Came back for brunch and it's delicious! The Sausage gravy had a great balance and flavor. It was rich, and I didn't feel gross after. The food is so fresh and my friend loved her pot pie. This is a very small restaurant so tge waiter doesn't have far to go. Besides, the owner will also bring entrees to the table. This is one if the very few restaurants that serves oysters, yippee! Only street parking is available so don't drive over very hungry. We've always found metered parking easily or on the side streets. read more

This place is phenomenal! We had a lovely date night last night. Friends have been raving about Adour Bistro and I can see why. The owner checks on everybody to make sure that they are happy here. Service here is on point, and we wanted for nothing. We started with drinks, he had wine and I had an elderflower Spritz. For our appetizer we ordered the grilled octopus which was perfectly done. For dinner I had the PEI mussels in white wine and my date had duck confit. Both were superb. There was not a bad mussel in the bunch and his duck was absolutely delicious. The white wine sauce for the mussels was extremely tasty and the French fries were a hit. I rarely eat fries but these were a delight. We didn't stay for dessert because we still have so much left over at home due to the holidays. However, I am sure that we will be back and will enjoy even more at this phenomenal new restaurant. I wish them much success and I know that I will be a regular. There is nothing else quite like this around here and I'm glad that they have opened. If you're going, make sure to make a reservation. Celebrated my birthday today at Adour Bistro, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, the live music created a great atmosphere, and the service was warm and welcoming. A special touch was when George, the owner, took the time to share the history behind the restaurant's name, which made the experience even more memorable. Been there about a month or so ago ,was just waiting for a yelp page . Place is very cute and cozy , don't try any of the food yet but the drinks are good . I wish people were a bit more personable and friendly . I'm sure we will stop by at some point for some food and it would be a great experience if we felt more welcomed . Adour Bistro is truly a hidden gem in Bayonne, and if I had to rate it, this is hands down the #1 restaurant in town. There may be older, more upscale, and pricier establishments around, but for consistently excellent food and drinks, this is the place to be. The dishes are always cooked to perfection, the cocktails are creative and expertly crafted, and the atmosphere is both friendly and relaxed. We've tried almost everything on the menu and have never once been disappointed. Chef Andrew is outstanding--we feel so lucky to have his talent here. And George's cocktails? Absolutely spot-on. (Fun fact: he even makes his own limoncello for the lemon spritz!) Just to give you a taste of our most recent visit: we enjoyed an Italian Manhattan, a watermelon martini, syrniki (farmer's cheese pancakes), blintzes, and steak & eggs. Everything was flawless. This place is a gem. They haven't been open long. It's a cozy place with pleasant ambiance - love the lamps they have on the tables. They have a bar in the back - not big - three seats. They have an outstanding menu. The owner and servers are very friendly and helpful. My brother and I took our mother out to dinner. We had the Cauliflower Flore and the Fritto Misto to start. For dinner we had the Duck Confit, Ratatouille with Goat Cheese and the Hanger Steak with Chimichurri sauce. We also had deserts. We really enjoyed ourselves and we will be back. read more

Another great meal last evening. When my brother comes to visit from Nashville he wants dinner at Adour Bistro. Started with goat cheese croquette with beets and both of us had hanger steak. Drinks were reasonably priced and the owner always makes us feel welcomed. read more

A new gem in Bayonne! We have had the chicken stroganoff pot pie, the hanger steak, duck confit, ratatouille, mussels and more. Everything is done to perfection. The service is delightful. They pay attention to every detail. The orders are beautifully presented. Waiter Ruddy is excellent making sure everyone has what they need. The place is small and tastefully decorated. The prices are reasonable and the portions are perfect. This is just what Bayonne needs. I recommend a reservation. read more

What a lovely surprise right in my own backyard. Walking into Adour you can't help but feel the warm, cozy atmosphere, very inviting. Our waiter was attentive, friendly and had some very good suggestions and we listened and we were not sorry we did. He was right on the money! One of the entrees we were interested in was not available, but the replacement turned out to be excellent. We tried two appetizers that were very unique and delicious. All of our meals were also delicious. We had a wonderful meal in a lovely restaurant. Looking forward to trying something different next time, there will be a next time. I've enjoyed thoroughly every dining experience I've had at Adour. Love the atmosphere. The Adour salad is an excellent appetizer. On my first visit I had a linguini dish with the best creamy mushroom sauce, so delicious I went back for it the following week. It's a seasonal dish, now off the menu but will appear again soon. Mussels were delicious - in a white wine sauce with onion rather than loaded with garlic. The pork ribs (without apple chutney) were "melt-in-your-mouth", and the accompanying polenta was the best I've had. Last week they had boullabaise with linguini. Superb. A friend, who's very difficult to please restaurant-wise, loved the cauliflower topped with fresh parmesan cheese appetizer, and she praised the monkfish. Chocolate mousse is my favorite dessert, so it's the only one I order. Bayonne truly needed a place like Adour! Service was excellent on every occasion, and "George" made his rounds each time to ask if we were enjoying our meal. Can't recommend it highly enough! read more
