I've purchased 2 cars from Starline in the past 20years. Their service department (Monte) has always given me the best price and went out of his way to help me. If I bring my car in, even if it wasn't purchased from them, I've never had to take it back for the same issue. Whether getting servicing or if there is a particular car you're looking for, they are always able to find it. Purchased a 2018 suv from this dealership in August of 2025. Had multiple repairs with new oil change and filter which should've been done upon purchase date, spark plugs were also replaced. One month later in September the 3rd cylinder piston had misfired multiple times causing it to melt which destroyed the entire bore. My car was then out of commission for two months severely messing up my school schedule in terms of transportation. The bill to fix the ran me up to a sum of $2k getting it repaired in November. Is there a no star review? I bought a car here, it over heated. They have their own mechanics next door. They claimed they fixed the problem after charging me 160$. They lied and give you the run around. Do not trust Ruby or Ray. They are very unappreciative to their customers. They are very bad at customer service & I know this because I work doing customer service, I know what customer services is. Stay away from this place. They have a repair garage that does mechanic work and sells tires. These guys nickel and dime people. I needed them to plug my tire to repair it (this doesn't even require them to take the wheel off) and he wanted to charge me 20 bucks. Doesn't sound like much but eventually maybe I would have had work done here on my car or bought a car from them in the future , but since they are trying to rip me off on this little thing I know they will rip me off on car repairs or a used car. Best auto leasing experience!!!!!! I had a Lexus gs350 I had leased. The lease was over February 18, 2016. I called Ray at Starline ( he was referred by a friend ) told him my budget told him I had a lease ending that same day he told me he would call me back with what he can get me. I waited less then 30 min Ray called me back told me what he had found for me which was a awesome deal on a 2016 infinity QX60. After I have him the go my father went to Lexus of Glendale to return our GS350 when Ray found out he offer to go pick up by father from Glendale take him to his dealership so my father could pick up his new car. To make a long story short. Don't trust posted fake positive reviews. Why? A week after I purchased my vehicle I had to return to this starline motors dealer because the transmission went out. After a long discussion because they would not refund or trade in the car for another I agreed to have them fix it. Only to have this car taken to my mechanic a year later for work on the engine, to rebuild rebuild it, along with the transmission, again. The car was over priced and they did not honor their word. Dont ever buy a car from here. Bought a car recently from them and they said everything was fine with car. But turns out it wasn't. After recently purchasing from them took to a mechanic the mechanic said need a new battery the one that came with car was so old they just power cleaned it to make it look new. Same as the engine and all the parts they power washed to make it look brand new. Starline never told me that the car i purchased over heated two times feom previous owners which they didnt disclose. The mechanic saw proof under the hood. Many things need to be changed in my car because starline did a have fast job just to make a sale of a car. Called them and they said there is nothing they can do about it. So now i am taking my business elsewhere. They are frauds when it comes to selling cars. read more

Run far far away. We came to look at their cars for sale and they wouldn't let us test drive them! Um...how do you sell cars if you won't let people test drive them?!? The guy said it would be too hard to move a couple other cars to get it out. We finally got him to at least start the engine and when it made a horrendous noise he said, "Well, that's because the car has been sitting for a few days." Ah. I see. Yeah, most of the cars I've owned make a noise like that after "sitting for a few days." After that they just wanted us to leave--wait, aren't we the customer??? The worst experience in car buying, I wanted affordable prices so I decided to buy from a small dealer and it was the worst decision I could have made. I got a 2006 Nissan Maxima that gave me nothing but mechanical problems and they swear that all their vehicles are in good conditions and even after numerous times of telling them I had issues with the car they waited for their "3 month" warranty" so that they are no longer responsible! It's best to stick to big dealership that offer far more benefits even on used cars than this horrible place! Do not think about purchasing vehicles from here, they will rip you off and you will end paying monthly payments on a car that's not in good working conditions. read more

Most vehicles are overpriced and and not in the best conditions. All the vehicles we went to check out were severely scuffed and looked completely different than online. I didn't feel like the man who was helping us was being honest. I feel as if most cars are priced for excellent condition when In reality are far from it. 3 cars we specifically went to see were priced 1-3k over other dealers and KBB Value. Be sure to have an expert mechanic of your own check and drive your vehicle before the "warranty" runs out. Stay on top of them because they will forget I'm still waiting on plates because they've yet to register my vehicle...beware of this place Rubi is pusher and doesn't think of the customer edi is also...didn't get my car fully fixed til they threaten by me to call the better business buearu the owner finally got involved had the head gasket replaced water pump exhuast and idk what else but I did send my brother to look under the hood for me. This is my first time ever writing a yelp review but this place really fucked me over. I went here after finding a car online that seemed to have good Carfax history and decent mileage for its age. I have to admit, the entire process from looking at the car, to meeting with Rubi went very well and she comes off as very charming and nice. We negotiated a deal that seemed very reasonable at the time and I was very excited to drive off the lot in my first car. Rubi even told me that if anything happens, to give her a call so she could help me out. I brought it to a Subaru dealership to have it checked out just to see if there were any minor things that needed tuning up and they found out that the head gasket was leaking oil and they estimated a $3400 repair plus needing new rear struts adding another $840 on top of that. I called Rubi since I really did not know what to do. I told her about the situation and she said that she'd talk to her boss and would call me back. She never ended up calling back. I called her two more times and the first time she said that the boss had just left (which seemed suspect) and the second time she said that she'd talk to the mechanics and call me back to have it brought in and looked at. I figured she wouldn't call back so I brought the car into a local mechanic that I trusted and he's going to be able to do the repair for much less than what the Subaru dealership quoted (no big surprise but I'm still not happy about the situation). I'm fortunate enough to be able to go through with the repair and I'll have a decent car at the end of this but if I didn't have extra money to spend on an expensive repair I would be completely out of luck. Rubi seemed nice in person, but in retrospect it was probably just a persona to sell me the car. Upon reviewing the Carfax again, the car still seems to be in decent shape except for the head gasket but it became apparent that the previous owner of the car probably sold it knowing that it needed this expensive repair and didn't want to deal with it. Since this is a common car problem, I don't see why they wouldn't have known about this at Starline. Rubi's avoidance to help me out really made it seem that they sold it to me knowing about its problems. We were initially impressed with the customer service at this dealership and even remarked how we may bring my younger brother here when he's looking for his first car but I can now tell you that it was all a facade. read more

This car dealership is the worst! I bought my very first car from them. The first thing that gave me a funny feeling about them is when I went there to finalize the paperwork for my car and my sister was with me and she was checking out their cars. We noticed a pretty nice car but then one of the workers tells us we don't that car. I asked him why and he told me that it says it has a low mileage but it actually has a high mileage. After that I went into the office to finish the paperwork. I asked the owner about warrenty while I was filling out the paperwork but he said it was too late. Thinking back to it now I should have just walked out then and there but I was young and uninformed. Six months later I start finding out about all these problems my car had. I really regret not getting the warranty for it, but most of all I really regret ever going to Starline Motors. Bottome line, if you want to spend extra money on repairs for a crappy car then Starline Motors is for you, but if you want a decent car without major problems, look elsewhere. read more

I'm not sure how this dealership has three stars... Bad at returning calls, no respect for the property you bought, and fairly shady. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because they honored their online price. I bought a used car for a decent price (cash) but that's when things went downhill fast. I received the 50/50 warranty which covers all engine components as well as all lubricated parts. Within 100 miles I had a problem with a lubricated part and the dealership stated it wasn't covered, I made the replacements myself. The shifter knob on the car was missing and the dealership agreed to replace it. Cool. When the part came in I drove down to have it installed and an hour later I returned to a used part missing half the pieces. The mechanic that replaced the knob left grease all over the floor and seat of the car and told me that it's ok to be missing a part. We settled via cash for the missing piece but the car was still left filthy. Finally... the dealership put a back license plate on the car when I took it for the shifter repair but neglected the front plate. I had to call multiple times and then the CA DMV. Finally I threaten the dealership with theft before they would send out the plate. read more

We just purchased a 2005 F150 from them and I can say we are incredibly lucky to have bought it from them. I'd recommend this dealership to anyone. They treat you like a human being and a regular person. They are respectful, laid back, and zero hassle. Not once did we feel pressured or pushed. I am highly impressed with them sales wise. Now when it comes to the actual vehicle we purchased, I am blown away. There was some minor issues with the truck and they took responsibility and fixed everything. We did not expect them to do it because they're a small dealership and we had already signed all the documents for the car but they really went above and beyond our expectations. I couldn't thank them enough for their awesome service and one of a kind family environment. I know a lot of people walk into a dealer like that and expect the treatment you get at a huge dealership but this isn't the same and people need to get that straight. These guys treated us like family. That's what made us make this purchase. They work with integrity and they're a dealer who will make your purchase worth it if you treat them with respect as well.
