I found that Arvidson's is the best at understanding what pools need for the right balance, and then following up to ensure everything turned out okay. I went there two days ago, and I had a high level of ammonia in the pool. I have no idea how that would have happened. Rather than sell me an expensive round of chemicals, they told me to drain 1/3 of the water out of the pool and refill it. They said that would mean I would need less to balance the water. When I returned today, the Ammonia levels were low enough that I didn't need to do anything other than add (a lot) of chlorine. More than anything, I trust their judgment in chemically treating pools.

They were given preauthorization up until a certain amount and because we asked them to fix something, they charged the amount to fix it without any kind of authorization or discussion about what it took to fix and how much it would cost. Communication was for the most part non-existent, a response to an email regarding the preauthorization took approximately a month to respond. The only reason that it was even responded to was because of our cancellation for their bad service.

I have had nothing but problems with my pool's chemistry for the past four seasons - and particularly with outrageously high phosphate levels that we were never able to get under control. Once I switched to LGPAS, Jen and Tim took the time to assist me and made a recommendation to switch my system over to a salt system, and a cartridge filter process vs. using the sand filter that we had. I can't tell you how happy I am that we made these changes. My phosphate problem is under control, my water flow is far better than before, the pool is clean and the chemistry is balanced. I let a different company open my pool this year because they were doing some concrete work on my…read morecoping. The guy who opened it showed me the spa wasn't holding water and accused Lotus of not winterizing the pool properly which set in motion costly events like pressure testing the spa. When the spa pipes checked out, lotus sent out two pro's Robert and Aldo. Aldo identified right away that the actuator for the intake was forced by hand during the opening and was slightly open thus draining the spa back into the pool. Robert took the time to show me what caused the problem and what simple of a fix it was. I will now only trust lotus and their team to open and close my pool. Thanks guys!
