A brand new store location, and the interior of this Starbucks is larger than it looks than the outside. It is very beautiful and the parking lot is quite spacious which is great to spread out and study throughout the space. This location will surely be a hot spot with the LT students since it is so close and when I was in high school it sure would have been a morning lifesaver. Fast service but food was bad coffee was off. Unsure if it's the location of maybe the batista that made my order.

I ordered 2 drinks and promptly dropped them moments after walking out the building. Not a great start to the day at 7am, I know. I thought for sure that they would require me to repay for the drinks, after all, it was my fault. Well, I took the 2 broken cups to the register and the lady was so understanding! Not only did she remake the 2 spilled drains at no additional charge, she also gave me a $4 credit for the next time I come back because she wanted to make my day better. The inside of this Starbucks is amazing. It's so roomy and there's good seating; however, the parking lot is ABSURD. There's all of 10 spots in the entire lot and people illegally park and block you in (that's assuming you're lucky enough to get a spot). All of the surrounding businesses are so sick of the parking lot situation they all have signs that say "no Starbucks parking" half of the time you have to park across 47th Street and hope you don't get towed. I know there's not a lot to do about it but I wish it was planned better and didn't make me want to key peoples cars for stealing a spot I was waiting for read more

I was here on August 4th, I believe it may have been the second day they were open. They were not particularly nice to me. And the acoustics were horrible. It was not too full and yet the sound was being ripped through the room and it was very, very loud. I hope they put in some sound dampening panels to help those who want to read or relax while enjoying a drink. read more

I was so excited for this location to open and couldn't wait to go in when it did. The space is gorgeous and one of the swankiest Starbucks I have ever visited. There is plenty of space to relax and meet with friends for a drink or to work/study. It has a serenity and zenlike vibe about it that the other locations nearby do not offer. It's close proximity to the high school next door and overall location is problematic with how few parking spaces are offered. Every time I have gone in the last 6 weeks, I have been unable to secure parking in the actual lot. You absolutely can not park in the Honey Bee Restaurant parking, because it is exclusively for restaurant patrons. In order to grab a quick cup of coffee I need to park in the neighborhood and walk over, which no longer makes grabbing a cup of coffee as quick as I would like or need. If I am looking for a place to hang out for a while, then parking on a side street and walking over is not a problem. But if I am operating on a strict schedule, where every minute is precious, patronizing this location is not a viable option for me. So, it looks like I am still stuck driving to La Grange Rd or the Jewel location for my daily coffee fix, which is disappointing. It's like this location taunts me each time I drive by and I see a jam packed parking lot. I guess that an easily accessible Starbucks just wasn't meant to be. read more

I've become a regular customer at this Starbucks. I only do mobile ordering, and I've never had an issue. They've gotten all of my drinks right. It's the best Starbucks in the area. The inside has plenty of space and looks very different from other Starbucks. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is the parking lot is kind of a mess. There is no drive thru, so everyone has to park and head in. There are times when zero spots are available. They should have 2 designated "Mobile Order Pickup" spots with 5 minute timing to encourage mobile ordering. read more

I rarely visit this Starbucks because the parking is an issue, but I had a minute to spare this morning so I gave it a shot - very disappointing to walk in to see 3 bored-faced employees who did not greet me, or act polite, and when the employee pushed my coffee toward me she immediately started talking to the employee next to her. This is a good-looking Starbucks but the service is not great. Between regularly forgetting to make my breakfast sandwich, asking me what drink I ordered (why put it into the machine?), and calling me "Joe" (why ask my name if you are just going to shorten it?), trips here seem more like a frustration than a treat. Also, with only 21 parking spaces (not their fault), it can be a hassle trying to get to it. Sadly, this one is more convenient for me, but the 'bucks on La Grange and the one in Western Springs are better. read more

I live in River North, Chicago (right next do the loop downtown area), and this is one of the prettiest Starbucks I have come across. It is a tad bit noisy, but it's good. The few times I have gone in, the customer service has been exceptional. Continually asking me if I was good one coffee, if I needed anything else, etc. I grew up in La Grange and my parents still live here. This place really does go above and beyond for a Starbucks. Their job is to make you a drink, hand it to you, and that's about it. They are baristas, not your servers. However, they became both of those titles for me several times. Im use to the constant move of the city in which no one is really nice to you because we're so accustomed to "what's next in my day" etc. A lovely atmosphere, very nicely decorated, able to do all the school work, and overall, very pleased to have this Starbucks here. Maybe more parking and less noise, but I can survive for now. read more

Beautiful Starbucks with plenty of seating. But much like the other reviews have shared, it is hard to park and it is very loud. I was there right before LT HIgh School got out but many students were in there to hang out and talk. Which they are intitled to do- just does not work as a quiet space to work after 3pm. Most of the workers here are nice and I've actually made friends with a few of them since I go here so regularly, but lately I've been having trouble with one of the employees. On multiple occasions he has been blatantly rude to me or the people I'm with. If I ask a simple question about something he answers me as if I'm stupid or as if I should know the answer. If he gives me the correct info, it comes across as rude and sounds like he is belittling me. Since the "kitchen" is in the open, he could at least TRY to hide his distain!!! Instead, he stands there making faces and whispering about others! Just out in the open! The incident that topped it off was today when he didn't call my name and he put my order in the back corner where I couldn't see it, and then was frustrated with me when I asked about it. I am appalled and this one employee has ruined my whole starbucks experience and has managed to make something enjoyable into something completely unenjoyable. I hope something is done. read more

I'm a usual Starbucks customer, never had an issue with it or anyone until today. As of today, I decided to give the mobile ordering a try, I placed the order 20 min before I'd arrive.I knew my order should have been ready so I shouldn't have to wait a while to pick it up. So I decide to park in the handicapped spot(not to mention, I have an illness SLE short known as Lupus; which I'm currently waiting to get my handicapped license plate.) An employee that goes by the name of Emma, decided to rudely with a tone of yelling decided to move my car instantly. Not only does she not know my situation, nor do I looked handicapped does it give her the right to misjudge me, nor does it give her the right to yell at me in front of other customers. I did not argue with her it was 6:50a.m. It's too early to be treated with an unpleasant manner. I don't feel comfortable coming to this location if she's going to be rude every time I come in. She as well started yelling and then laughs at me face trying to explain my situation. I work as a manager at a food service location, I've never ever have treated a customer the way she has treated me. I suggest going to a different location. Not acceptable. read more
