I am a S/S fan - love the food at this N Druid Hills location - but hate the new Kiosks - I understand maybe not can find people to work but the Kiosks suck. No doubt. The floors are ALWAYS slippery due to grease probably from re-used mops and more than likely you have to clean your own tables. Tonight, the person supposed to be cleaning couldn't stay off her phone. Staff management was friendly but not "managing". Cooks were doing a good job, again food was good. This place is super slow on everything. I'll order a milkshake on the app for a specific time and they will still take a long time. The only time I come here now is if I'm drunk or I have a free milkshake on the app. I've been to the one in Duluth many late nights and that one always had better service. Maybe the alcohol and late nights distorted my sense of time. Nostalgia has actually prevented me from going back to the one in Duluth. I don't want to ruin my college nights. $4 for a double steak burger and fries is still the best deal, but once you add tip, it's not that much better deal than fast food places. This is one of the SLOWEST locations I've ever been to. Idk but they're not really efficient. I always gave myself about 15 mins before work in the same plaza to hit the drive-thru. Nope, Nope, Nope! I would avoid this place like the plague. We came here after a tennis practice and wanted something sweet. Since 'shake' is in the name, we figured they would have good milkshakes, we were wrong. We pulled up to the speaker and waited a few minutes, no one answered, we looked like crazy people, saying 'hello, hello, anyone there' but no response. Finally we drove around to the first window. We had thought that maybe it was closed... but we saw people inside. Finally, when someone came within view, husband tapped on the glass. A woman came to the window and looked as if we had morally offended her. She asked us what we wanted... not exactly what I would have expected... but ok, we ordered a chocolate milkshake (I saw on the menu it cost $2.99) she told us the cost was $3.95. I was confused so we asked how it got to that amount. She said in the most uninterested voice, "oh, right, $3.20." Now I understand that's not a lot at all, but still, I want to pay the amount I owe, not more. When we finally got our milkshake, the cup was sticky (as if milkshake had dripped all over it but they didn't bother to wipe it off). Gross. I opened it to find that it wasn't full, nor did it have whipped cream. There was about an inch of space from the top to where the milkshake started. Super disappointing. When we took a taste of it, it had ice crystals in it, you know, the type that happen when old ice cream has been sitting in your freezer too long... In addition to the overall disappointment of all the food and employees, there was a nasty smell wafting into our window from the restaurant or the surrounding areas. They have a sign that tells you to wait to be seated, but when you walk in, all of the waiters and waitresses will not acknowledge your existence until you make your presence known. The food is cheap, no doubt. The Francisco Melt is good, and most of the burgers are alright. You can get a cheap late night meal for $5, but you'll have to wait 30 minutes to get seated, and another 30 minutes to get your food (very slight exaggeration). read more

Breakfast Review So, I drive by here EVERY workday on my way to work and I never see a line. .I finally stopped in and saw that I could order a ton of yummy breakfast items to go and I could watch them, get this, actually cook it. No frozen eggs here. You can even call your order in. I have 2 favorites: Egg and Cheese biscuit w/ Hash browns. This is warm and gooey and the hash browns are like silver dollar size and crispy on the outside and well seasoned. All for this for only $2.99. That is cheaper than my coffee at Starbucks. Chocolate Chip Pancakes with extra chips, butter, and whipped cream. This is 3 large pancakes with all of the toppings and chocolate in the pancake for only $3.99. This is still less than my Starbucks coffee. Oh and there are always coupons available for food in the mail each week. On weekends, kids eat free. This means that I can take my ruggrats there to dine and I could order some chicken tenders or a salad and only pay for my meal. BEST MILKSHAKES too! They have completely removed all human contact other than the person that tosses your order onto the greasy counter and yells out the name that goes with the order. You order from a computer at the front door. The fries are always old and have clearly been sitting around a long time. The men's bathroom is so disgusting that I won't even enter to wash my hands anymore. Urine is caked on all of the floor, the urinal, and there's a standing puddle of pee.
