He should do a Masterclass on proper sales techniques. I've purchased a 2007 Camry, upgraded to a 2009 Camry with Ben, a 2012 & 2018 at another Toyota location, but came back to purchase my current Camry from Ben because you never forget when a salesman makes you feel valued and helps you secure a good deal. Bejamin is a class act! Honorable mention to Tim Feldhaus for an excellent customer engagement follow-up experience.     I made appointment here at 8:45am got here early for my appointment about 10mins and waitied until…read moreNoon (3 plus hours) and still have not worked on my vehicle. Over 3 hours with appointment for Toyota care check up and oil change. Then I asked the front desk after waiting hours, ask a young lady about my status of the car and she gave me an additude and was not really helpful. I went to speak to adviser and he said another hour or so. Of course they did not find any issues. Even though my android auto keeps crashing and screen goes black while driving. I am going to have to reach out to Toyota directly and submit my proof and get this fixed. I can hear another customer complaining and they are trying so hard to upsale her on servcie when she is upset already. I ended up waiting over 6 hours even with appointment. Around 12pm they say I have wait another 2 hours more due to a glitch they just found out after hours of having my car. Hmmm... i ended up picking up my car around after 3pm total of over 6 hours of waiting to get a oil change is a bit much and then the front desk lady giving me an additude did not help with this review at all. Ridiculous. One star for the service guy being nice. Otherwise .negative star would be more like it. But, I can't justify the service here for my overall experience and don't want give a bad review. But have to be honest about reviews. I am very surprised because normally I had good experience here overall before. MAYBE A BAD visit. This is 2nd time babd experience in my last 2 visits. Hopefully this is not how it is here now. Went downhill in service and treatment towards customers.

Karim Boutine was a huge help when purchasing my last vehicle, super patient and personable and efficient. Eddie Calderon has always been pleasant on the service side of things. Helpful, accommodating. They are part of the Costco Auto Program, which comes in clutch. I love that they have such a great selection of cars. Some other dealerships have a small inventory of available vehicles, but I have consistently enjoyed the many options here. I appreciate that they have a Starbucks on site, with a nearby seating area where I can work for a few hours and keep my laptop/phones juiced up. This location is down the street from a bunch of eateries, shops and other areas to visit if you need to kill time.

The Purchase was effortless and quick (took 30minutes or less to do the paperworks). Hertz gave me 7 days to return the vehicle in case I was not satisfied with it. Well, It's been a week now since owning the vehicle and so far everything's been running good without any issues. Happy to say we got a keeper! So it turns out that the vehicle we were interested in did not work out with the previous buyer who bought it impulsively. Sebastian kept in contact with me to let me know that the vehicle would be available for purchase again. Alejandro & Javier assisted me on the day of sale. Miguel, the manager, spoke with me personally and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Because of these guys, my faith has been restored. I recommend them and will for surely be buying a vehicle with Hertz again. Thank You so much fellas, keep up the good work!

I would advise purchasing the extended warranty, but they will lower the price with some pushback. As soon as I got home with my car, one of the headlamps was not working. Turns out to be a technician fault, as the connector plug was removed during the engine cleaning process before putting the car on the lot. Always ask questions for a full demonstration of all mechanical and electronic systems. These are fleet (rental) vehicles, so their history is unknown, but they do a good of servicing while in their possession. Once you purchase a vehicle, you'll be directed to a 3rd party provider for service. They won't tell you this until you have an issues and request support. I'm not disappointed with the vehicle, but honest up-front should be a priority.

Three…read moreyears ago, I leased a car through South Bay Mazda (partially because of their great reviews) and walked away with a nice experience and a Mazda lease for a CX-30. The car has been wonderful and mostly my dealings with South Bay (getting the car serviced) have been pleasant. My lease is coming to an end so I started looking into my options. I decided I want to buy the car in full and had the dealership calling, texting, and emailing me asking me to come in to go over my options together so I made an appointment with Eddie. It was frustrating that I had several different salesmen calling and texting me to come in, I just picked the person who reached out first. I go in and have my appointment with Eddie, promptly tell him I want to buy the car in full, and I want an itemized list of fees. I knew to be prepared to be overcharged, however, Eddie came back with a quote for $5,000 over the residual value of my car (as written in my lease) and could not tell me what those fees were even for. He said he couldn't take them off and if I wanted to buy from Mazda itself, I had to go through a dealership (South Bay), because Mazda would not sell to me directly. He told me to call them that day, that they would tell me the same. I was floored. Eddie lied to me, several times. Mazda's customer service line was closed (it was a Sunday) and when I left and did more research, I found out I not only can buy directly through Mazda Financial Services, but also at the residual price that was given in my lease. MFS was very angry that South Bay lied to me, while also trying to overcharge me $5,000. I know dealerships don't make any money off me buying my car outright after the lease. But the way I was treated was shameful and offensive, and as a loyal customer I would have expected better customer service. I will never trust South Bay with my business ever again.

I informed him that I had an appointment in the afternoon to look at a used Q5 at another Audi dealership. He asked about it and understood that other than rims was the same exact vehicle I was looking at just with higher mileage and a lower price. He asked what I was looking for in price and then said said that's not unreasonable at all and I will talk to my manager and have no problem getting you that price, but you should come look at this one first. I agreed and made an appointment. I messaged him that I had something come up and would be late to our appointment. I then called him before I left to confirm the time would still work and the vehicle was still waiting for me before making the hour plus trip to the dealership. He confirmed and said Ill see you as soon as you get here. I then received a call from him 45 minutes later saying he was sorry, but the car was just sold, and that a colleague was working a deal on the car and they just "shook hands" on a deal. Enraged I said "Are you kidding me". You confirmed before I left and are calling me 15 minutes before arriving to tell me this and didn't even hold the car for me while I drove there. His response was, "Well I could have just waited until you got her and told you, but I'm calling you to let you know". Also that it was Illegal to hold a car for someone in California if it was advertised. If that were true how and why does CarMax do it? He then said "Well you're almost here and I have a few options in black that I can get for you". The worst part is I sold cars for a number of years and sales people like this are the reason why car sales people have the stereotype of being sleezy and dishonest. Rather than trying to push me toward whatever was easiest for them, they actually listened and found me the exact vehicle I wanted. The pricing discussion was straightforward and transparent. No games, no "let me talk to my manager" runaround, no mysterious markups justified by vague claims about "high demand." Just honest, professional service and fair pricing that made sense. What really stood out was being treated with respect throughout the entire process. They understood I was an informed buyer who had done my research, and they responded with the kind of honest, professional approach that earns long-term customers rather than one-time sales. I had to take my car in frequently for service checks where they charge me hundreds and hundreds of dollars for basic service oil changes. It honestly feels like such a rip off every single time. It also costs so much time out of your day. My last service surpassed a thousand dollars just for some fluid changes and they told me they would drive the car up for me. So I waited outside for my car. He took my car fob, then turned around and handed me back the fob because he changed his mind. He just pointed at my car in the other parking lot and said "there it is, it's over there" so I had to walk to the other lot with my stroller and fussy toddler in my arms to get the car myself. Really fake customer service here. They just want your money. For the amount of money I spent, they couldn't even help me a little bit by driving the car up. Ridiculous.

As we were walking outside towards the parking lot, we ran into Christy Saephan. She didn't approach us, just simply asked if we were helped or needed any? We told her, no thank you! Just looking around. And she went on to finish what she was in the middle of. She then approached us again a little afterwards with enthusiasm and hospitality. As a first time buyer, I'd say she made my first time experience worth remembering and very meaningful. She made sure I had understanding of my options, didn't really feel that strong salesman pressure most sales reps do. I voiced what I was looking for and how I felt as a first time buyer and she went out of her way to help me as best as she could. She didn't give up. She was taking her time and showing me a few other options I could do when in that moment we ran into what felt like a blessing in disguise moment. She went out of her way every chance she could, to help and attend me. Apart from this, it was her day off! She was dedicated on making sure I left that day genuinely satisfied. On a day she wasn't supposed to be on the clock! All the way through the whole process, Christy and the members that helped along the process were attentive and professionally kind.
