Cool spot. Coffee & cocktails. Delicious snacks. Open late (for winter in North Adams!). Chill vibe. Will be back!

Door Prize was hitting on all cylinders. We came in at a time between lunch and dinned so they ware not taking on many new patrons but they let the three of us sit at the bar. We ordered up three beers while enjoying the coolness and checking out the food menu. The interior is some nice dark wood with just enough lighting. the bar was comfortable. I ordered up the schnitzel sandwich and the guys got potato pierogis and beef pierogis. My sandwich was pretty good. I of course ordered it without the mayo so only have the pickles. The meat was maybe a little thing and close to overdone. The pickles were sour and bright and added some good kick to the sandwich. The fries were bountiful, well seasoned, and good. The guys liked the pierogis. We ended with a shot for some reason and that was good too. I guess that was Andrew's idea. The bartender was friendly, kept things going, and nice. I guess this should be a five star review except that the weirdness of some people could come in and not others until dinner time. I should be grateful we got in but I and not sure what was going on. Anyway I am sure that we will be back at the Door Prize with the next Solid Sound because it is good!

It was our first and only time there, so I'm banking on that they were a little off their game. So it took about 20 minutes for us to get water, or a waitress. Then it took what felt like 3 minutes to get our apps and/or entrees, which came about 2 minutes apart. Big portions, so we didn't get dessert. But I will say that the food was excellent. They have mocktails too. There was no one there when we left, so it because less stressful. I'd go again.

The first time I came here, I actually did not eat or drink anything. That's because as I perused through the menu, the restaurant lost power from a thunderstorm. So they basically could not serve food for an unknown period of time. I thanked them for being informative and kind and moved on to a different spot for the evening meal. I decided to return a second time. The wings (Buffalo and garlic parmesan) were well-fried and flavorful. The risotto had too much balsamic vinegar on top, and the rice tasted a little sweet (think rice pudding). Both were turnoffs for me, and felt fortunate that it wasn't my order. The buffalo mac n' cheese was quite good, with a large portion that made it satisfying. Service was friendly and kind throughout and the decor was okay, though a little dark inside (even when they had electricity). This is a decent choice for food and it is on a main road.

The ceviche also wasn't sour enough. I wish our waitress had warned us we were ordering chips twice, as this dish came with chips as well. Tacos de Hongos y Nopal (7/10): Pretty good! The mushrooms and cactus were pretty tender. Empanada (8/10): Loved the texture of the masa. The stuffing was delicious, as was the pistachio mole. Broccolini (4.5/10): The broccolini was not cooked tender enough. The stems were pretty tough to chew through. The flavor of this dish was too one-note. Lacked complexity and balance. We had some really good food, but the ceviche and broccolini kind of ruined it for us. Location next to MoCA is really convenient, though. We did like the ambiance.

The salad was arugula, endive, radlcchio, red wine vinaigrette and parmigiano reggiano. Nice light salad. The pasta was tagliatelle with pork sausage, San marzano tomato, cream and parmigiano reggiano. The pasta was so light and the bowl was the perfect size. If it could not get any better we had the Zeppole Di San Giuseppe for dessert so fresh and delicious! Our server was outstanding and the staff were very friendly. This place is worth trying.

To its credit, there was ample variety within each course of the fixed-price-menu to satisfy vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters. Everything was superb (little gem's ceasar salad, a scrumptious cauliflower main dish, asparagus, steak, tagliatelle emiliana, chocolate budino, lemon olive oil cake, French fries, olive mixture, braised beef, doughnuts, etc.). One feels very welcomed by the hostess, the wait staff is efficient and unobtrusive, and the restaurant avoids the sin of many restaurants these days: blaring and abrasive music. We had a little mishap with our main course in that one arrived much later than the others, and a guest's braised beef dish was a little on the cool side. The waitress (Amanda M.) was extremely gracious in handling and remedying these issues. Thank you, Amanda M. I highly recommend.

Our bartender was super nice and fast. He came and brought the menus really quick. Our drinks were really good and the food came out really fast. I believe the first night we had the wings and the homemade chips, as well as the ramen !(the wings and chips were perfect). The Asian inspired dish was a little bit spicy but very tasty. The second night we tried the mushrooms crostini and again was perfect. Decent burger, I would have loved the bun a little bit more toasted, and the cheese a little bit more melted but other than that was good. I had a fish dish that night. ( not too crazy about the Brussels sprouts but other than that was good) . Yes, we came back for a third time for New Year's Eve. I really wanted to try the miso Caesar salad and again it was 10 out of 10. Probably the best Caesar salad I had so far! My husband had the steak that night and I had the pasta. Both good. Ma favorite? The salad and dessert. ( apple crisp with ice cream, a must ). The ambiance was really good, we loved the cozy vibes at the bar, the decor, dim lights and especially the 80' music. Can't wait to return!
