This coffee shop is in a converted residential home in Richardson. They have a wonderful selection of lattes and a tiny selection of baked goods. I got a flat white which was pleasantly bitter and smooth and creamy at the same time. I got a bagel with fresh chives - so tasty! I love the hunter green walls and the super comfy couch you can sink into. The coffee shop appears to be a favorite of college students - I saw lots of folks studying during my visit. The baristas were very personable. Really friendly and chatty in the nicest way. Do they have hammocks in the back yard to relax in? You bet they do! SO GOOOD!! I had found this spot on Instagram a while back but never tried. It got to the point where Starbucks just doesn't do it, I now refuse to go to a Starbucks, I remember this location which is right around the corner from Starbucks and let me tell you, it was a HIT! This little house on a corner is super cute and house an outdoor area. It's small but cozy! Staff is super sweet and caring! Now drinks! I didn't expect it to be so good! My cousin and I went and we both got iced dulce de leche lattes and they were AMAZING!! Even my cousin, (who doesn't like iced coffee, or drink coffee as much) loves it! I cannot even begin to wonder how or why there was a small piece of glass/plastic in a drink. I was drinking the coffee kind of slow (thank god) and noticed something hard come up from the straw. Usually with coffee its just a ground so I almost drank it without question. Luckily I spit it out and saw the picture attached. Still the best biscuit and sausage gravy I've had that I can remember (only on weekends) Such a cute little house coffee shop with the friendliest staff and coolest backyard for kids. The giant tree in the back provides good shade in the summertime and plenty of room for kids to run around. this place has everything you could want in a coffee shop. nice and helpful baristas, good drinks, fair prices, good pastries! even though they are a coffee shop, their matcha latte is one of the best in the area - they don't add any sweetener unless you request it, and the matcha flavor is earthy and not overpowered by the milk. the ambience is also very nice, plenty of natural light and a pleasant interior. it's a good contrast from a lot of other cafes with bright white lights and bland interiors. however, it can be a bit loud, especially on sunday's when people are bringing their kids in after church. but that can be expected from any coffee shop, especially one as popular as this! great place, please check it out!!! read more

I first went to staycation when it opened out of curiosity and my Americano was nothing special and the wait was very, very long being a new establishment. I hadn't been back until last week. Some people lounge there, but some people don't have forever because they are on their lunch break or popping in for a coffee. There was one lady in front of me and myself. I thought this will be relatively quick. I was wrong. The owner and her had a conversation that went four or five minutes before I walked out. They literally are discussing personal things and different businesses owned in Dallas and she even looked at me twice as I'm waiting to order. She was rude and indifferent. I was in that moment invisible as a customer. I will never go back because there are too many good independent places nearby to get great coffee. read more
