffee was standard Starbucks quality but there was some kind of mixup in the drive-thru sp they gave us our coffee for free even though we only really waited for five minutes or so. That's a class act and needs to be highlighted. read more

I normally do not give just one star, but I must say I had such a horrible experience at this location. My boyfriend and I were waiting in front of the pick up counter, for about 10 minutes for his drink, after mine came out. I asked the barista (female.. i think her name was stephanie) if she had a TALL chestnut praline order coming up, and she said yes. Mind you there was a drink on the table that she called out earlier as being a GRANDE peppermint mocha latte. Since we ordered a TALL chestnut praline, we did not think to look at it and check if it was ours. So we proceeded to wait again for over 5 minutes, and noticed the people that came after us had already left. I went up to another barista (male) behind the counter and asked about our drink, and the female barista pointed to that same drink (what we she called out as being a GRANDE peppermint mocha latte) from earlier that was on the counter. The thing that makes me the most upset was that she was pretty rude about it. Also, she saw us standing and waiting for over 15 mins and didn't even bother to ask what we were waiting for. If she knew that was our drink from the first time I had asked, I don't understand why she didn't tell me that drink was ours. It was not the size we ordered, so of course we didn't think it was ours, I have had WAY better experiences at Starbucks located in Targets, Farm Fresh, and the different malls. There were no apologies or anything. The whole time I kept my cool, and was understanding that things do happen. I understand that it can get busy, but at least be nicer about it. read more

This location strikes again! Today I ordered my normal coffee drink with an extra shot and 1 pump of mocha and I think they forgot the espresso completely! So basically I paid $6 for a very weak tasting hot chocolate! Ridiculous! I think my faith in this location that they are one day going to get it right is gone. I really wish Starbucks would either staff this location with people that actually know what they are doing or build another drive thru location nearby. Wow. Really. "Dry" cappuccino 3 shots to you is the same as a caffe latte? I gave up after it was remade wrong 3 times. I had not been at Starbucks in months, I have a Livia Pasquini at home and make espresso and cappuccinos daily. Grew up in Europe, so I do know the difference between an espresso, a macchiato, a caffe latte etc... Non ci devo pensare.[ It is not something that requires much thinking.] By far this was a cup of overpriced swill. TRAIN your staff. Seriously. And the rudest "barista". Just for your own info Starbucks... watching someone wipe the steam nozzle with a rag so dirty that I would not wipe my floor with... was the cherry on the Sunday of disappointment.
