    Don't waste your time. Some think they have a good selection, well if you are not picky at all before dropping 60K on a car or more, you might want to rethink that. I called them and told them what I wanted and the color and did they have it. I was told yes and also told to ask for someone whose name now escapes me, as he was not memorable. "Oh, you really wanted that color, ya, we don't have it." I was not pleased and he knew it and ignored me --my car-- and tried to tell my husband that he had great other ones. Now, it was bad enough that they park their own cars in the Handicapped spots, which is just so rude, I had to walk and walk to get there to find out they did not have even close to what I wanted. My husband was asking about the price for one car and he was told we really don't discount off sticker much at all. We bought one, elsewhere, same day, and got the discount I wanted-it is called going into their "hold". This salesman knew little about the hybrids and his guesses were driving me nuts. I will never go back there. They are not honest.

    his review is regarding the Outstanding Service I received from my client advisor, Sara Santos today at South Bay BMW. We all know how stressful and tedious going to a dealership can be especially if you are purchasing a vehicle. You end up being there for hours. I have purchased many luxury cars in my lifetime and have been to numerous luxury dealers (ie) Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Tesla, Lucid etc. Today, I made an appointment to test drive a IX EV at South Bay BMW. I made the appointment at 10am. I was greeted by Sara with her great smile and enthusiasm. I could tell she loved her job and genuinely cared for her customers. She immediately showed me her "10 Second Likeability" through her behavior when greeting me. This was refreshing because as we all know, some advisors at dealerships are not genuine, warm, kind, motivated and enthusiastic at their jobs and rush you because they have another appointment and/or know you are not a serious buyer. And the worse is when they pose the "fake smile" on you. Sarah was just the opposite. Sarah was very thorough in going over the IX first before I test drove it. She was great at explaining everything about the IX and answering all of my questions. At no time during my visit did I feel rushed. Sarah was so accommodating caring for my needs and questions about the vehicle. After the test drive, I informed her that I was interested in the vehicle and that I had other appointments at 2 other BMW dealers later that day. We went inside and negotiated the purchase of the IX. We came to terms and I ended up purchasing the IX. I was at the dealership for 6.5 hours, but it did not feel like it because of Sarah and her excellent interpersonal skills and again, her warm, kind and caring personality. I went to the finance office and met Kyle. Kyle was also great to work with. He made the paperwork quick, seamless, effortless and efficient with NO pressure like most other finance offices you go to at dealerships. We then went into the IX and spent well over 1.5 hours going over the entire vehicle. Sarah is very knowledgeable and informed on BMW's, the IX and the new iDrive 8.5 infotainment system. There is so much to know and learn. Again, Sarah took her time, did not rush, did not look at her cell phone and did not hand me over to another advisor because she had another appointments. As a matter of fact, she had 2 other appointments who she asked her co-workers to help those customers so she could stay focused with me. I appreciated that. After we completed this, I informed Sarah that my wife was out of town and inquired if I could come back in a day or two to pick up my IX and leave it on the lot. She offered to drive the IX and follow me to my home and UBER back to work. I live in Orange County so that takes well over an hour and a half out of her time at work. This was a huge burden off my shoulder by not having to come back the next day to pick up the IX. Great Service to offer this. We drove to my home. Even after dropping off the car at my home, Sarah's service continued. She took screenshots of how the Navigation works in the IX, text them to me and explained what each photo was and also took the time to answer a few more questions I had about the vehicle as she waved off her UBER driver and made him wait a few minutes while she answered my questions. Other Advisors would have said, "My UBER's here, call or email me if you have any questions". As she left, she provided me her direct phone number where I can text or call her anytime with questions. She left my home 7 hours after I met her with the same warm, enthusiastic smile and grace as when I met her at 10am. If you are in the market to purchase a BMW, go to South Bay BMW, make an appointment and/or ask for Sara Santos. She will make the stereotypical negative dealer customer experience disappear because of her knowledge, outstanding service, experience and personality with no pressure. Thought I would share my positive experience today with Sarah and South Bay BMW purchasing my new IX.

    Mr. Stephen Green has consistently gone above and beyond for my family, and we are truly, infinitely grateful for his help. My father has purchased from him before and had an equally strong experience. On May 21, my mother and I met with Stephen at South Bay BMW to discuss leasing options for me, as I had just given up the Jeep I had for four years. I knew it was time for me to get a fully electric vehicle, and I knew there would be a lot of compromises I'd have to make. We test-drove and looked around for quite some time. Mr. Green noticed I had been eyeing a certain model out front and said he might have an option on the roof that I would like. There, I saw my car. I did not expect to find something so perfect for me. The finance portion was very easy. Mr. Green makes sure to complete what he can ahead of time in order to make the process as painless as possible. I brought my BMW i4 xDrive40 M Sport home the next morning. At the end of it all, I didn't have to make any compromises. My car is spacious, stylish, safe, cost-effective, and a dream come true. Mr. Peter Hernandez (BMW Genius) was also extremely helpful and personable. Before I left with my new car, he walked me through all its amenities and pairing features (free of charge). He knows everything about everything. In less than 20 minutes, I felt completely comfortable and familiar with all the functions my car has to offer. Thank you both! Thank you, South Bay BMW!

    This BMW dealer is one building that is shared by the new car, used car, and Mini sales people. It did feel just a bit cramped both inside, and in the parking lot, but I was happy to find that their cafe serves free coffee to customers. It was all a pretty quick process too. The only super odd thing was that they do not accept checks of any form. If you're paying cash, you will have to wire in the funds. And if you're trying to avoid having your credit run, ask days in advance if there's any payment options that won't require a run on your credit. I'm not sure that there are, but definitely ask. Aside from that, everyone was very friendly and professional. SARA SANTOS was who assisted me starting with the initial emails, then meeting me at the receptionist desk for our appointment, and finishing up by installing my temporary license plate. She was great, and she's a real car enthusiast, so if you're coming to this little dealer, you definitely wanna work with her! It is always best to set up an appointment of course, and it's also best to be her first appointment right when they open. Her direct line is #310-939-7300. I was specifically looking for a 5 year old BMW in one certain color, and this dealership had it posted on Cars.com, and Carfax. And on Carfax's website, you get a free Carfax report for the vehicle you've searched. Not every high end brand dealer will sell vehicles older than 3 or 4 years, so I was surprised and ecstatic to find this one at an actual BMW dealership. It's a real weight off your shoulders when you're buying a pre-owned vehicle at a legit dealer, over some random stranger privately selling it in who knows what condition. Overall my experience was very good. I just wish I could have used my personal check that I had brought with me.

    I came in to get my dad's car oil changed and Darryl was fantastic with the service side of things and it went really smoothly. Later on I inquired about having to get the same car upgraded and that's when I spoke with Mr Green. Huge shout out to this guy who made things possible for my dad. Along side with Junior, they did my dad a good one. Sam from finance was of great help too in making sure we had the right plans for the car incase things were to happen. I'm really happy with how things came out to be and we will most definitely be back. Their professionalism and care is something that can't be overlooked and we appreciate them for that.     UPDATE ~3 weeks after making this review, still have not been contacted by Alex Marouf to discuss his sales tactics and what they are going to do about this. Guess I will need to push it further up the chain of command -- which I'm happy to do. Already made a google review. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. "Bought a vehicle in Nov. 2025. At the time of sale, I was issued temporary tags with the understanding that my permanent license plates and official titling documentation would be processed and delivered within the standard timeframe. However, I have yet to receive any such materials, nor have I been provided with clear communication or updates regarding the status of my registration or if they even submitted such information to the DMV in the first place. You can go on the CA DMV website and search the plate # in the picture which returns nothing. They have yet to produce any evidence they submitted transfer of title/registration information to DMV. Additionally, I was sold a BMW Ultimate Protection plan under the explicit representation that it would cover certain repairs and services. Based on those assurances, I agreed to the added cost. I have since learned that several of the items I was told would be covered are, in fact, excluded from the plan. This discrepancy suggests that the product was misrepresented at the point of sale, which is unacceptable." Since writing this review on Google last week, I was contacted via phone by a Finance director? stating that the finance manager who sold me the car and upsold the protection plans -- Alex Marouf -- would be in contact with me which has yet to happen. Additionally would like to note that if you deal with this specific salesman, he will reiterate he is not "upselling you" over and over. After declining his multiple proposals for the BMW protection plan and coming back with "I am not upselling you but if I include this and that...blah blah blah" -- I finally agreed to add the coverage when he mentioned he could include things like windshield replacement (live in a rock heavy area and is what really sold me) and wheel replacement due to curb rash, etc. AND made it seem like the dealership had credits? of some sort to add these protections to the base BMW protection plan. He made it seem like he was doing me a solid HOWEVER, having since cracked a windshield I have learned I do not have these coverages I was sold, including the cosmetic wheel replacement. Do not spend your money here. Or at least he weary of Alex Marouf's sales tactics and get anything in writing that he is or isn't "upselling" you on coverages, etc.

    I recently bought a car here--a Mini JCW--and I love it. Even though it's pre-owned, it's in excellent condition and comes with a warranty. The salesperson, Sara, was fantastic; she accompanied me on test drives for several cars and was incredibly enthusiastic and patient in explaining every detail and feature. If you're looking to buy a car, ask for Sara!

    Further to my last review on this business, I felt compelled to update my experience. I got an instant response from Hudson W on my public review in this public forum saying they are 'very disappointed and they will make this right'.' I was asked to email this person. I did just that and got a reply from Hudson Wallbank asking which McKenna dealership I had my issue with. I guess they couldn't read the title of my review. I responded and since followed up. Nothing but crickets back. Do not even drive past this dealership. It's clear they don't care about you as a customer.

    My X3 was due for an oil change, so I made an online appointment for service. Arrived to the dealership and after a very short wait was assigned Graciano Perez as my service advisor. He quickly got my information and led me to his desk. Since I use a cane to assist my walking, he walked with me showing me the safest route to avoid slip and falls. I received a complimentary cup of coffee from their coffee shop. The barista quickly helped me and assisted me in carrying the hot cup of coffee to my seat in the waiting lounge. I was thrilled at the service and fast oil change service. They also checked my tire pressure and changed the cabin air filter and replaced the battery in the key fob. I will continue bringing my vehicles in for maintenance.

    I definitely recommend Sara to sell you your car, she explained everything in detail and was very patient with us, I felt very comfortable and taken care of, it was a very easy process and I love my new car, all thanks to Sara!

    Outstanding car dealership experience! A+++++ I've been a loyal client of SOUTHBAY BMW/MINI since 2009. I recently leased a new 2026 X1 in Black Sapphire and can honestly say, the entire team from the Sales Manager (Brad) to the Sales Director (Rubin) to Will my sales associate, along with the finance team, were par excellence! If I had experienced her behavior before going, I would have never stepped foot into this dealership.

Thank you so much for being very responsive to my questions and transparent with pricing! I am very happy with the service you provided and I would be happy to recommend you to anyone I know who is looking to buy a car in the future. Kenia is one of the Internet Managers at the Manhattan Beach Toyota dealership and I was mainly communicating with her through text messages. I found her through an affiliate website. Right away she was very responsive in answering me. No BS, no games. She told me the car I wanted was out of stock but she would let me know when it was available. It took a few weeks but she helped me find the car that I was looking for instead of just trying to sell me one that was currently available on their lot. When I came in for a test drive she did not rush me. I felt no pressure at all as I was walking around the car. After all the paperwork was signed, instead of just giving me the keys to drive off, Kenia took the time to show me all the features of the car. For months I had reached out to many dealerships within a 100 mile radius asking for out the door pricing. Some dealerships wanted me to make a deposit upfront, others tried to push options I did not want and refused to remove them when i asked. Most dealerships would stop communication if they did not have what I was asking for. It was like pulling teeth trying to get transparent numbers with other dealers. Kenia really stood out because there was no hesitation with providing the final out the door pricing, and it still beat out most of the competition. Everything she presented was clearly laid out when I asked her to break it down. If you are buying a new car, make sure to do your research! Know what you want, get comparables from other dealerships, and do not rush. Be patient! If you do find the Toyota you are looking for at a different dealership, I would still recommend giving Manhattan Beach Toyota a call and give them a chance to earn your business. Well, It's been a week now since owning the vehicle and so far everything's been running good without any issues. Happy to say we got a keeper! So it turns out that the vehicle we were interested in did not work out with the previous buyer who bought it impulsively. Sebastian kept in contact with me to let me know that the vehicle would be available for purchase again. Alejandro & Javier assisted me on the day of sale. Miguel, the manager, spoke with me personally and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Because of these guys, my faith has been restored. I would advise purchasing the extended warranty, but they will lower the price with some pushback. As soon as I got home with my car, one of the headlamps was not working. Turns out to be a technician fault, as the connector plug was removed during the engine cleaning process before putting the car on the lot. Always ask questions for a full demonstration of all mechanical and electronic systems. These are fleet (rental) vehicles, so their history is unknown, but they do a good of servicing while in their possession. Once you purchase a vehicle, you'll be directed to a 3rd party provider for service. They won't tell you this until you have an issues and request support. I'm not disappointed with the vehicle, but honest up-front should be a priority.

They tried to upsell me on getting a 15k mile check and I declined, came with cabin air filter, engine air filter, etc. I can do that on my own. So, today, the very next day Tuesday, June 23. I changed my cabin air filter. I'm about to change my engine air filter and when I open the engine bay, I'm shocked to see oil sprayed everywhere... I found the issue, do you see it? The mechanic didn't put the dip-stick all the way back... THANK GOD I checked the next day! So, that'll be my last time going there. I'd recommend going to Harbor Hyundai. It only took 3 hours for the same maintenance (w/ recalls). I left my car at 8am at South Bay Hyundai and at 2pm it wasn't done, even though I saw it just sitting in the back lot, no call or anything. UPDATE: They didn't even use the right oil. My Santa Fe XRT is supposed to be 0W-30. The sticker says 5W-20
