If I could give this place, a zero star i would do not take your car here. Do not take anything here. The people here are shady and do sloppy and shady work. I brought a car in that needed some simple repairs It took them months to even do the simple repair and when I got it back, they had actually done the repair wrong when I pointed this out they were extremely apologetic and said they will fix it. I understand they were short staffed at the time but they kept given excuse after excuse. They ended up, still not fixing the issue. Worst part is our car got broken into and parts got stolen. They didn't offer anything to help with that and then insisted that I still pay for the repairs that they messed up in the first place that I already paid for. Don't trust these people they didn't even care that my car got broken into. Honestly, I think it was an inside job they took the radio out of my car and several other cars who honestly even does that nowadays. I literally had my car sitting in there a lot for months and it got exposed to hail damage. I find this out when I show up. In the end I just towed my car back to my house it was more damaged bringing it home than when I first brought it in. read more

If like me you're skeptical of autoshops and mechanics, LOOK NO FURTHER! Jonathan at Steel's Automotive will make you feel right at home and kind of walk you through what needs done. A word of advice, it's always better to do things the right way than to just fix one thing at a time. My a/c was blowing hot air, and I had a few other shops offer but I didn't feel comfortable with the suggested fixes considering I had looked into it quite a bit and what they were saying they'd do, I knew wouldn't help and be a waste of money. I tried myself, and was semi-successful but it stopped working after a day. So I went to autozone and they gave me 3 cards, and one of them was to Steel's Automotive. Best decision I've made! Very honest and straight forward guy that knows how to do his job and do it well. I paid for parts to be replaced at a different mechanic because of a problem, that still persisted when I left their establishment. John figured out what the main problem was, fixed it and then I was on my way in no time. Actually saved me alot of money. I called the day prior saying what I needed done after I got a dignostic and to shoot me a ballpark. He told me "worst case scenerio from what you've said, 400 dollars....about....maybe. But, bring it in so I can have a look". So I brought it in, after some trouble shooting he figured it out and only charged me 130.00 to fix it. Yep. He could have stayed closer to that ballpark if he wanted and I wouldnt have even known the difference based on the diagnostics I got from several places. Last Saturday, on my way to work, I noticed my battery light was off. I stopped at AutoZone where they told me I needed a new motor harness. I called Toyota and they informed me the part alone was a $900 part! Jonathan Steels was at the store and told me that if I followed him he could check my car at his shop that same day. He was courteous, knowledgeable and explained everything in lame terms. Even though AutoZone had checked the alternator and had told me that was not the problem, Jonathan said he had a feeling that was the problem and not the very expensive harness. Sure enough, he removed the alternator, took it back to AutoZone and exchanged it for a new (it was only 15 months ago that it had been changed) one since the part failed when tested there. His labor charge was reasonable and he even gave me a ride to the closest restaurant so I could wait there. Thanks, Jonathan, you really made my day!
