    Clam chowder

I am not sure when the remodel happened but this place looks amazing now! The lounge is a great space for a lot of people. It's open, tons of seating, standing, and bar room for lots of guests. The musicians even have their own spot up above in the lounge also! My friend and I can for lunch and I got the clam chowder which was so flavorful and yummy! I also got the shrimp appetizer for lunch and it was also flavorful with two different sauces! I would definitely recommend this place and the food!

Visited with a friend who recommended coming here to grab lunch. It's semi-laidback atmosphere with tables and booths. Our waiter was very nice. We all ordered a Bacon Cheddar burger which comes with fries and my husband ordered the Cobb salad which was huge. The burger was well done (as requested) and the buns with slightly buttery and with a little crisp. The fries were delicious, not greasy and they come in little fryer baskets. The Cobb salad had sliced chicken which was tender and flavorful. The salad was very good as well. Pretty large for one person, but hubby and I shared the salad and burger since the dishes were pretty large for one person. Would definitely return.

2nd visit in 2 weeks . Last visit 5 stars and most amazing dinner in our 20 years coming. This one was good but not quite the 5 . I believe we had a new server . She was super friendly and attentive so we still tipped 20 %. Ordered Iced Tea got tea no ice . Asked for butter for our veggies it was the cinnamon butter used for biscuits. We ended up throwing away the veggies and mashed potatoes which we also put the butter on. The dishes were all amazing as expected. The fries weren't the same and not as good but it happens. Still excited for our next visit.

Had late dinner on a non busy night i assume they weren't busy with very few tables occupied. My server was very nice and did do a great job taking care of us. We ordered loaded fries, jalepeno poppers, fried mushrooms, boneless chicken and build your own burger. Everything was delicious and fresh except the boneless chicken wings were not wings. They were more of a popcorn chicken rather than wings. Five were just the batter and the other were huge, but more batter as well. I mentioned it to my server and she was kind enough to take it off because she did agree to the size. To be honest I would not want to pay $13 for 5 popcorn chicken and 4 extra breaded bones less wings. The environment was just gloomy and attic feeling. Cleanliness was one of the star markdown. Recommend? Sure, why not!

We were thankful this restaurant was still open after we checked into the hotel late. Not busy as it was a Monday evening. Nice open restaurant with several tables and a large bar. Our waiter was very nice. The bacon wrapped poppers were incredible. We'd stop back in here again!

We decided to give this place a try for a late lunch. We were greeted right away and picked a booth to sit in. We ordered a bowl of clam chowder, two glasses of merlot and nachos to share. The chowder (which was good) and merlots came pretty quickly BUT the nachos took well over 45 minutes! These were horrible! The chips were all soggy and the whole dish was lukewarm except the bowl was hot. We had to dig around to find the chicken. It was bad and certainly NOT worth $16!! We gave up on waiting for our check (which never came) and just walked to the front counter to pay. I don't think we'll visit this eating establishment again.

Ate lunch & dinner and had a few drinks here at the bar during my 3 day trip to Shelton, WA. Food - The menu is a traditional bar menu with Burgers, Nachos, and all of the grilled, fried, greasy goodness that comes with drinking. I had their Nachos & their Burgers, which were both good. The Nachos were enough to feed 2 people and I couldn't finish it...although I gave it a good try. The Burger I had was topped with Avacado, Pepper Jack Cheese, and Tomatoes.....very good burger. Waffle Cut Fries were great too. Drinks - While I was here, I mostly drank the Longhammer IPA, which was on tap and soooo good. The Alaskan Amber was good too, but I kept going back to the IPA. The servers and bartenders here are very friendly and willing to offer their recommendations on food and drink. A+ on the service. Will I return? The next time I'm in Shelton, WA....of course!

Burger on my patty melt was a chunk of soy w/fake grill marks & potato salad was out of a container w/hard rubber eggs.

Cozy atmosphere. There were 3 employees that night, the woman who initially waited on us actually appeared to roll her eyes when we ordered. She seemed pretty rushed and just didn't want to work that night or something. The bartender was friendly and came for our second round and he actually seemed more welcoming and friendly. The drinks menu is a bit small (compared to other nearby bars). We got 5 drinks, one espresso one which wasn't great and the rest were alright. Nothing that made us go "Oh man, try that!" but they weren't bad either. The food, looks better than normal bar food, which I loved. We ordered "Balls of Gibralter" - North African meatballs, which were *SO GOOD*, so delicious EXCEPT the texture. The flavors were all amazing, but it was as if there was too much egg and not enough breadcrumbs because it gave the impression of being wildly undercooked, even though you could see no pink. If they were firmer, they would've been perfect. They seem to have a rotating grilled cheese special I wouldn't mind checking out next time. The ambiance-lovely. And to me, the price is too high for the food to just be "fine." The mocktails are always delicious, and one time they made me a Pimm's cup. I've also sipped a few of my family's cocktails and they're quite good. The best thing I had was a vegan sloppy Joe with chickpeas a few years ago. The vegan Caesar salad is good. They seem to have a housemade veggie burger on the menu year round, but it's on a brioche bun so if you want to get it vegan it just comes without a bun... I had it once with the bun and even then I found it pretty dry and underwhelming, especially for the price. ($18 with a pickle and a handful of their thick fries [the fries are tasty and vegan]). We went yesterday and I got a squash appetizer without the crème fresh, and half the squash was undercooked (like so hard I couldn't put a fork through it). I told the server and they comped the dish, but even the part that was edible wasn't that great, so I didn't really want a replacement. My sister likes the steak, she's had it twice and the steak is cooked well, the sauce is good, but the carrots have been undercooked both times. She agrees that the drinks are better than the food. She also says the desserts are good. My mom thought the crab cakes were delicious, her Brussels sprouts were not undercooked.
