After getting home, I reviewed the pricing on your website and realized the charges did not align with your posted rates. I was charged $230 for color for a basic, all-over brown, single-process service. There was nothing corrective, custom, or advanced about it. Your website clearly lists full color at $150, making this an unjustified $80 upcharge. I was also charged $60 for a haircut that amounted to little more than a trim, despite your website listing haircuts at $55. Even worse, the haircut itself was poorly executed. The stylist did not use straight shears at all and relied exclusively on thinning shears at the ends, leaving my hair uneven, wispy, and visibly damaged. The result looks unprofessional and careless--my hair genuinely looked better before the appointment. I contacted the salon directly to give them the opportunity to address this privately and resolve the issue. They chose not to respond. That lack of professionalism and accountability is extremely concerning, especially given the clear discrepancy between the pricing charged and the pricing advertised. Between the inflated charges, the substandard quality of the work, and the complete lack of response, I was overcharged by $85 for a service that fell far below acceptable standards. This experience reflects deceptive pricing practices and a disregard for customer satisfaction. I would strongly caution others to verify pricing and think carefully before booking.

As a person that feels lots of anxiety when changing her hairstyle, Daniel made it very comfortable for me. Only one stylist on site. 4 chairs and 4 mani/pedicure stations, but she told me since COVID, that side of the business went belly up. I don't believe there is any justification for the damages done to small businesses, but that's for another time and place. Neu Cut is just in a little pod of stores hiding around behind a MacDonalds. At 4pm on a Wednesday, like I said, easy in and out. I explained the length I wanted, a little banter about my hair's idiosyncrasies and in less than 15 min, I had the cut I wanted. Now, Yelp listed a man's haircut as being $9. Honestly, I haven't seen that price in decades. She charged me $15, so no big surprise, and we're good to go. I think maybe a good scrub down wouldn't hurt. There were scary dark areas under the counter. Spilled dye is one thing, but this stuff was either masses of black hair piled in the corners from way too many quick sweeps or a mold :o I didn't get down on my knees under the counter to check, so I'm going with hair piles. A vacuum or small broom and knee work would help a great deal. Other than the less than thorough detailed cleaning, there were no issues with Neu Cuts, and I have no problem recommending them.
