Eagle Eye Mobile Notary of Woodland conducting a notary appointment at Starbucks
    Dina M.

I am a local mobile notary and I often have clients request to meet me at this Starbucks. It's a great place, the staff is friendly and the table are well spaced for privacy! Next time you need a notary, skip the UPS store and call Eagle Eye Mobile Notary! #mobilenotary

Update: Something feels really dishonest at this location. Unlike every other Starbucks I go to, the card reader here no longer gives me the option to add a tip -- it just shows a final total. My drinks have always seemed a little more expensive, but today I finally asked about it. I ordered my drink with light ice and light cold foam. At the window, the total was almost a dollar more than what the Starbucks app showed. I asked why, and the employee immediately stumbled over her words before blaming it on the "machine" charging for light cold foam. But the app never charges for that. When I pointed this out, she quickly adjusted the price to exactly what my app showed. This makes it look like they've been adding about a dollar onto every order -- essentially taking a tip without giving me the choice. That's not okay. I included screenshots of every other review I've left about this place, because the more I come here, the more issues I encounter. If they are taking tips without consent, that's theft -- even if it's just $1.

I haven't been to Starbucks for months, but when they announced the new Wicked collaboration, I knew I had to try the drinks. I arrived at the store brimming with excitement but was instantly disappointed. The sidewalk sign simply featured the fall menu, the new drinks were absent from the menu board, and cashier didn't even know the names of the new drinks. Starbucks--if you're not enthusiastic about your new product rollouts, why should your customers care? Service was quick, and both drinks tasted great. I thought I would like the sweeter, fruitier Glinda's Pink Potion more, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the hint of peppermint in Elphaba's Cold Brew.

While enjoying my fabulous cafe latte and blueberry scone, I am going to give a short but sweet review for this Starbucks location! It is true all Starbucks are not created equal!:) And this particular Starbucks, while always busy, is my favorite. A nice little patio out front and even though it is in the middle of a parking lot it is always clean and well-maintained. The service has always been top notch during every visit. But today my customer expectations were exceeded! I ordered an extra hot cafe latte with almond milk. My bad because I had never had almond milk in a latte. I did not care for the taste at all. I asked if I could have a little steamed half and half to add to it and Ulysses offered to make me a brand new one without the almond milk! Now that's what I'm talking about! And Selena, another employee, recommended a few pumps of vanilla to sweeten it up...All at no cost. Wow...! Thank you for going the extra mile to make me so happy! I hope your manager reads this at some point! But he or she probably already knows how awesome you both are! It is so heartwarming when you run into people like Ulysses and Selena!

I'll give 5 stars even though it should have just been a 4 despite the lady who took my order via drive they sounded hasty. Maybe, she's the only one working this morning. But there were only one other car behind for me. My hot mocha was done right, like it was my previous visits. Nonetheless, the egg and cheddar sandwich without sausage was blah. 3.95 bucks worth of blah. A slapped on cheddar and slightly over heated English muffins and spongy egg. Starbucks, how about reviving this up with some a slice of tomato, a crack of pepper and arugula? I would be happy if that was what I am biting into this morning. Anyway, I'll try again another morning.

I don't really review fast food or mega chains but this drink looked good, tasted good so I needed to show some love. The Mocha Cookie Crumble is where it's at. Stop in at a local Starbucks and try it. Get it for dessert or if you're just walking through the mall or something. It's good if you like coffee like my lady and it's good if you like cookies like myself.

Slow. They've apologized for the wait sometimes, but it's more often than not, slow. When they're slow AND they mess up your orders. Meh.

I recently enjoyed my first (and definitely not my last) dining experience at the HIVE tasting room and kitchen in Woodland, CA. I enjoyed it; the food was delicious and customer service on point. I went there with the intent of mead wine tasting but ended up not since I had driving duties. [Fun fact: mead wine has less alcohol content than grape wine.] Instead I ordered lunch and washed it down with their honey ice tea. The iced tea had a prominent honey taste. Hubs luved his, but my tastebuds were confused. Odd though because I luv honey and iced tea. We also ordered a Ruben sandwich $22 and an order of waffles. The sandwich was classic with the familiar flavors. Nice quality cut of meat, thinly shaved. The waffles $17 were topped with blueberries, slivered almonds, and orange blossom whipped ricotta cream which I asked for on the side. The ricotta cream was divine. The waffles tasted pretty darn good. However the pricing for both entrees seemed high for the serving size. But this is a type of place where folks can eat and linger to enjoy the grounds, atmosphere, and each other's company without anyone rushing you out. We enjoyed our meal out in the back outdoor patio. The landscaping is all organic with lots of pollinating and drought resistant plants and trees. The building is a zero energy building with an onsite brewing facility. The interior has a brand newish look and feel. There is a honey tasting and mead wine tasting counter, gift shop, and dining area. All of this is in an open floor plan. The indoor seating capacity is limited. The place can be rented out for events (such as a garden wedding), private facility tours. Plus they host community events. Take a peek at their website. Some events are free. Events range from tours, book readings, yoga classes, flower bouquet class, gardening... etc.
