This plate was a steal for just $8.99. The mix BBQ plate consisted of steak, chicken, garlic shrimp, and short ribs as well as a small, leafy salad. I will be honest I was a little sketched out the first time I went into this place. It is located inside of a convenience store and it doesn't look the greatest. The parking lot is small and overcrowded and I really wasn't sure what I was going to find. However I probably have been here 20 times or so in the last couple years and I'm happy to report that you should not judge the food or the quality from the outside of this establishment. I recommend getting the Steak & Shrimp plate or the steak and noodle plate. I am giving this 5 stars because of the price, how fast the food comes out and the quality and quantity of the food that you actually get. This place is cash only so bring your cash. There is an ATM though inside the convenience store. Again this place is nothing fancy it's really a order and get it to go type of place but there are a couple of booths and a small counter. You can also call in and pick up your order. I normally just placed the order at the counter and wait a couple minutes and my order is ready. There's always the same lady working the register there and she is really nice and she remembers your face and who has ordered white so you will get the head nod and she will look right at you and that's how you know that your order is ready. I believe the owner owns steak rave and the convenience store. As soon as you walk in the plate lunch order counter is on the left side. We already know what to order so we got the steak fried noodles ($9). There's about 4 tables cramped in the small area. A few seats on the counter by the cashier. Ordering takeout would be better because tables are a bit dirty and there are flies. Anyways, portions are decent but could have added more steak pieces. The noodles tasted great. Not those simple stir fry noodles. It was tasty. Steak was pretty good, not too dry or hard to chew. A quick lunch place to go to when we were starving. Quality and quantity was decent. I came here after a full day out on the beach and got the steak and fish plate. The place is pretty dingy and the employees all looked very sad so I expect didn't much, but I was surprised by how good the steak was. You can try their tiny parking lot which might be able to fit 3 cars or you can park in the municipal parking lot (metered) in the back area by Zippy's (but you'll need to access it from the street that McDonalds is on). Or you can try to find Street parking (good luck). I ordered 2 combination plates. One was steak with shrimp and the other steak and chicken. The steak was tender ... a little dry and there was a frozen/defrost taste as well as either perfume or perfumed hand soap ... so I'm guessing that whoever prepared it had some residue of one of these on their hands. It wasn't strong but I could detect it. The chicken was also dry with some kind of Korean sauce on it. The sauce tasted like the sauce that's used on Taegu. The shrimps were ok (they were a little small) though they were somewhat dry they tasted a little smoky from the grill which I liked. The plates both had 3 scoops of rice and tossed salad. This was second time visiting this restaurant. Last time I had a rice plate. This time I ordered a steak noodle. I asked if it had fishcake and since it did, I asked for it to not be in the dish. There is no list of ingredients for the items so I believed steak noodle to be the noodles, veggies with steak. To my surprise, it had spam. When I took it back, I told the cashier I cannot eat pork and she told me it was not pork, but spam. Unfortunately, she didn't know it was the same thing. found this gem on yelp after we were done with the beach. from Lanankai beach it was about 10 mins drive there. we parked on the street and went inside. it was a mix of food spot on the left and liquor store on the right side. we ordered 3 orders of the short ribs plate and OMG it was freaking delicious. nice char on the ribs with that fat on the end. we love the salad it comes with. price was 15-20 bucks depends on what you get but trust me this is worth it. if you are nearby the area please come by and show them some support read more

Once inside the market, you'll see a bunch of people waiting for their food by a booth and there you've found Steak Rave. Literally a hole in the wall, the prices are commensurate ~ most plate lunches are no more than $10, though the garlic shrimp is more like $12.50 if I remember correctly. Personally, I ordered the grilled shrimp plate lunch. The rice and salad are pretty standard and yummy, but what I truly enjoyed was the grilled shrimp. In addition to being peeled (so many places can't be bothered with this), the shrimp was delicious! Crisp, grilled flavor, yum! As a side note, I think Steak Rave shines with its shrimp, not steak or chicken. I saw the reviews for Steak Rave and decided we just had to go check it out. Like others have said, it's located inside Oneawa Marke and it definitely qualifies as a "hole in the wall". There are a couple of tables and a bit of counter seating, if you're lucky enough to grab a spot. Look for the large STEAK sign on the outside of the market and you've found it. Parking is limited, but it must have been my lucky day as someone was just leaving, so I pulled into their spot. As you enter the market, stay to your left and the counter will be right in front of you. The menu is basic, but that's a good thing. You don't need a lot of options, if you do the basic very well. Unfortunately, we went as they were almost closed, so they didn't have anymore Kalbi. We opted to share a plate of steak and chicken that had 2 scoops of rice and a fresh lettuce salad. The other plate was a combination of chicken and shrimp. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly, it was seasoned just right and really tender. Our chicken was a bit dry, but still had really good flavor. The shrimp were good sized, had good flavor and were cooked just right. It's CASH ONLY, so just be warned. The service is good and the food came-out pretty quick. We were lucky enough to grab a table as another party were leaving, so we got to enjoy our food as it came-out nice and hot. I've been going here for years & I fell in love with their steak noodle plate. It's delicious with tender, moist pieces of steak. They are always generous with the portions. Normally I would have given them a 5-star review but this past time I went in the steak wasn't that great.
