Walked into the store (internally frantic) as the traffic was already making me late and we met with the friendly faces belonging to Logan and Mason. Update: Something feels really dishonest at this location. Unlike every other Starbucks I go to, the card reader here no longer gives me the option to add a tip -- it just shows a final total. My drinks have always seemed a little more expensive, but today I finally asked about it. I ordered my drink with light ice and light cold foam. At the window, the total was almost a dollar more than what the Starbucks app showed. I asked why, and the employee immediately stumbled over her words before blaming it on the "machine" charging for light cold foam. But the app never charges for that. When I pointed this out, she quickly adjusted the price to exactly what my app showed. This makes it look like they've been adding about a dollar onto every order -- essentially taking a tip without giving me the choice. That's not okay. I included screenshots of every other review I've left about this place, because the more I come here, the more issues I encounter. If they are taking tips without consent, that's theft -- even if it's just $1. read more

The only issue I've had at multiple is the frequent off taste of iced coffee, so I switched to cold brew and have yet to be let down with that. Note that there is a Starbucks at this location that is a full store, there is also one in target that is not the same. If you've never looked it up - Target Starbucks is managed by Target and not Starbucks, they offer a lot of similar items and benefits but not the full menu, star options, and may be restrictions on specials. I haven't been to Starbucks for months, but when they announced the new Wicked collaboration, I knew I had to try the drinks. I arrived at the store brimming with excitement but was instantly disappointed. The sidewalk sign simply featured the fall menu, the new drinks were absent from the menu board, and cashier didn't even know the names of the new drinks. Starbucks--if you're not enthusiastic about your new product rollouts, why should your customers care? Service was quick, and both drinks tasted great. I ordered a creme based Frappuccino on door dash today, I had made some modifications to it, and for some unknown reason the person who made my drink took it upon themselves to assume that based on my modifications that I was just an idiot who was actually trying to order a coffee Frappuccino. I ordered crème based drink because I have a heart condition and I'm extremely sensitive to caffeine. Even the one sip of the drink I took before realizing the error has made me feel unwell. Not sure what is up with the Starbucks locations in Woodland. I was in Woodland today for work, and had to use my laptop (needed internet connection). I stopped by this Starbucks and bought a drink while I was there. I can't believe it is over $6 for a medium latte now. Crazy. They always "have a couple more questions on the screen," though can't bother to talk to you or give you eye contact, or even call your name out when the drink is ready. Keep on giving just the bare minimum service, if you can call it that. read more

While enjoying my fabulous cafe latte and blueberry scone, I am going to give a short but sweet review for this Starbucks location! It is true all Starbucks are not created equal!:) And this particular Starbucks, while always busy, is my favorite. A nice little patio out front and even though it is in the middle of a parking lot it is always clean and well-maintained. The service has always been top notch during every visit. But today my customer expectations were exceeded! I ordered an extra hot cafe latte with almond milk. My bad because I had never had almond milk in a latte. I did not care for the taste at all. I asked if I could have a little steamed half and half to add to it and Ulysses offered to make me a brand new one without the almond milk! Now that's what I'm talking about! And Selena, another employee, recommended a few pumps of vanilla to sweeten it up...All at no cost. Wow...! Thank you for going the extra mile to make me so happy! I'll give 5 stars even though it should have just been a 4 despite the lady who took my order via drive they sounded hasty. Maybe, she's the only one working this morning. But there were only one other car behind for me. My hot mocha was done right, like it was my previous visits. Nonetheless, the egg and cheddar sandwich without sausage was blah. 3.95 bucks worth of blah. A slapped on cheddar and slightly over heated English muffins and spongy egg. Starbucks, how about reviving this up with some a slice of tomato, a crack of pepper and arugula? I would be happy if that was what I am biting into this morning. Very disappointed. Stop at this store as we were heading through town. But, on Friday it was a real disappointment. Parked and walked up to the store and found the lobby was closed. Since I had my heart set on a Starbucks breakfast I decided to give the drive through a try. Get in the queue and pull up to order to find out there were only 2 items available an the breakfast menu, neither of which I wanted. So, I told the "person in the box" I was not interested in ordering either so I had to wait in line behind 15 cars to get out of line. My new rule is if the lobby is closed, keep going and take my business elsewhere. As for this Starbucks, pretty poor performance; a closed lobby and pretty much a non-existent menu. :-( read more

I only come here on occasion, but the woman at the window this morning at 8am was incredibly rude. They should have her making coffee...not interacting with customers. I did a mobile order to be picked up in the drive thru. I told the person that I was there to pick up my mobile order and gave her my name. When I got to the window, I wasn't greeted...she just said, "Nine dollars." I told her it was a mobile order and already paid for. She said, "What name?" which I gave her again. Buried out in the nether regions of Woodland (Costco shopping center), this space is cozy...provided it's not 100F+ out. It's not a small Davis-like franchise, but rather a semi-spacious place with a padded bench and multiple tables. Currently, an employee is sampling chocolate croissants. Yes, they're probably leftover from last night, but it's fairly lovely to be served free samples while sitting here. ...and somehow one can order and pay from his or her phone before even entering the building in the hopes that their drinks would be prepared and ready for them upon entry. Every time I come here they have the worst tasting coffee I get a white mocha and the shots always taste like they expired has the dirty, bitter taste. I believe the machines are bad waste of money, especially when you leave and don't have time to go back to have them replace it. Always the same, consistently-crafted drinks. Never a surprise or uncertainty about how your coffee will taste. I love the dependability of Starbucks. If you love espresso and creamy drinks, I'd recommend a Flat White. A cappuccino is also deliciously heavy on the espresso. One of my favorite sweet drinks is a Caramel Macchiato, either hot or iced. If coffee isn't your thing, they have smoothies and tea drinks. You can also get boxed lunches, snacks, and pastries. This location is not as crowded as Starbucks locations in Davis. That's a plus! Parking is easy, as well. Located in the same plaza as Target, Michael's, Best Buy, and nearby Costco, you can get a caffeine buzz and then get your errands done. read more
