a plate of food with eggs and potatoes

CASH ONLY. Very cozy yet spacious place right at the door. Staff is super friendly and helpful, I was really glad I brought my parents today, we had such a good experience. The waitress couldn't be nicer, I asked her what would she recommend and her recommendations were awesome. We had a Spinach Omelette and Eggs Benedict. House fries and hash browns. Everything was fresh and yummy! I would definitely recommend to friends and come back if I'm back in the area. I would only make a small suggestion though which would be for them to have 100% Pure Maple available, I was really bummed it wasn't, but other than that I have only good things to say.

I was so excited to see they had hashbrowns!....but sadly, they were not good. they came out crispy, but then oddly soaked with grease! My omelette was over down (see brown picture) and I ordered wheat toast and got this sad, small white toast. The waitresses were nice, but I think the place needs a good cleaning. The pepper shaker stuck to my hand, yikes! P.S. their hollandaise is fake i.e. powder, ick

Great food, great service! The location/signage doesn't do this place justice but we loved our breakfast served by a seasoned and kind server in a firehouse-themed spot. We'll for sure be back for the steak and eggs and breakfast quesadillas.

I had a perfectly Paleo Canadian bacon cheese omelet with sweet potato home fries! They also have a good variety of tasty breakfast and brunch items. My husband said the bread was really good and crusty and wholesome. It is themed Fire Station and cute. Be aware it is cash only, and no A/c if it is a hot morning.

This one egg, piece of ham on a bagel is 9 dollars

9 dollars for a single egg, single slice of ham and single slice of cheese, not worth it. if you are double the cost of an egg mcmuffin, it should comparable or better.

Two of us had 2 poached eggs on toast and coffee total bill $26. That seems pretty high when I can buy a dozen eggs for $4.

The waitress even took notes of what our allergies were, very refreshing. Just to make sure the food that I ordered was OK the manager came over and asked just to make sure, appreciate that. The food came out perfectly as ordered without having anything to be sent back, as usually it needs to be sent back for one reason or another. My gas and I appreciate the amazing customer service, the tentativeness, the food that tasted better than what the menu you read and just overall ambience nice experience without being rushed. If you're looking for an upscale place food and ambience this is the place to go and come back to.

My husband spent a dollar more and got the brunch burger which I sampled and it was head and shoulders above this sad little chicken sandwich that had very little flavor and should be taken off the menu IMO. It looks like a sandwich you would get from Panera, not a place like this. I want to give our bartender credit for the hard work she was doing attending to surrounding tables and bar patrons by herself. I also will give credit to the restaurant for the amazing truffle Parmesan fries and my yummy decaf espresso martini. But for the love of Pete -- stay away from this pathetic, tasteless and overpriced grilled chix sandwich that sounded great on the menu but failed miserably IRL. They can and should do better.

This was our first time going since it had opened as the Fireside Tavern. It is fair to say we were underwhelmed. My wife ordered a Dirty Martini and it had a lot of vermouth in it which is not the correct way to prepare it. For an appetizer we got the Calamari which was very good. Crispy and tender with delicious hot peppers added in as well. For the main courses we got the Chicken Piccata severed over Gnocchi which was good but nothing special. Gnocchi were a bit denser than we like. Our other main was the Seafood Paella. On the plus side it had a lot of seafood in it, mussels, Shrimp, Scallops and a white fish. All of the sish was cooked well and was tender and juicy. However it did not appear to be cooked in a Paella pan so you didn't get some of those bites of crispy rice and the seasoning was off it had no saffron or tomatoes like I am used to. It was more like a plain rice that they added peas, carrots, and red pepper. Just didn't taste like any form of the paella that I have eaten previously. Jenna our server was awesome and attentive but not overbearing. She was fantastic and made for an enjoyable evening.

Server was nice but you could tell they were understaffed that night and sat too many tables at once. Once we sat done down and given water it took a while before our server appeared. The pacing was off and there were long periods between our order and apps, entree, and dessert. - bread service: kind of expensive ($13) for 5 pieces of bread and a dollop of each dipping sauce. Try just bread and butter for $6 - cornbread: delicious but small portion for $14. Also not a fan of the cutting board presentation - kids Mac and cheese: very cheesy ($12) - tiger shrimp risotto: ($34) good flavor but risotto was underdone - fried chicken: ($30) so crispy and cooked perfectly but had an odd spice in there like cinnamon? The star was the fried green tomatoes and the buttermilk ranch! Perfectly fried and crunchy while the tomatoes stayed firm and a very tasty ranch dressing! - dessert: warm cow sugar cookies were nice and warm sitting in butterscotch pudding, very cute! - the toffee in the butterscotch pudding ($11) was super crunchy, wish there were more cubes mixed in - warm chocolate brownie ($15) was missing the creme anglaise? Or the splatter of it was very small? I liked the open kitchen, high ceilings and farm2table concept but be prepared to spend $$$. Some street parking available and metered lot across the street.
