This place was amazing. The wait staff was great and very knowledgeable when you asked them about what food items they suggest. I got the BBQ Hash bowl. It was good, portion size was very big. The bowl had country potatoes, grilled jalapeño peppers, brisket, pulled pork, and shoe string friend onions. Topped with a delicious BBQ and cheddar sauce, garnished with green onions. I recommend this dish highly. Restaurant was clean and friendly environment. Go check it out for yourself. read more

Great addition to the NE Mpls/St. Anthony area! A very nice large patio for outdoor seating that where they frequently have live music, which makes for a great dinner and date night vibe. They have a solid drink and food menu as well. It's slightly more expensive than the traditional American food type of restaurant, but we really liked 3/4 items we ordered. The Baked Brie Dip was a great starter, and I followed that up with the Brie Burger which was delicious. We also tried the Smoked Turkey Sandwich as it had good reviews and recommendations, but weren't really impressed with this item. We finished dinner with the Banana Bread Pudding that comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and is a must have if you still have room! Overall great experience, and would recommend getting there while the weather is good to enjoy the patio! read more

This is kind of a difficult review to write because I had 2 totally different experiences. I dined in for dinner one night and although there was a bit of a wait, the service was good and food was delicious. I had the salmon and my husband had the chicken sandwich. Everything was good and I loved the sauce on the salmon. The chicken sandwich had a huge piece of chicken and had the perfect ratio of crispy and juicy. The fries were also really good. I could have ate a whole plate. Because I had such a good experience I ended up ordering food to - go a couple nights later and order cheese curds and the walleye sliders. The curds were ok, but the walleye sliders were completely inedible and went straight into the trash. They were very fishy and gross. And just for the record, I did pick the food up right away so it wasn't like it sat there too long. I hate giving 3 stars but when you have to throw food away I consider that to be pretty bad. I would like to go back and try their brunch, but it's not exactly high on my list. read more

Wow. This restaurant was incredible! The ambiance is cool, with great/current music playing. The service was quick and understanding: beers from the tap were not very cold, so our waitress ended up giving the table free drink coupons to use in the future. Lastly and certainly not least, the food was CRAVE WORTHY. Our favorite was the Birria Egg Rolls which were unique and soooo delicious. They had unique flatbreads, and the Kill Dill vol 1 was delicious with salami, dill aioli, and pickles. Yum! Great space and great service! Came with some friends and they hadn't opened up their outdoor patio yet so we were seated inside but they opened up windows which let in a nice summer breeze. The deals they have for happy hour are really good and their menu is extensive. I got the zoodles and they were pretty filling. We arrived at the restaurant around 5 PM on a Sunday with our family and found it to be bustling but not overcrowded. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that kids eat for free on Sundays (yay!). Our order consisted of a classic cheeseburger with cheddar and the curry bowl. Both entrees had the perfect amount of seasoning, and we were thoroughly satisfied! I was particularly impressed with the sear and seasoning on the burger. I had it with cheddar and pickles, and it didn't need anything else! The staff was friendly and attentive, especially since our son was having a tough time when we first arrived. Overall, we plan to come back and hope to check out their happy hour as their deals looked solid. I hate to dock a place on account of service, but it makes a difference. The hostess seemed annoyed that we showed up 5 minutes early to our reservation. It took a while for our server to show up at our table and when he did he mentioned that he had to "catch up" and would be back. I get it and I do appreciate the communication. The beer list was pretty good. I felt like the cocktails and menu in general tried too hard. I settled on the smash burger which was pretty good although the bacon paste wasn't my favorite. The fries were solid. A bit bummed that our appetizer was forgotten by the server who barely offered an apology for forgetting. I was excited to visit this new restaurant after just hearing the name alone. We love beer & food so this seemed like a must visit. The bar is large & they have many tables as well. They have an extensive beer, cocktail, and good menu. I grabbed the beer battered cheese curds & New Orleans Shrimp Bowl. The curds were solid- nice & cheesy made with Bauhaus Ale & served with a side of smoked ketchup. I didn't love the ketchup, but others definitely might! The New Orleans Shrimp Bowl is made with jumbo shrimp, red jasmine rice, white BBQ, smoked gouda sauce, garlic, red pepper, broccoli. I really liked this dish! It was yummy & a perfect meal! Rating 3.5 stars New to the neighborhood so we had to check this place out for dinner. Started with the armadillo eggs. They sounded really interesting! Plus it's wrapped in bacon! Overall they were decent. I decided to go with the Korean steak bowl. I really Enjoyed my meal and it was surprisingly filling so I ended up packing half of it for lunch. Loved the mix of fresh vegetables and jasmine rice. My steak was a bit overdone. Two of my friends got burgers. They ordered them medium and they both came out well done. They didn't regret ordering the burgers by any means but they were looking forward to a little more pink. They have great happy hour specials and a huge selection of local craft beer. First time trying Steele and hops and was very impressed. They had a large array of drink choices with quite a few NA choices. We got the goat cheese toast which was so good! 10/10. We also got the wings, the cheese curds, Birria egg rolls, and their smash burger which was huge. The service was very appreciative as well. I loved the restaurant itself inside. This new joint opened recently up in the NE Twin Cities Metro (St Anthony to be exact) and quite under the radar I might add. You wouldn't know it though cause the place was hoppin'! Their focus is on modern American fare using locally sourced ingredients in a comfortable atmosphere. There's quite the eclectic menu and an impressive list of spirits as well as craft cocktails. I need to mention the not-pictured "No One Drinks Gin" with hendricks gin, st. germaine, muddled kiwi, agave nectar, and tonic. Super refreshing! The aesthetics are great inside and there's a massive, inviting bar housing a hundred backlit liquor bottles. For grub we had our eyes on some of their impressive looking handhelds on Texas toast. What we ordered: Brisket Grilled Cheese ~ house smoked brisket, cheddar, provolone, crispy onion, pickle, and bourbon BBQ on texas toast. **super solid sandwich here. Is it award winning brisket? No. Is it damn good brisket made even better by wrapping it in a blanket of melty cheese? Yes!** Smoked Turkey Sandwich ~ mesquite smoked turkey, aged cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pesto cranberry aioli on Texas toast. **I'd come back for this one for sure. Super thick, flavorful smoked turkey and the pesto cranberry aioli is something I wish they sold by the jar. Also waffle fries are the standard side unless you say otherwise, and I'm Livin' for that! We came in on a Thursday evening to try this establishment. We were not disappointed. The Korean tacos appetizer was excellent - well-sized and flavorful. It wasn't filled with lettuce/cabbage but was well-portioned. It was very tasty and something I hadn't expected. Our server was polite and efficient. One I thing that I really hate in restaurants is when the server hovers over you - she was quick but did not hover. She left us be but when we needed something was right there. The beer list is excellent, composed primarily of microbrews. They offered one mass producer of beer - Coor's - but otherwise have an excellent selection of smaller beers. The kolsh I had was a little sweeter than a normal kolsch but still good. My wife's Castle Danger was, of course, an excellent beer. Entrees were excellent as well. Abbey was an awesome server, the goat cheese toasts & cheese curds were delicious (although I think there could've been more goat cheese on the toasts) the burnt end app is PHENOMENAL, as were the burger my fiance had, the giant turkey sandwich & the Korean and New Orleans bowls the family had. Had a terrific lunch there today, 3/3/25. Place smelled great from the front door, and it got better from there. No waiting, attentive staff, nice menu, comfy booth seating... the burger was perfectly done, super fresh soft sand chewy bun, and broccoli slaw was a perfect side. Great place! The bar looks amazing too. Go here for the BBQ. Their Smokey flavors are on point! I think that is their only downside. All the plates were heavy on the umami side and I wished there was some component that wasn't that heavy. Highly recommended for a date night or a night out with the family. read more

Glad I was finally able to try this place! Went on a Friday night around 9 after finishing up a pottery wine night at Dock 6 Pottery nearby. We were able to find 3 spots at the bar right away. Mark, our bartender was great. Friendly & good recommendations. I tried the Spicy Cauliflower with Avocado Ranch alongside a glass of Pinot Noir and let me tell you... some of the best (if not THE best) fried cauliflower I've tried in the Twin Cities. I always make a point to try it wherever I see it on the menu. Theirs was crrrrispy and packed with flavor, not too spicy. Much more flavor than my friends tofu bowl she ordered, so I'm glad I went with the cauliflower! Cool vibes, classy restaurant & live music. I'll be back! read more

We ordered the Brie and Brisket Burgers. Both burgers were done medium rare as requested. The brisket burger was good, the brisket was a bit chewy and cold, the pickled onions and pickles were great but a overall tasted good. Breakfast buffet was set up in the bar area and though the restaurant was full of people there wasn't a line to get food.
