The sole reason this place is getting a third star is because of Brandon who commonly works the drive thru. There almost every day and always equally cheery and happy! I am constantly getting other people's orders or having my drinks made incorrectly here, which can be really frustrating in rush hour traffic on my way to work and not realizing this until I've gotten a mile down the road. Nothing puts a damper on your morning quite like ordering one thing and receiving another. I'm pretty sure I'm giving up on corporate coffee places. This is my main starbucks I go to and i tried out a new tea. I hadn't heard my name or anything called so i assumed the solo cup sitting on the counter top was mine; but before i grabbed it i wanted to ask what it was to be sure. I asked the caucasian last with glasses and she looked at me and said with an attitude i don't know look at the ticket. I guess i didn't look well enough with the brown sleeve on top and said i can't find it. so she snatched my cup took it out of the sleeve and said yes it tea......but why did she have to act in suck an irritable and mean manner? Conveniently placed close to the highway, this little spot has aided in many drives to work and long trips where my desire for a tasty beverage or treat was in full affect. I've tried many different items here but my go to is the Venti Java Chip Frappuccino with no whip and on occasion I couple it with a Lemon Pound Cake. This location is usually pretty quick and your wait even on busier mornings isn't very long. As almost always the associates put you in a good mood because of their bubbliness, I always wondered if was a coffee high or if they just hire bubbly individuals. Either way they have the most welcoming tattooed people in the bizz. It's a great place with indoor and outdoor seating. I've been doing the $8 lunches lately and wanted something different from my usually turkey with herbed havarti cheese. I tried the chicken bacon panini which says "warm sandwich" on the package but unless you specifically ask, they aren't going to heat it up for you. Even after heated up its still cold in the center and the bread is cold and soggy where the mustard has been on it. Overall pretty yucky. Even if it was heated through the sandwich consisted of mostly soggy bread without enough chicken. I'm going to stick to my cold sandwiches or pick a lunch box that doesn't need heated up next time. Also, the $8 lunch is supposed to have the option of a banana or a power bar but they did not have any fruit in the store. read more

Went to pick up an order that I ordered on my mobile. When I went to get my order at the drive-thru I was "greeted" by a very obnoxious employee who was snippy and must be having a bad day. She basically threw my order at me just really wow never will I go to that location again....Also I ordered a gouda egg sandwich without bacon and they put bacon on it. I do not eat pork and I needed to throw the entire sandwich out. I was in a different city when I noticed it and it was just not worth going back to replace it also not wanting to deal with the obnoxiousness again. Arrived on a Saturday afternoon using the drive thru. The man taking my order seemed friendly at first. I asked if the had the pumpkin spice in stoke now, to which he responded "yeaaaaaaaaaa we sure do, yeppie", extremely sarcastically. I wanted to just leave at this point because why would I want to pay 5+ dollars for a drink that comes with a side of bad attitude. If it's not your favorite drink, who cares? I'm not here for you, I'm here for my favorite drink, not yours. I went ahead and ordered an when I got to the drive thru window it was an older veteran wearing a Green Bay foot ball jersey under his apron. I wonder how he would have felt if I said something sarcastic about his favorite team, he would have probably spit in my drink! Grabbed a quick sandwich and latte for a dinner. Sandwich was hot and gooey and just what I expected. I love the Egg and Cheddar muffin! I ordered the flat white with whole milk for the first time and it was creamy and sweet without any added sugars or syrups. All in all-this is a conveniently located Starbucks to hit up right off of 264. It can get a little busy at times, but the staff do their damnedest to keep up. read more

Never puts whip in my coffee even though I ask for it and it's standard on the coffee I get. Very slow even when they are not busy. The one star is because they are always nice though. The only reason I continue to go there is because it has a convenient location right before you get on the interstate for work. read more

Meh. The location is poorly placed and it's kind of a pain to get in and out of this place. Lucky for me, I can take the back way and avoid Independence and getting t-boned to get to my job. I only go through the drive-through. The line, as always, is ridiculously long at 8:30 in the morning. The staff is friendly, but I was soooo disappointed in them the other morning. I normally get the Java Chip- it's my go-to. UNTIL....I saw on Facebook that they were doing the banana flambay. I instantly think Bananas Foster and I freakin LOVE Bananas Foster. Well, I ask the woman in these exact words, "what's the name of that banana drink you guys have now?". I think that's close enough- I couldn't remember that it was called freakin...banana flambay. Well the woman was CLUELESS! Had NO IDEA until she asked everyone in the Starbucks and finally she's like 'OHHHH the Banana Flambay!" Well duh, what other drinks do you have with bananas. Anyway, by that time I'm super excited and ready to taste awesome banana yumminess until she said, "yeah, we don't have the right ingredients for that." I wish I could have just driven away. Unfortunately, the damn drive thru is a trap! Unless you have a big truck that can jump curbs, you're stuck. So me in my little Yaris ordered a damn Java Chip. Ugh, so sad. read more

Very good drinks and food. Very over priced though. Workers are very nice with all of my experience with Starbucks. Sometimes workers get sloppy with the making of drink items which I understand is because they are rushing to fastly get everyone their drinks. I recommend Starbucks for special occasions. read more

The staff are always friendly and willing to help. My coffee came out exactly the way that I like it. And by recommendation of the cashier the bbq brisket sandwich was hot and tasty! Did you know that the breakfast sandwiches have frozen eggs?? I didn't until they gave me one that was completely frozen in the middle. I went the next day and they did it again. It was absolutely the most disgusting thing I could have imagined. I am an early customer at 4:30 am. They are always so nice and my order is perfect every time no matter who waits on me. I am a latte drinker and bacon Gouda breakfast sandwich regular. I am also a tea drinker and have been very happy with passion and chia selections / suggestions. This is becoming on of my favorite locations. Indian river location is my other go to location. You cannot go wrong in either place as far as I am concerned. read more

This is "my Starbucks." I've been coming to this location for years. The new upgrades inside are straight forward. I could see 35 maximum people fitting in their cafe. The selection of options is very high, they keep things nicely stocked. I wish the music was a little cooler. It's stale smooth jazz sound doesn't fit the guests or the area next to Mt. trashmore. Even typical coffee house music of voice and guitar would have fit this cafe better. And it's loud. The cafe is steady. It's clean in here, and my visit to the bathroom was very clean and smelled great! The condiment bar was well stocked and free of mess. Thank God. Most I visit, the condiment bar is a mess! The outdoor area looks awesome, no cigarettes butts to be found! The outside seats about 20, and sadly faces the business Boulevard and an office park. But drinks on the outside are nice here. Oh! The drive thru passes right past you outside. The outside is no smoking. The drive thru is steady so you will experience a little wait but not super long. On my way to work I give myself an extra 10-12 minutes for the Starbucks stop here. The lot is clean and there's plenty of space to park. The staff is diligent and friendly, but they don't do anything above their jobs. All in all this is a good Starbucks that gives you what you expect of the brand. I'd like it more if they went a little more above and beyond to really make it an experience. You can count on this Starbucks to do what Starbucks says they do. read more

I have been coming here for the last 8 months and used to love my early morning coffee. The baristas were nice, bright and friendly. They knew my order after only a few days. Now they constantly have new people and tthe veteran staff is not so bright and cheerful. No they have not been rude to me but I can tell a difference when one of two new managers are working. One morning I had an issue with my coffee and the new manager Debbie, was very brisk and not at all concerned with my satisfaction. The poor Barista on the espresso machine was completely embarrassed by the treatment I was recieving yet she had a new drink ready for me in two minutes and it was made the right way. A few days later I went in the afternoon to grab a coffee and was shocked to hear this manager, Debbie, yelling at baristas on the floor in front of a packed cafe because they were asking if they could help make drinks to get the drive through line moving quicker. Instead she told them they could wait for the drinks and food and clean instead while they were waiting. If this is how Starbucks is being run and these are the types of people Starbucks is hiring, I will no longer give my money to any of your stores. If you want a company to succeed, you should hire managers who know a thing or two about, 1) custome service and 2) employee relations. read more
