I'm a bit late in posting this, but I had to make sure I gave a shout out to Steelhead Coffee in Long Beach! I stopped by while working in the area with my pup . It was such a beautiful day and we saw this safe and had to stop. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful they even took the time to ask if it was my first time there. My coffee was delicious and the matcha was perfect. A huge plus is how much they love pups; they even had dog treats ready! If you're looking for a dog-friendly spot with great drinks and a welcoming vibe, this is it. Highly recommend for the great energy and top-tier menu items.

This is a pretty cool little community of eateries made out of steel shipping containers, hense the name, "Steelhead." I had the Chai Latte which was enjoyable. It came out at the right temperature and I didn't wait for it very long. There were two people working, one person to take the order and the other who makes the drink. I would assume that this place gets really busy early in the morning, and the line gets long. There was only 1 person in front me around 9am.

Pretty good coffee spot over at the Steelcraft in Long Beach! The staff were very friendly and sweet! They're in a cute little booth at the front on the sidewalk facing the street. We got the Apple Butter Latte and the Cafe De Olla! Both were pretty solid and creamy. The Apple Butter Latte had a good balance too because sometimes the apple flavor throws me off or doesn't taste as good in drinks in my opinion.

This place always catches my eyes when I drive on Long Beach Blvd. so I was super excited to try it with my sister! The Iced Chai Latte was good! I didn't think it was too milky, and the chai flavor was great. The Iced Matcha Latte wasn't good. Judging by the color of it, you already know it will just taste like straight milk or milk with a pinch of matcha. This one tasted like only whole milk. To be fair, it is a coffee place, not a matcha place. My sister said she noticed our drinks were majority whole milk when the employee was making them. The coffee place is so cute! It's super eye catching when you drive on Long Beach Blvd. I would pass it all the time and think about trying it. There's a simple menu, cute merchandise, mugs, and coffee grounds. There's plenty of seating in SteelCraft, and there's tons of other food businesses. The employee was so sweet! She asked if I wanted cinnamon on my Iced Chai Latte, and she made sure if we wanted whole milk with our drinks. I would come here again though! It is called Steelhead Coffee so I do want to try an Iced Vanilla or Caramel Latte next time! Plus, there's plenty of seating and tons of fun foods in SteelCraft!

Very chill location, cute pictures of baristas and the "dogulars". Loved the ambiance! I appreciate a coffee shop that has rotating seasonal flavors, but still makes their classics right. Their brown sugar (seasonal) was just okay in my opinion. The cold brew itself was pretty good, not too acidic like other places. As for the service, it wasn't great. The barista working exchanged a minimal amount of words with me, but found the person behind me interesting enough to talk the entire time. 3/5 because it was good enough to spend my money there once, but probably wouldn't come back.

Delicious coffee and great service. I'm stoked! I ordered an iced mocha (because peppermint mocha hasn't landed yet) and it's so decadent while still being refreshing and energizing. Nice and quick service, love that the window faces out front and I didn't have to stand in any lines or battle the crowds inside. Woo hoo!

I ordered the iced matcha latte with oat milk and simple syrup (the barista said it does not come sweetened) but it was not good. It just tasted like watery milk.. i would not recommend it based on the taste and price of it. I did go back and ask if i could just get something else and the barista was super nice and understanding and even offered to remake it! I declined the offer for matcha remake and then got an iced vanilla chai and it was ok.. their chai is not bad it was just on the sweet side. My overall rating Matcha : 0/10 :/ Iced chai : 5/10

This coffee stand is good, I ordered the orange blossom latte and the sticky bread croissant thing(?), which is kind of like a sweet croissant. The barista gave her recommendation for my drink, which was good, she was great! The drink itself was alittle more on the milky side; that is the only reason why I didn't give this place five stars. Just to make sure I was not tripping, I asked my friend what he thinks about this place without telling him my experience and the first thing he said was their drinks are a little too milky. Maybe they can improve that. This still craft location has shared seating outside, so you will not be able to sit inside. But it's perfect for hanging with friends or even going alone to get some outside studying in, free WiFi, options for food and a brewery.

Literally only popped in due to driving by. The baristas were so sweet and very welcoming. My go to at every new coffee spot to me is an iced vanilla latte. It was great and light. Perfect early morning beverage. My husband went with the lavender latte and it was equally great. Wouldn't be mad if they expanded further away from Long Beach for us IE people....

A short walk from my old work place, this is a simple outdoor coffee stand serving the usual coffee and tea options, which are all taste great. There's also some easy free parking (along the street or in the adjacent lot). There's never a really long line and the service is quick, especially if you're in a rush. They also have a small selection of pastries but I usually just get my matcha latte. There's an enclosed outdoor seating area if you want to sit and enjoy your drink, while catching up with friends or coworkers.

The workers were very kind to me! The matcha latte was very good (def recommend this over Starbucks) The brown sugar espresso is my new favorite drink. The place is very pleasing to look at! It's on the side of a sidewalk. They have many cute little nicknacks around the store to look at. I went during a weekday for lunch, it wasn't busy and they made the drinks very quick. I would come back here again!

One of our favorite coffee shops in LB. The espresso is expertly pulled and their cold brew and pour over selection is also very good. I'm not sure where they source their pastries but they've also been excellent.

    Bad coffee

The coffee is 90% milk (tasteless) The matcha is 90% water A majority of it was tasteless for 23 dollars worth of beverages.

My better half and I are in our mid-life goth era so we made the trip to satisfy our horror cravings of the day. Rad Coffee is located off of Atlantic Ave & E 35th St. There's a parking lot in front and in back, so on the rare chance it's overcrowded you can find a spot (even on the street). Lots of clashing chaotic colors inside! You order at the counter and pick up your drinks on the side counter next to the bathroom (which is closed). Also closed is a sizeable covered patio, which is a shame since it'd be nice to chill there and not just get it to go. Maybe it's another covid casualty, or maybe it's more about lack of employees to keep an eye out (there was only one during our visit). The menu has lots of specialties in addition to your usual coffee fare. We were adventurous so my wife got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch while I had the Peanut Butter Crunch. Yeah, their house creations have cereal and coffee Frankensteins so it was an interesting choice (both are super sweet). Overall we'd stop by again when we're in the area. I dug their pinball machines while you wait. They also have plenty of merch for sale (shirts, shorts, stickers, mugs, etc.). If you're on the health-conscious side, they also have a hearty selection of vegan friendly treats.

They changed the name subtle enough to avoid a lawsuit, but the changes in the menu and the quality of the drinks are far more drastic, and it's not for the better. These options are replaced by cheap imitations of Starbucks' frothy drinks that sound good on paper but taste like iced piss with sugar. The drinks are excessively sweet, a mortal sin by Asian standard, and they have a generic taste that might as well have one item on the entire menu. Odd behavior to tell someone what they can and can't do at an establishment considering it's called a coffee AND wine bar. Maybe this is something to advertise on your yelp and website but a "laptop free zone" after 4pm is pretty ridiculous for potential customers who were just looking to eat and work. I almost feel like he just told me that because I was going to order a salad and a non alcoholic beverage and wasn't planning on ordering much. As the other 1 star reviews mention "pretentious behavior" so it's either the cashier or whoever it was is being pretentious as others mentioned or RACIST... Kinda odd to dictate what I do on my own accord while I'm a patron at your establishment. If I ordered food and a drink but chose to open my laptop, are you going to ask me to leave? Doesn't really seem customer centric. Considering that I've worked on my laptop at dine-in restaurants, it's pretty odd behavior to display. Also, considering that this is not a club, and there's no live music, and there were only 3 people sitting in there, I think I would have been fine to sit there quietly in a corner with my laptop. 1 star for the experience and weird behavior.
