The Mediterranean Skillet adds grilled red onions, mushrooms, peppers, Kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes and a generous sprinkle of goat cheese. Topped with two eggs, it is decadently delicious. Bread options included scones, toast or biscuits. Our table tried all of them. My scone was so delicious. I only ate half because my skillet was so delicious and so filling. My friend loved her biscuit and my hubby loved his scone. Sophia was great. She kept checking on us with a warm smile and refills of coffee. Lots of parking on a Sunday morning. My wife and I visited this Dunkin' location around 5:00 PM today, 09/10/26, simply to purchase six donuts. We were the only customers in the store at the time. After waiting a few minutes, a young employee finally took our order. My wife ordered three Bavarian Cream donuts and three Jelly donuts--a very simple order that should have been nearly impossible to get wrong. We took the box home, only to discover around 7:30 PM that the order was nowhere close to what we had requested. Not only was the order incorrect, but it was frustrating that we had to get back in the car and drive six miles back to the store simply to have a basic order corrected. The two young women who had been working earlier were still there. We explained what had happened, and one of them took the box and replaced the donuts with the correct ones. What was particularly disappointing was their complete lack of customer service. Not a single word of apology. No "I'm sorry." No acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Nothing. Their attitude made it seem as though we were somehow unreasonable for being upset about receiving an order that was completely wrong. The most disturbing part of the entire experience, however, came when the employee took the six donuts we had brought back--donuts that had been sitting on our kitchen countertop for approximately three hours--and placed them back on the shelf to potentially be sold to another customer. That is extremely concerning from a food-handling and quality-control standpoint. Regardless of whether those donuts had technically been touched or not, the employees had no way of knowing how they had been stored or handled after leaving the store. The fact that they were apparently considered acceptable to put back out for another customer demonstrates an alarming lack of judgment and attention to basic food-service standards. This experience says a great deal about the quality of the employees and the level of training, supervision, and customer service at this location. Mistakes happen, but what separates a good business from a bad one is how employees respond when they make a mistake. In this case, we experienced an incorrect order, an unnecessary six-mile return trip, zero apology, zero concern for our inconvenience, and behavior regarding the returned food that I found completely unacceptable. Needless to say, we will never visit this Dunkin' location again. After this experience, I would strongly encourage management to take a serious look at the training, work ethic, professionalism, and food-handling practices of the employees working at this establishment.
