My husband, daughter & I decided to give this neighborhood spot a try last night. I ordered the Brie burger which we both agreed was absolutely delicious. He got the guacamole burger which was good, just not the flavor I was in the mood for. He said it was OK. The fries were great! I also loved that the kids menu had a wide variety of items to choose from. We will definitely be back as we were drooling watching everyone's food come out. As for the staff, the hostess was great with our daughter and very nice/welcoming. Our server was decent but could have been more engaging/better. Stopped in on Friday for dinner with Friends. Great classic mixed drink options I really enjoyed the old fashion I ordered with the giant ice cube that it came with. I ordered the brisket and waffle fries. I wish the coleslaw size was bigger and the fries less. GASP I know I just said I wanted less fries but I loved that coleslaw and would have wanted more of that. The fries were well seasoned and fried all the way through so not mushy like some waffle fries can be. The brisket was the real star of the meal. The meat was tender and not over cooked. The sauce served with it was the perfect amount. I am happy they gave you more on the side if you wanted it instead of drowning it in the sauce. Bathrooms super clean and staff friendly. read more

Very accommodating and helpful staff. Came in for my Mom's birthday a party of 7. Got sat at the long high top by the bar. Which was fine, but my Mom has hearing loss. So, we asked to move to another table. They had another party reserved for the main table, but they pushed some booth tables together to accommodate. I was very thankful that they were able to help us out. The hostess was very professional, extremely friendly and very helpful. Our server took good care of us. Attentive, prompt, not overbearing. We had Brussels sprouts, and cheese curds for the table which were pretty good - not great. I had the Korean Steak bowl which was well cooked with good ingredients, flavorful, but nothing extraordinary. They brought my Mom a complimentary dessert for her birthday too. The restaurant also has a variety of food options typical for a burger joint, but everything had some uniqueness added to it (for example: the cheese curds had an extremely tasty jam served alongside it). I went here or brunch with my partner and friend after looking at the menu and hearing some buzz. We tried the stuffed French toast, the avocado pesto toast, breakfast toast, and biscuits and gravy. Drink wise we all tried the bellini, mimosa, pepper bloody mary, and regular. The avocado toast wasn't really edible as the candied walnuts were burnt and the overall flavor was cloying ad off-putting. The biscuits and gravy were fine. The biscuits were good. But the whole dish was overly heavy and the sausage gravy. Pen poked did not stick to my finger but siny was left with an indent. Brisket was 1/2 to 3/4 gristle/fat per peice so that was disappointing. The other toasts- stuffed was mushy and bland. The breakfast one just strange and the ciabatta just didn't seem to work for any of us. I was the only one that took more than one bite of food and for me I ate around the fat of the biscuits and gravy, as said it was fine. I was hungry. The highlight was the pepper vodka bloody Mary purely as the taste of the mix was really good. The alcohol content for all of the drinks was disappointingly questionable. I drink 1-2 times a week and I was finding it hard to get a buzz. Which I did attempt with ordering about 4 drinks as did my cohorts. The server and host were nice. But very slow. We were there for a little over 2.5 hrs and had to ask 2 times for the check. I am OK with my server being hungover. Honestly, good for them I respect a work hard play hard attitude- but ya gotta be able to workhard too and being nice isn't enough. It was also very open and not busy throughout the restaurant. There are just too may other places in the area and near me that do this bit better. Better drinks, quicker service, and better food. The presentation is pretty though, and the vibe on the patio is kind of nice. If 2 of any of the lacking components were improved- even just being able to taste alcohol in the bloody mary, maybe I would consider going back. Luckily the company I was with being ok with being super underwhelmed kept the experience light and not a bummer. read more

The food is always solid, the restaurant is virtually always busy. Even though it's busy, the servers are great. They did change my favorite item on the menu to make it not as good, but there are tons of other good options. My partner loves their whiskey selection. Decided to stop in for dinner and was I glad I did ! Very nice place, had live music, which was actually pretty good and enjoyable. I tried the Brisket Grilled Cheese that was on special and it was on point ! The Bang Bang shrimp and Bourbon Glazed Salmon looked really good too. Came here for HH with a friend. I have to say the best thing about this place was the service. Very friendly servers. I ordered the impossible burger, but I'm not vegan so I asked for smoked Gouda cheese and a regular bun (non-vegan). The server said they'd be able to do the substitutions. When my burger came out none of the mods were made. They took it back and a few minutes later it came back and only the bun had changed. I could tell the cheese was the same and asked the server if they replaced with smoked Gouda and she said they told her they had. They hadn't. I was disappointed, but gave in and ate it. We got the Brussels sprouts small plate and while the flavor was good, they were definitely undercooked (not al dente, we're talking nearly raw). I got the smoked turkey sandwich and it was delicious! My husband got the St. Louis ribs and said they were a 7/10; they were nice and smoky, but weren't very hot. They have a large kids menu which is great. My daughter got the corn dogs and loved them. I got the pomegranate cosmo and it was excellent, my husband got the old fashioned and also enjoyed it.
