I like how this location is open later than most places. I used my birthday treat reward. They didn't have the first thing I ordered, so I chose a coconut based drink that's blue with popping boba. It was light & refreshing. I saved it overnight & it still tasted good the next day which is impressive, not too watered down from melted ice, still really good. Even the boba was still popping! I want to give this store 10 stars and I would if I could. Long story - Jack served me. Jack is an employee with a different Apron and it took me a moment to realize he had it because he is deaf. Jack's apron had star bucks spelled out in ASL. Jack was providing great service to someone (me) who didn't realize his gift. I asked him to teach me how to say, "I like your apron" in ASL. The gentleman who rang me up was incredibly kind. Although he is mute, he communicated very effectively through body language and made the interaction pleasant. However, I was disappointed with the drink I received. I always request no ice at every Starbucks I visit, and as a daily customer, I've never had an issue. But today, my cup wasn't filled to the top. This was surprising and not consistent with what I've come to expect. We did a mobile order while sitting outside on one of their comfortable tables with shade from their familiar green umbrellas. Our order was ready before time and the staff was very friendly. Great location! We love grabbing a coffee and walking around park ave to check out the shops and relax by the large grass area. The line is always long so expect to wait for a while. With a trusted name like Starbucks, you know what you will get. With tons of foot traffic comes frustrated employees at times who are going nonstop. Personally, I LOVE this Starbucks and am here quite often. I've gotten my free Christmas cup here and have been here when it's busy and early in the morning when it's less so. What I appreciate is the team here - they take very good care of their patrons. I come in now and don't even need to tell them what I want, they already know. I also love that I get extra points on the Starbucks app when I use the recyclable cup I purchased here - a brilliant idea I wish more places implemented. The store is very clean and there is seating inside and out. This Starbucks is on Park Avenue, close to Rollins College so it can get very busy on event days. Grateful to have Starbucks on park avenue. There's a parking garage in the back and street parking. No drive thru. I use my app to order as it is a very busy location. Leaving review to implore to Coporate or management- PLEASE FIX THE LOCKS IN BATHROOM. It is a longtime issue. Needs a different type of lock. Locks never look like they are working and even though I've locked them-twice people have walked in. Friends have complained the same to me. Employees are wonderful. Drinks are great. The star is taken off for locks being garbage. read more

If you are affiliated with Rollins College and hang out at this Starbucks for any length of time, you will see one or more people you know on any given day. The challenge, depending on the time, will be finding seats together. This Starbucks is a popular stop to relax, complete school work, meet with friends or study groups, and grab a bite. Don't count on seating without a wait at busy times. Starbucks perfected the wait for coffee cache, but this Starbucks sometimes takes too long to get orders out when bustling with customers. Too long = 5 to 10 minutes. I have learned to check out how many people are waiting for drinks and how many are in line before ordering if I am in a rush. If in doubt, ask someone how long they have been waiting, I find everyone to be very friendly and willing to share (or gripe). If the store is very busy and you need to use the restroom, prepare to wait. This Starbucks has only two single use restrooms. To reduce the wait, female customers will frequently use the one intended for men so don't be shocked if you see a woman exiting. Why Starbucks doesn't label them as gender neutral since both restrooms are both single use is beyond me, other than the men's room is usually more of a mess (warning). The birthday cake pop (pink with sprinkles) is delicious. It is super moist! read more

I love Park Ave. in Winter Park. Its a treat to grab my Starbucks late coffee (flavor varies based on mood) and walk around the park or window shop. This was a Monday, early afternoon visit. There were people sitting outside at the little tables enjoying their coffee, some working on their laptops, others just socializing. Inside was very busy; not unlike any other Starbucks. All of the tables, to include the sofa lounge section, were taken. There was a small line at the ordering counter. The woman taking the orders was very friendly and efficient. Maybe too efficient, because there was a bottle neck at the receiving end. There were three additional people behind the counter, one making the drinks and two (what I call) runners. They were moving quickly, trying to maneuver around each other, but just looked disorganized chaotic. The lady making the drinks seemed very frazzled too, and I saw her throw out a couple drinks that must not have turned out right. Truthfully, standing in close quarters with the other patiently waiting patrons, and watching what was going on behind the counter, I was starting to feel a bit anxious. When my order came up, I was happy to get out of there and take a few deep cleansing breaths to relax myself. read more

I would say this Starbucks is good for coffee pick up only. It's not really the kind of spot you go to sit at a while. I've been to other Starbucks that are very cozy and inviting. I would not say that about this one. It's more of a take out vibe. read more

The location for this Starbucks is bonkers. It's smack dab in the middle of downtown Winter Park. There are restaurants and a beautiful Central Park well within walking distance, and there is plenty of parking around on the weekends.We came here to study some one day. We got an iced coffee and a peach syrup sweetened green tea. Those drinks were good. I would just like to note that this location has way more seating than usual, which makes sense, since it is a very busy location, and the turnover rate of people sitting in those seats is faster than I was expecting. I was here for about three hours, and I think the whole place turned over almost three full times. So if you wanna study or read or just be in a coffee shop, this place will have seating for you, and it has all the standard Starbucks stuff. read more

Located on Park Avenue in Winter Park, this location is good for when you are looking to either hang out and chat, or grab a coffee for a stroll down the street. They do not have a drive thru since they are located in a shared building with Suntrust. A downer here is that this location is always very busy, since it is across the street from Rollins College, and they do not have a lot of seating. When we go here, it's pretty much a given that this is a grab and go situation since there are never seats. This was a major bummer when I was in school and just wanted somewhere to sit and relax before night classes. Staff here is a little bit more lax than other locations as well, since they don't have a drive thru and they are use to the college scene, they don't have a lot of hustle here. This was also frustrating when I was in school and wanted to grab a quick coffee before class, and they took their time making it. This location is pretty flippin' rad. The outdoor seating is just perfect when you are looking to get some fresh air, work a little or catch up with a friend. Tons of people have their dog with them and that just always lifts spirits =) Inside they have this awesome long table with really comfy stools, before you know it you killed 4 hours in here. Of course the staff here is awesome, Winter Park seems to know what customer service is =) I know it's starbucks but I can't help it, sometimes I need to order some ridiculously named latte and splurge with the million calorie whipped cream. read more

This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations. Located on Park Avenue in the heart of winter park, it's a great place to sit and stay awhile. Plenty of seating inside and out, this small shop is always packed. Staff is friendly, drinks are made well and it's a nice place to stop off for coffee. I almost feel bad giving a Starbucks such a good review, but this location is just so perfect. Right on Park Ave, so the people watching is top notch. Sidewalk seating (with umbrellas...SCORE!) and plenty of room inside. Plus the staff is very friendly and they give it almost a mom and pop shop feel. On my days off, I love going to a coffee house and playing around on my Mac. I find myself going here more and more. Note: I know..Palmano's is right across the street and offer all that too, but frankly, the last few times I've gone there, the coffee was poor and the service had taken a nose-dive from the past. read more

4th of July with my family and I wanted a quick nibble. I was eating the ham, egg and cheese croissant while I was nursing my son. (If your a mother you know how you get so hungry that you devour food) Until I realized the foul taste and sliminess of the sandwich. As soon as I smelt it I vomited but I had already eaten almost half of it from my hunger. STARBUCKS Stick to making coffee because your not qualified to make food!!! There should really be an Inspection and have that location be prohibited from selling food. I am drinking so much ginger in hopes I do not get ill. read more

This is a fabulous location for people watching. There is something pretentious and amusing about the Winter Park set. The store itself has plenty of cozy seating and I often find myself camped out in a cushy chair, sipping my beverage and reading something good. The employees seem pretty nice too. I had just gotten off of the Sunrail and me and my friend wanted some coffee, (because you know, addicts) so we immediately started looking for a coffee shop. We originally wanted a small "mom-pop-never-been-to-this-place-before-and-it's-not-a-chain" coffee shop, but we both remembered we had a free drink to redeem, so we ended up here. I walked in and went to the counter and I quickly told the barista that I was going to claim my free drink. She asked "what would you like?" so I replied and told her, it didn't matter to me as long as it was vegan and explained to her how to "veganize" the drinks. Me and her talked for about 7 minutes on things that she liked, that I liked, what went well together and what could result in the best drink possible. And to my surprise my drink was amazing! That's what I call customer service. I had a great time, the barista took extra time to take care of me and she gave me a unique drink that tasted great, I've never had and we came up with together. If I remembered the name of the girl and the drink I'd share it with you guys, but unfortunately, I don't. Sorry :( but you guys must stop here and ask the baristas to help you come up with a drink. A Starbucks is a Starbucks, I suppose, but when you look at this coffee shop compared to others on Park Avenue, I wouldn't recommend coming here. First- it's packed, and can be hard to find seating during peak hours. But more importantly, there are several higher quality coffee shops on Park Ave that have better coffee and ambiance. read more

This is one of the better Starbuck's locations in the Orlando area. First of all, it is on lovely Park Ave in Winter Park which is one of the most civilized parts of town. Brick streets, pretty park, fun shopping, great people watching and luxury vehicles everywhere. Secondly, the people watching is great. It's a mix of college students, upwardly mobile professionals, eccentric wealthy ladies who lunch and smart business owners. So be sure and listen to what people are saying around you! Also, the staff if friendly and fast. They need to be, because this is a high-volume location. The only reason it didn't get five stars is due to the congestion, which at times can be irritating. But all-in-all this is a simply top drawer Starbucks. read more

While working and going to school at Rollins College, I probably went to this Starbucks a million times. When they expanded their hours and started opening at 5:30am, it was my go to every Friday morning before my 6am radio show on WPRK. The staff here is very friendly (even at 5:30am) and they recently went through a remodel giving them more seating on the inside. I've gotten a couple questionable Caramel Macchiatos, but they rarely every mess up an order here. If you happen to be shopping on Park Ave, you can also sneak in here to use the restroom and they won't make you buy a latte :p read more
