My Valentine's. Look @ that flounder. It was amazing!!!

BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!!!! WDUP THO?!?!?!?! Godd to see y'all again. I had a reservation at poogan's porch but I got off work too late and missed it. So then I went to the Holiday inn riverfront. They need to go ahead and cancel that restaurant it is so bad. They are literally serving $2 pizzas. Theit Valentine's Day meal that you had to buy a whole bottle of wine with the package. No other meals were served. So if you do not drink wine it was tough chitlins. You cannot make this up. So driving down Savannah highway I remembered all the happy hours I used to go to and the buffets at trotters restaurant so we pulled in. They didn't have a crowd at all. I really miss the buffets here. You would get so much cool points with The girl you was trying to impress by bringing her hair. Their seafood buffets used to be out of this world. I will give anything to revisit that or for them to bring that back. They have the same old menu. So I was skeptical. Everything was pretty good I have to admit. They definitely save the evening for me. I was seconds away from two women looking at me super crazy. I must say, the whole fried flounder stole the show. It had my mother talking about it for three straight weeks. And I got to be honest it was season perfectly and perfectly fried. It looks so impressive on the plate. I forgot the waiter's name right to hang out with his nephew we were real cool friends. His nephew died maybe a year and a half ago. So what's good seeing him and we reminisce for a minute. We both look completely different each other Father time is undefeated. Lol. My chicken parmesan was excellent. I judged my chicken parmesan by the leftovers. If it is still good and still breaded 3 days later I call that perfection. Everyone left out with stomach foods. The food came fast also. I found out they still do buffets and I would definitely be back. Good to see there still going after all these years. They are definitely a staple of West Ashley. Thank you so much for saving the players life. Lol

This establishment is inside of the Town and country suite hotel. It's a buffet restaurant with an amazing omelet station I give this place a 10/10 a must try for breakfast. They do have a lunch and dinner option also Monday-Saturday

This restaurant was part of the Country Inn and Suites where we were staying. Upon checking at the hotel we got a $15 voucher for the restaurant since we booked direct with the hotel. You get one for each night you stay but they can only be used on specific days. We stopped in the restaurant upon our checkout. The restaurant is really lovely. The ceiling around the lights are recessed and have beautiful silver swirls that gives it a really classy feel. I could see it be used for special occasions or groups. They have a buffet section but it wasn't being used the day we were there. There are cloth napkins and the waitress was friendly. She brought us waters before taking our drink orders which then came quickly. The restaurant wasn't terribly crowded at 1030am on a Wednesday. The had 2 servers at the time. The waitress asked what we needed before the food came out and I got real syrup instead of sugar free and we got some orange marmalade. She brought it out and made a joke about "our apps". My husband had the Trotters Starter with eggs, hashbrowns, ham, and rye toast. I had French toast with toasted almonds on top. The food was good.

Historically a great breakfast, my family has been meeting here for their famous breakfast since the late 1960's

Amazing feast, served with southern hospitality and in true Charlestonian style. You just can't beat a Trotters Meal. My family has been meeting here since the 1960's for their breakfast feast. Welcome to the South, remember to try the Grits!

We usually don't hit up many hotel lobby restaurants, but went here after hearing some good reviews. It was fairly empty when we arrived and we were seated immediately. After looking over the menu I asked the waitress what her favorite meal is, and she recommended the fried chicken, rice and collard greens. She did not let me down, this was an excellent meal full of flavor. It was complemented with some phenomenal corn bread as well. This was a great surprise in how good it was, and helped turn our opinion about hotel lobby restaurants. We will be back next time we are in the area!

We ordered a vanilla cinnamon iced latte, a cappuccino, a smoothie, a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel, and a strawberry pop-tart, and every single item was outstanding- gluten free options too!!! The breakfast sandwich was perfect--flavorful, fresh, and served on a perfectly toasted everything bagel. The strawberry pop-tart was unreal, an elevated treat, and the drinks hit the spot. The iced latte had just the right balance of vanilla and cinnamon without being overly sweet, the cappuccino was expertly crafted, and the smoothie was incredibly refreshing. Beyond the food, the vibe here is immaculate. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the background music is great, and the workers are exceptionally friendly. It's the perfect place to kickstart your morning. We will definitely be back!

It is much more casual than I thought, with some of the menu (like bowls and salads) already made and ready to grab from the fridge. So happy we ended up staying because everything was fantastic. We ordered at the counter, grabbed drinks from the fridge and found a table on the side, covered patio. Food was brought out super quickly and it was absolutely delicious. I got the St. Philip pita, which was incredible and almost tasted like a halal cart chicken sandwich in the best way. It was so filling and so good. It came with a really tasty side salad. My fiance got the BLT which was just as great. I can see this being a really ideal space to bring my laptop and get some work done if I lived in the area. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a great, casual space for breakfast, lunch or coffees.

I ordered the peanut milk matcha, and my husband got one of their peanut milk coffee drinks. I really enjoyed the matcha. It had a subtle peanut butter flavor that made it feel unique without being overwhelming. It was definitely something different from the usual matcha latte and a fun thing to try. The café itself has a cozy, laid-back vibe. They also serve cocktails, which I wasn't expecting. While we were there, lots of people were ordering the shrimp toast and other food items from the café menu, all of which looked really good. It was busy but not overwhelmingly crowded, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. A great spot to grab a drink, people-watch, and take a break from exploring the city.

We came for breakfast and started with the banana bread with Nutella cream cheese -- absolutely incredible. We also split the cornmeal pancakes, which were so good we came back the next morning just to have them again. I ordered the B.E.C. with the home fries, and I can honestly say they may have been the best potatoes I've ever had in any form. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and they practically melted in my mouth. My husband had the turkey club and said it was fantastic as well. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and memorable. We loved it so much we went back the very next day. 10/10 -- highly recommend if you're visiting Charleston!

Our waiter was super busy & at times hard to flag down. He did a nice job of refills for the kids, but when the food came out, we literally had zero napkins and zero utensils. That is basic stuff- I shouldn't have to flag down people for when getting seated. I ended up finding another waiter who was helping to bring out our food and asking him for napkins and cutlery. The beignets here are not what you expect- think super mini ones versus the classic ones you get from Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans or other joints. We would have placed two orders of them except I knew the brunch plates would be big, and we wanted our kiddos to eat their meal before filling up on sweets. I got the Meeting plate- double portion of crab cakes on top of fried green tomatoes with grits and a huge buttermilk biscuit, where I didn't finish the biscuit and had one of our kids eat half of it. I was craving some fried green tomatoes but also wanted seafood so that worked out! My partner got the fried green tomatoes BLT and loved it. One of our kids got the chicken and waffles, another ate all of the fried chicken tenderloins, and our third really wanted buttermilk pancakes that were a hefty plate. No shortage of being hungry at this place! The food was good, but I would not say it was anything too different than any other brunch place-but for, the fried green tomatoes & other southern offerings like grits that you wouldn't get in other parts of the country. There are only two wash rooms, so there can be a wait especially when you have a long line of ladies waiting FYI. Prices are not too bad and standard for brunch so still an alternative when you are looking for fuel to fill up before doing your shopping on King's Street.
