We sent him for in house training for 2 weeks and we couldn't believe the difference! She also changed his diet a little and added some aromatherapy spray for when he is in his high anxiety state. He used to be a total spaz around meal times. Now he waits, laying calmly for my "Break: command to eat his food. She is worth every penny....However, if you, the owner, are not willing to put in the work/time/love to truly follow through with all the things she sets up for the betterment of your dog, then you will fail your dog. It would be like hiring the Supernanny to come fix your children but then not follow through with any of her recommendations. Trust me when I say, when you get your dogs back to their own environment, they will try to regress - it takes consistency and effort to undo all of their usual behavior routines and they will test you. I will say that if you stick to it, really stick to it...it will pay off. We had workmen throughout the day this week - yard maintenance guys, pool guy, and a fridge repair man and Henry tried to do his normal thing but followed my pack leader commands and directions and gave into peace and relaxation. I f you have identified a problem with your dog that you want to fix, you owe it to them to do the work. Otherwise, you are setting them up for failure and you cannot blame the dog or Dianne. He was put in private time. How is that socializing a puppy? The reason I took him there was for socialization! I watched him most of the day in the cameras and I didn't see anything wrong. However, I did see a large dog on top of a smaller dog without supervision and I was told that was okay because they are siblings! I am sorry I wasted my money on such a horrible place. He fully owned the issues I had and followed up to help. They were able to find the toys (they had accidentally gone home with the wrong family, which I'm sure happens from time to time). I was offered a full refund and left the conversation with Raul expressing a sincere hope to improve my experience in the future. All that said I would try again at this location. ---------------------------------------------------- I went on a short weekend trip and brought my dog here for boarding. My dog is still learning and very over-stimulated by other dogs so we knew going into it we would be doing the private room boarding. We asked to see the room before we left and the staff member seemed hesitant to show us - I think maybe because they were still cleaning it up. The private room is just a concrete room the size of a larger closet, but we brought his dog bed and toys and stuff and didn't see an issue with it because it was way better than a kennel or something. Reasons for the low rating: - Lost toys: We dropped him off with a bag of food/treats, a dog bed, and a bag of his favorite toys (tug rope, football, 3 bones). When we picked him up, they had lost the bag of toys. We are a bit frustrated, as dog toys can be expensive. During the last day of his boarding, apparently our dog ripped up his dog bed to shreds. I am not blaming that on Mak Pack...my dog can be a little destructive especially if stressed or bored. But it did make me wonder if he had his toys with him in the room at any point. Since the toys were lost, maybe he didn't have anything to chew on and ended up ripping up his bed. - Poor communication. We were told we would get daily "pupdates". We dropped him off on Friday morning and did not hear anything until Saturday afternoon. Since this was his first time boarding, I reached out through the text number on their website multiple times and never got a response. The update we did finally get was very brief. He looked scared in the picture (which to be fair is expected) and the note said he was happy and getting lots of attention. I would have liked more detail - did he play with other dogs? did he behave? Is he eating normally? etc...I understand there are a lot of dogs so staff is probably busy but that communication would go a long way. - No bathroom - everything is indoor so there's no designated place to relieve themselves. In the private room they are let out about 4 times a day. When I picked him up on Sunday he immediately relieved himself outside as if he had been holding it in all day. I think most dogs would not want to go in the room they're sleeping in, especially if trained not to do that. We have friends over pretty often and Winston being his happy self would get way too excited and then jump on our friends, and then smother them on the sofa. We had to resort to physically holding him back with a harness. I'm 225lb and tall and he was still a handful. We decided to work with Towse because of all of their awesome reviews and after speaking with Eliza on the phone I knew he was in great hands! What they were able to do with Winston in two weeks of board and train is amazing! Winston is now able to sit, lay down, place (go lay down on his bed), as well as heel. Our biggest issue was the jumping and he no longer jumps on friends either. We had a lot of fun working with Nate and Eliza and even got to take Winston to Lowe's to train around all of the distractions which was awesome. Our tool of choice is the e-collar and slip leash. This combination makes it so you don't need to be constantly tugging or pulling your dog around physically to correct behaviors (like jumping). We recently had friends over and Winston is night and day different. He didn't jump on them and he calmed down much quicker than normal. We even took him on a 30 minute walk and he heeled the entire time. We've taken him to Lowe's numerous times on our own just for fun and to work around distractions. He's doing amazing. They got her to vet hospital and stayed with her until we could be reached and coordinated with. This is a total scam and they are liars --they just want money. This started back in August 2023…read morewhere I paid to board my older pup and a foster pup because they were not getting along, IB K9 said the boarding date would be about a month out. Long story short, the same night I had requested for a refund when we had to cancel one of our foster dog's boarding after she hurt my older pup. They promised to send my money back. They never did. My older pup got sick after boarding and didn't learn anything basically; they were super communicative until my dog was boarded, then afterwards I had to keep reaching out to ask how she was doing and I got basically one photo during the entire time she was boarded. After I got my older pup back she seemed really sick, severely skinny and when I brought her to her vet, they expressed heavy concern with the facilities because she was clearly weaker and sick and I ended up breaking down crying from feeling so bad for doing this to her. I never even requested a refund for the harm they did to my dog ; I only asked for a refund on the dog that was NEVER BOARDED. I posted a review on Google a few years back when it all happened and in late July 2026, they replied to my google review telling me to reach out via email, only to tell me they won't refund me and state that it's part of the signed contract, but there was no such contract and they are absolute liars. I filed a small claims which they ignored; you can see in the affidavit attached where they tried to ignore / refuse to open the door and accept the served papers. I am now also posting all my interaction with them to warn anyone who is thinking of taking their dogs here. So bottom line is, if you want to traumatize your pup, waste your money, or never get your money back this would be a good place.
