I am always willing to try new places and the food was very tasty. I had the biscuits and gravy which came with eggs (I had mine scrambled). And coffee. It's not just any coffee, but real coffee. I am not anti-Starbucks, but I don't want to use special sizing terminology to order a "medium coffee". I found out that they special order Ronnoco coffee- the waitress told me after I asked. All staff were very nice and hard-working. I appreciated the hustle. Everybody was working and it seemed as though they had a lot of regular customers which was not surprising. Prices were reasonable (my breakfast was one of the specials of the day) and I don't recall what my mother ordered...but she loved her breakfast too). And yes, the restaurant is attached to a bowling alley and also a barber shop (and I went for a haircut too (thumbs up!!!)! Standout performances by the service staff. As it should have been, it was extremely busy on a Saturday morning. There also happened to be a festival in town. But that being said, we sat at the little counter and ordered your basic breakfast with eggs and bacon and toast plus some biscuits and gravy and I was pleased that I didn't order the full-size biscuits and gravy because the half size was as big as a normal size at other restaurants. Gravy was full flavor, not gritty at all, and there was more than adequate amounts of sausage. Sometimes you have to play hunt the sausage, which is just a scary statement. I had ordered an extra well-done sausage patty just in case I needed to cut up more and had it. But I would've been OK without. Happy with our choices plus a tremendous value.
