This experience was a joke. It started off with a call saying he was going to be late to our "10:30" appointment. Our appointment was arrival between 11:30-12:30.. well he didn't show up until almost 2 which is also my daughter's nap time. It took him forever to setup but whatever, as long as it didn't bother my daughter's nap. While he was looking at the couches he asked if I had pads to move the furniture.. no? I didn't know it needed to be moved.. he said ok I told him I was putting her down and shortly after he yelled for me from upstairs- right outside her room *I was downstairs He then asked if I could vacuum my downstairs couches before he cleaned them..to make it easier for him? Ok I hired you guys to clean my couches- why would I do it myself He later told me he assumed it would be full of pet hair but it wasnt... idk why he assumed When he was half way done he asked me if I had anything to eat and drink because he was hungry and never took a lunch.. ok this is getting way way unprofessional. You guys need to figure out your employees lunches When he was almost done he informed me he had busted my hose.. seriously? Anything else..? By the end of it he kept toting about how great of a job he did and that it looks "so much better" I keep my house super clean. There weren't stains or anything anywhere and it wasn't that dirty- I just wanted it cleaned. Everything looked the same just wet. He asked that I give a 5 star review. After he packed up there were clumps of nasty stuff from his hose all over my house and blue scuff marks all over my brand new flooring. It's now the next day and my sectional is still wet, my area rug which I've only had for 2 months is warped and no longer laying flat. There's also a weird residue texture on it.. So overall I paid $800 for wet furniture and destroying things in my house. Absolutely would not recommend. read more

Stay away. Bait and switch. Contacted Stay Cleaned Up via Yelp projects. Provided Owner Michael with description of the one common area carpet and stairs area in need of stretching and cleaning. I sent multiple photos and we agreed upon a price. Lined up a carpet stretching and cleaning weeks in advance. On the day of the stretching, the technician was supposed to show up at 5pm, then called me the day of saying he'd be there at 4pm. Eventually showed up at 6pm and then handed his phone to me saying I needed to speak with his boss Michael. Michael tried to renegotiate and triple the agreed upon price, saying the area was larger than he thought. Again, I sent him multiple photos of the area weeks prior. He only agreed to do the stretching because his tech was already there, but canceled the carpet cleaning for the next day. read more

Marcus even put protective covers on the corners of the walls and a towel around the hose so it wouldn't scratch my hardwood floors. My carpets look like new. He never got back to me, and because I was on a deadline with my insurance company, I chose to go with a different company. Overall, very happy. The carpet is very clean. The worker was very nice. He even cleaned and dried the floor near the staircase. Only the last spot was not cleaned properly. Perhaps it was a bit dark there, he didn't see. Should have turned on the light. That small area still looked quite dirty, and the spot which was there before was still clearly visible (see photo). So that's my only complaint. Otherwise, all very good. Would use their service again. Update: After this review, they called me and offered to come and clean that last spot again. Fantastic job cleaning our home's carpet. He was courteous and worked hard and diligently to get our home in the Oakland Hills completed. Honestly, we couldn't be happier. Especially that they offered to clean our carpets the same day I called. The two companies we have used before were booked until December. I couldn't believe I got a same day appointment. And they were just as professional and thorough. Our home is two stories and he strategized how to best do each room without having to step on newly cleaned carpet. Our carpet is a very light color, cream. We can tell very easily when they are clean and when they are dingy. He left them very bright and uniform. He was more thorough than we asked him to be, so he did extra work above our normal preference. There was a bit of confusion on the arrival time but it was not his fault. The scheduler mis-communicated. His work ethic and professional demeanor more than made up for it. And it was SAME DAY service.
