This restaurant was recommended to us by someone who works in the area so we gave it a try. My husband ordered the fish and shrimp plate with fries and okra. I had fresh collards, corn muffins and homemade mashed potatoes. Every bite was delicious. Season perfectly and not overcooked. We would have tried dessert but no room:-) This will be our go to place when we are in the area. Much more on the menu we want to try! I am so disappointed to be writing this review right now. We have been excited about this place being open in our area. We have been supporting this business since it opened. It has changed...and it hurts my feelings...today is a Sunday, and we walked up at 1:30 and were turned away. She said "SORRY, KITCHEN IS CLOSED". We are locals wanting to support local business. But y'all are not making it possible. One of our other local families showed up here and couldn't get served for over 30 minutes. They were ignored. We took up for y'all. I have wanted to check this place out for a while, and finally got the chance today. It is super new inside and very clean and the staff is super friendly! We went for lunch. It wasn't busy when we walked in but as we waited for our lunch, numerous patrons entered. They have a nice bar area with some interesting specials, it seems like it would be a great regular spot. I ordered the smoked wings and they were simply amazing, the best smoked wings I've ever had! They were huge and lightly smoked and then fried to crisp perfection! No breading needed as the skin was perfectly crisp and the light smoke flavor really exceeded my expectations. My wife ordered and enjoyed her burger which was seasoned nicely and cooked just as ordered. We will definitely be back to further explore the menu. 5/17/20. First week of restaurants open for indoor dining in SC. We were out for a drive and wanted a bite to eat for lunch. Saw this place on Hwy 17 so decided to give it a try. People were friendly and food was delicious. We had Philly cheesesteak, pulled pork and chicken sandwiches. All were served quickly and were a very pleasant surprise. Holy crap. I am genuinely amazed at how bad this was. We showed up for what turned out to be Sunday brunch. There was a table of about 10, and maybe a couple of other small tables with customers. The place was mostly empty. We were sat at a booth with a wonky table. After trying unsuccessfully to fold and pile enough coasters to even it out, our waitress informed us, "oh, that's the problem table," and offered to move us to another of the many empty tables (out of all the options, then, why did she sit us at "the problem table"?). Took our drink order (iced tea for my wife, house margarita for me). The tea arrived shortly thereafter, the margarita never did. After about 20 minutes, I cancelled the drink order. They took our food orders. My mac and cheese skillet arrived reasonably fast. We were told my wife's crab cake Benedict was still being made. It arrived perhaps 20 minutes later. Our waitress apologized for all the waiting. The rest of the staff (who were apparently much more interested in the baby at the next table than doing their jobs) seemed to have grown surly. To be fair, I took some friends the week they opened and they were still ironing out the wrinkles. The service was very slow. We all got the impression they really didn't want to serve us alcoholic drinks. We all had coleslaw and it had fermented! My friends were in no hurry to return and I have been back once since. This was our first dinner with Station 17 and hands down the experience and food are everything I want from a restaurant. The staff made sure my boyfriend and I always had cold drinks. We could see them constantly wiping down door handles and tables. It made me feel better to dine there. I had a margarita with dinner and it was mixed PERFECTLY! I'm so picky about my margs, but this one was on point. Now on to dinner: we started off with the appetizer sampler. I recommend that app if you're eating with more than 2 people, because it's a lot of food. I had the Adam's Run cheeseburger with fried okra. Y'all, so JUICY! They give you so much food that I couldn't even finish my meal. Just know that my tastebuds were extremely satisfied. Upside, it's fairly new, neat, clean and has a cute look! So sorry to say we had high hopes but the menu was very limited and it took 45 minutes to get our food when they were not that busy. Once we got it, it just wasn't good. Our Grandson got the chicken n waffles. He asked for an adult portion and she said no so we had to order 2 kids meals, but that's ok. I got the flounder. The fish was mostly hard breading with a thin sliver of frozen fish inside. My husband got the pork. The biscuit and pulled pork were cold and the hash browns were so greasy I tried to blot them on my napkin first. I asked for a side order of onions and didn't know they would could fried in breading too so... hmm leaving with that feeling of wishing we hadn't eaten what we just ate. We won't be back. read more

Worst service I have had in some time. Literally, 2 (two) only 2 other tables besides ours along with a large party on their way out. When we walked in we where told to seat ourselves and someone would be with us. So we did and we waited ... and waited ... and waited. Finally, I got up and grabbed menus for us. The bartender went and poured more water for the table across from us and they chit chatted and laughed for a second. In the meantime, we still waited. No water, no drinks, no waitress. Watched someone clear a table; some pour others water and there was whom we assumed was the waitress still standing at the computer/register from the time we came in. Apparently, more training if the staff is necessary. If I learned nothing else in my 15 years experience in the restaurant business, it's that no customer should be waiting in a near empty restaurant for 15+ minutes without at least water if you are expecting repeat customers. In the end we left hungry, thirsty, & tremendously disappointed. Mr Owner, don't know what the game plan is should you get really busy but if you intend on staying in business might I suggest more staff or more training. Folks walking out of your restaurant should be part of your business plan. On the plus side, Angel was open down the street. Might I suggest the beignets. read more

We were doing a drive by evaluation. This place is located along a highway that if you blink, you will miss it. The owner/ manager did come by after the meal to see how everything was. The fish was flounder... it was the best. The fish was very moist, tender and fell apart in your mouth. Corn pones or biscuits were sweet. The coleslaw was tangy and the odd stringy shape of the ingredients had a good mouth feel. The meatloaf was moist and had a few other veggies in the meatloaf. The meatloaf was covered with tomato paste. The mashed potatoes were fresh mashed potatoes which was a plus. The side salad had great ingredients, but the ranch dressing was not the best. Hopefully they will change it in the future. The chocolate seven tini was really good as well. The cleanliness of the facility's reflected great attention to detail. Since this place is new, I know that they are still building their establishment and food offerings. The restaurant has all the correct tools to succeed and they are well on their way. read more

We passed this place on Savannah Highway and so glad we stopped to check it out. It's clean, great environment, and the staff is very friendly. We ordered mini corn muffins and the house made eggrolls as appetizers. I had the seafood platter with onion rings and mac and cheese. My husband had the Adam's Run burger with egg, and his sides were fries and corn on the cob...and our son had chicken tenders, fries and mac and cheese. All of it was delicious and we had plenty to take home for another meal! We'll definitely be back! read more

It took one hour until we decided to leave...and may I point out that we were one of the few tables in there. I started to question the foods quality when the waitress didn't ask us several important questions about how we would like our food prepared. Someone at my table originally ordered a pulled pork sandwich and 45 minutes later our waitress came to our table to tell us that it would be another hour for pork. Instead of the pork we decided to order a burger and she never asked side options or how we wanted to burger to be cooked. I've never mad a review on a place before but this place needs a honest review. I came in at 12:30pm on a Wednesday and there were not many people in the restaurant. I was with my girlfriend and her mom and until 45 minutes sitting there, they felt the need to come and say that they are out of pork, so I'm guessing that for the last 45 minutes none of our meals are being cooked. I sat there for an hour and watched as others were handed their plates. Terrible service and lazy lazy workers. I cant say much about the food because after sitting for a hour on nachos, a chicken sandwich, and a shrimp po boy, we decided to leave. read more

Tried this place today at the recommendation of a friend. The atmosphere is nice and clean the bartender/waitress very friendly professional made you feel welcome. They were out of oysters which is what I wanted to try however it's really not the season for that I got the special which was barbecued chicken which was very good and the salad was good the green beans that came with it we are rubbery and I'm not sure how they cook them but it had a weird flavor I'm sure some people might like them they just weren't for me. I will definitely try this place again and try to get some of their seafood if you ever find yourself south of Ravenel on Highway 17 definitely check this place out read more
