They are not cheap and frequently there would be equipment not working etc so I'm not getting the full value for my dollars spent. I wanted a self-service style and after some searching around I found Washoe Wash. I was very pleased with the experience here. The facility is clean and everything works! The water is heated (score!) and there are a wide range of options to select from (rinse, soap, wax, engine cleaner etc). Pricing is very fair ($4 for the first 3 1/2 minutes then buck a minute to extend. There's ample parking to towel off the car, or they have a high powered air blaster thingy if that's your jam. I also saw an automatic touches full-wash machine in one of the bays. This will be my go-to place of business for winter car washes!

One of my favorite things about this location is that it's almost never crowded. I don't feel rushed, I can take my time, and everything is always working properly. The equipment is reliable, the space feels clean, and I always feel safe while I'm there. The best part though? They play music and it's actually good music. It makes the whole experience way more fun than you'd expect from a car wash. It's in a convenient location, it's affordable, and I can usually get my entire car done for $10 or less. While I occasionally go to the full service places, I honestly prefer doing it myself. There's something really calming and satisfying about it.

They had glass cleaner and I think a spray for interior to wipe down as well along with dash wipes. Lots of options which is really nice. I am a member of Sierra Car Wash's monthly program, although their machines are starting to age, some of their employees seem like they don't want to work or be there and do a terrible job. So I was happy to see this place at about the same cost, with a much better and longer tunnel, longer wash time, all indoors, and also an area where someone could help you drive the car if needed. We are both getting too old for that dance. I checked out my options here on Yelp and chose this one. I wasted a few dollars at the beginning due to operator error aka not being smarter than the machine... I had to motion to the attendant for help, since my dog was already in the tub. Basically, just turn the knob on the blue rectangle next to the tub. I was pushing buttons (that weren't really buttons) and trying to enter numbers on the place where you pay. After I knew the procedure, it went really smoothly. Isabella was surprisingly ok with the whole process. Of course, there is a little chain to attach her collar (and her) to the wall and securely in the tub... so there was that... I spent most of my money on the drying portion. She is a mix of Black Lab and Belgian Shepherd and has a "double coat" and extra long hair. It wasn't the fault of the dryer; this was the most dry she has ever been after a wash. She was really clean and smelling good... and my back was feeling fine. They even include the shampoo, conditioner, etc. It is a good DYI service for a great price. We are returning later this next week.

I was able to clean my windshield with a paper towel and some windex, so there was absolutely no reason my windshield should have remained filthy. The windows are streaky, the dash board was only half wiped down. The doors were wiped with so much solution that it dripped all over the inside door frame. There is still a bunch of dust everywhere.
