Mostly crunchy coating on the calamari- it's not flaky like most other places, instead it's crumb-y (see pic for reference). Good flavor in the crust, and the squid pieces were cut from an actual whole squid, so you get fun little pointy pieces too. The squid itself was on the softer side, not as chewy as squid usually is. The marinara sauce was very disappointing, tasted watery (and just sorta bad). The portion size was a bit smaller than I would have liked. Ordered on ubereats ahead of time, but I don't think they started making it until I showed them I was there to pick up my order. I would recommend just showing up and ordering at the counter, you save on extra processing fees and you don't lose much on time. Inside has a few tables and chairs in front of the counter, enough to seat a little more than 10 people max I'd estimate. The owners/employees seem nice and efficient. read more

Ordered from this spot for dinner because my daughter loves fish & chips, and we wanted to try something new. She ordered the fish & chips, I ordered the calamari. She said the fish was excellent and she enjoyed it and will order again. I, on the other hand, found the calamari rings to be rubbery and soggy, not at all crisp. They were disappointing. I will order again because my daughter enjoyed the fish and I will try some of their other dishes, but I'd stay away from the calamari. Delivery fees were a bit steep so next time I'll probably pick up. The place is a take-out stand, there's no seating, so you're definitely getting it to go. read more

Purchased a fried shrimp sandwich, a lobster roll and an order of fries and what I received was a couple of baby shrimp scattered on a huge roll..empty sandwich, salty as heck and no additional topping such as lettuce tomato onion. My lobster roll was super small and super salty and the lobster tasted old not fresh at all. I didn't want to give them a bad review so I called the restaurant and spoke to the person who took my order to explain that I wasn't happy with my purchase and that the food was super salty and we could not eat it and if I can get my money back, he said I am not giving money back and hung up the phone. What kind of customer service is this? If you want your customer to return you would have made it right by at least offering half of the money back. The Fish in the fish and chips was old and overcooked. Not edible. The calamari was edible but rubbery.

Delicious seafood, probably the best in Northern NJ. I loved the Tilapia Platter and Fried Shrimp. Restaurant is primarily take-out only, but there are a few tables on the sidewalk to eat there as well. read more
