Over 3 hours with appointment for Toyota care check up and oil change. Then I asked the front desk after waiting hours, ask a young lady about my status of the car and she gave me an additude and was not really helpful. I went to speak to adviser and he said another hour or so. Of course they did not find any issues. Even though my android auto keeps crashing and screen goes black while driving. I am going to have to reach out to Toyota directly and submit my proof and get this fixed. I can hear another customer complaining and they are trying so hard to upsale her on servcie when she is upset already. I ended up waiting over 6 hours even with appointment. Around 12pm they say I have wait another 2 hours more due to a glitch they just found out after hours of having my car. Hmmm... i ended up picking up my car around after 3pm total of over 6 hours of waiting to get a oil change is a bit much and then the front desk lady giving me an additude did not help with this review at all. Ridiculous. One star for the service guy being nice. Otherwise .negative star would be more like it. But, I can't justify the service here for my overall experience and don't want give a bad review. But have to be honest about reviews. I am very surprised because normally I had good experience here overall before. MAYBE A BAD visit. This is 2nd time babd experience in my last 2 visits. Hopefully this is not how it is here now. Went downhill in service and treatment towards customers.

They even did a full inspection and cleaning (including a full engine bay clean and diagnostic check) to really see what was going on so they could give me honest and accurate recommendations. The pricing was more than fair! Especially as a woman! I really appreciated how genuine and respectful they were. You don't always get that at other shops, but here I felt completely taken care of and never overcharged. Chris took the time to break everything down for me, explaining what needed to be fixed first and what could wait, which I truly valued. Miguel Angel at the front desk was so kind and welcoming, and Yennie was a great host and took care of my car! I'm so happy with everything and will definitely be coming back this Friday to get the rest of the work done. This place honestly feels like home. My sister NEVER received a voicemail or text yesterday to let her know her car was ready, and now the shop is closed, so she's unable to pick it up. The person at the front desk should have known the shop was going to be closed today and should have given my sister a courtesy call before closing. Currently, my sister is noW having to rearrange her schedule and her work schedule to be able to pick up her car. ***Will update if and when this is resolved.

Purchasing the vehicle was an easy process. We offered full cash for the vehicle and asked if the price would be negotiable, there was little to no wiggle room, so we did half cash and half finance. Drove the vehicle home the same day. On Thanksgiving evening (on our way out) the transmission went out while on the freeway. Car was loaded with the entire family, had to get the car towed to the mechanic while Ubering to our destination. We spent a couple thousand dollars in fixing the transmission, and a few hundred bucks on the tow truck along with the uber on Thanksgiving night. We haven't driven the truck for even 1000 miles and already replaced the transmission, which gives this place a 1 star rating. We did not call when the transmission went out, didn't think we'd get any consideration since we were considered owners of the vehicle already. However, we called 1-week after they responded to our google review and until today, we have not received follow up. If a follow up is received, I will post an update. The entire family was friendly and helpful throughout the purchasing process. My conclusion on this experience: I purchased a used vehicle at Hawthorne Motors Express and the transmission went out 3 months after owning it. *we are proud owners of 2 previously owned vehicles, which were purchased from Enterprise Car Sales. I know where I'll be going for my next car.

I am very happy with the service you provided and I would be happy to recommend you to anyone I know who is looking to buy a car in the future. Kenia is one of the Internet Managers at the Manhattan Beach Toyota dealership and I was mainly communicating with her through text messages. I found her through an affiliate website. Right away she was very responsive in answering me. No BS, no games. She told me the car I wanted was out of stock but she would let me know when it was available. It took a few weeks but she helped me find the car that I was looking for instead of just trying to sell me one that was currently available on their lot. When I came in for a test drive she did not rush me. I felt no pressure at all as I was walking around the car. After all the paperwork was signed, instead of just giving me the keys to drive off, Kenia took the time to show me all the features of the car. For months I had reached out to many dealerships within a 100 mile radius asking for out the door pricing. Some dealerships wanted me to make a deposit upfront, others tried to push options I did not want and refused to remove them when i asked. Most dealerships would stop communication if they did not have what I was asking for. It was like pulling teeth trying to get transparent numbers with other dealers. Kenia really stood out because there was no hesitation with providing the final out the door pricing, and it still beat out most of the competition. Everything she presented was clearly laid out when I asked her to break it down. If you are buying a new car, make sure to do your research! Know what you want, get comparables from other dealerships, and do not rush. Be patient! If you do find the Toyota you are looking for at a different dealership, I would still recommend giving Manhattan Beach Toyota a call and give them a chance to earn your business. I didn't like the numbers, so they said they would "see what they could do." My parents and I then sat there waiting... and waiting... for about 40 minutes. We were the only customers in the dealership, and during that time, I could clearly see Mohammed and the other employee in the office talking and laughing, completely ignoring us. Eventually, we got up and left. What's even more surprising is that we walked right past them on the way out, and they didn't even acknowledge us or realize we were leaving. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience. We will definitely not be coming back. On a positive note, we went to Nissan Downey afterward and got an AMAZING deal and much better service.

And yet, when I got it back, it was completely violated: My seat covers were torn off the strap's were cut Both mirrors were tampered with and broken My visors were ripped off And worst of all, they cut off my steering wheel cover There was zero reason for anyone to be inside my vehicle. This wasn't part of any repair order. I had photo documentation of exactly how my car looked before it was taken to them -- so I know for a fact none of this damage existed before. They take no accountability for what happened and offered no explanation. It's clear they don't respect customers, their property, or professional boundaries. If your insurance suggests this place -- say no. You are not required to use their recommended shops. Protect yourself and your car. I repeat: STAY AWAY from this place.

I did not have a single missed call, and my voicemail worked fine. Then I left two messages for them and waited on hold for an hour before they disconnected me. NO ONE ANSWERED and no one called back. Horrible business.
