The coffee here is good but it tastes even better with all the beautiful photography on the wall. I believe it's a couple who shares the talent shown on the wall. A lot of it are local pictures that capture this beautiful city. Also, there's plenty of natural lighting coming in through the huge windows that surrounds this art gallery/ coffee shop. Was up in Reno for an appointment and wanted a good, strong cup of coffee. I'm so glad I yelp'd and found this gem! As others have noted, it's in the print shop which has a cool vibe. Struck up a great conversation with Maurice, while he made my drip from scratch - no stale pots of watery coffee here! Wherever I find myself, I look for local establishments to support. Oh my gosh. I've never wanted to write a review so quickly! I saw this place posted by Yelp on Instagram as a participant in the Out & About event. The picture of the promotional drink itself was enough to make me want to go check it out. I was surprised that there has only been one review and thought it was odd that it says it's located inside a printing company. I was hoping to grab an after work coffee and luckily they're open until 7pm daily (closed Monday)! Going down 4th Street it's right across from Rancho 777. There is a small parking lot and street parking. It is indeed inside Pitch Black Printing but it's actually a shared cafe/gallery space so if you see the PBP sign you're in the right place! We ended up getting 2 iced lattes: one vanilla, one hazelnut. They also have a couple other syrups available and use Coffeebar coffee beans and oatmilk. One of the best little lattes I've had in a while! Good coffee flavor and just the right amount of sweetness! Of course we had to try the special which was a prickly pear, peach tea, lemonade with a sour candy belt in it. A really cute and tasty lemon-tea! The perfect summer drink and it benefits a good cause! Please check out Jet!!! It's definitely going to be one of my favorite coffee shops from here on out! read more

I've missed this place so many times driving up Fourth St. It's nestled inside of Pitch Black printing, which has some fantastic art. The counter is cute and the staff are very friendly. They exclusively use oat milk for the drinks, so if you're dairy only, this may be an issue. However, the drinks are very skillfully made, and you'd never notice. I did have a Cortado my first time there, and it wasn't my favorite. Maybe I just need dairy for that drink. The lattes, though, are phenomenal. So is the chai. If you're on Fourth St for any reason, swing by here for your caffeine fix, you won't regret it. read more

I heard about Jet Cafe from a fellow Yelp Elite and had to come check it out! It was hard to find at first, it is tucked away inside Pitch Black Printing. The shop is further east on 4th street than the brewery district, it's an area I don't go to very often and would not have just stumbled upon this placed if it was not for Yelp. This is primarily a print shop but also has a coffee shop in the corner of the main gallery room! The guy working told us the coffee shop has been there for about 2 years now. They had a big empty space in that corner of the shop, so figured why not make it a little coffee spot! They have a sign on the register that says all their drinks are made with oat milk! That's what I tend to get anyway, so it was nice to have it included without an additional charge. However, people that want regular milk might be disappointed by that. I got the Red Vanilla Latte because I wanted to try something unique! I was told up front that this drink does not have caffeine, but I was fine with that. It's actually made out of rooibos tea! I enjoyed trying something different and thought it was refreshing! The iced coffee only comes in one size, it was a bit on the smaller side but still felt like enough for me. The prices were pretty standard for a coffee shop. My friend and I enjoyed hearing about the print shop business and checking out some of the art in their gallery. I like the exposed brick, high ceilings, and state of Nevada shaped tables on the inside! There's plenty of parking in the lot outside. No outdoor patio seating but pretty spacious inside. I'm happy I got to try another local coffee shop and hope other people will realize they are here so they can come show some support! read more

Look no further if you want to feel cool getting your coffee. The art on the walls, the beautiful windows that bring in so much natural light, the modern but comfy chairs and tables. I needed a place to meet a work acquaintance to catch up, and Jet Cafe was perfect. I love other coffee shops in town, but they are either too crowded or too... kitchsy. Jet Cafe is sleek and stylish: like me! I stopped by on a weekday morning, and the co-owner was making drinks behind the counter. The menu has all the classic coffee-bean based drinks as well as a few PSL-like, 'gram-worthy seasonal options. The co-owner shared that the folks at Coffeebar helped consult on their coffee practices. I got an Americano and my colleague got a latte, and we both enjoyed our drinks. I really appreciated that when my drinking partner requested that her latte not be too hot, the barista was totally understanding. Great customer service! I love seeing 4th St be economically vibrant while keeping it weird and funky, and Jet Cafe is a great combo of those two sets of values. Keep your eyes peeled for the sign outside their location so that you don't drive past it. There's street parking along 4th or N Park St as well as four or five parking spots at the corner of the location. I didn't have time to check out Pitch Black Printing or their art gallery area, but I plan to the next time I roll through. And speaking of rolling through: I learned on their Instagram page that you get a 10% discount if you arrive via bicycle, motorcycle, scooter, or other similar two-wheeled transportation. read more

We drove past this place a couple weeks ago on our way to breakfast and I commented that I didn't know there was a coffee shop in this area and that we should go some time. Little did I know they make all off their drinks with oat milk which is my favorite alternative milk ever and I almost exclusively use it in my lattes! I tried their Chai latte and it was absolutely delicious. Chai can be so easy to over sweeten and theirs was perfect, I could still taste all of the different spices and with the oat milk it was perfectly creamy. My husband got the Lavender Latte which was their special at the moment and he loved it. It was very delicately flavored in the best possible way as well as creamy. They use good quality coffee for all of their coffee drinks and it seems the tea is good quality as well. The barista was very friendly, helpful and speedy. Definitely knows their stuff and was a pleasure to converse with. Oh and how could this place get any better? It's also an art gallery! Very cool and chill vibes inside with lots of fun art. GREAT COFFEE AND VIBE HERE! This is a perfect spot to chill and enjoy some coffee, whether you're meeting up with some friends, or just want to relax and indulge in a cup of delicious, high quality coffee. The vibe here is so cool, it's partnered with a printing shop, so they showcase a lot of art on their walls, it's a very cool environment, which makes me want to just sit and enjoy my time here. The staff here is also super friendly. They are a local, small business, and they really make it feel like a community based coffee shop with how nice and welcoming they are. There's tons of space here, and they have a couple outlets to plug a laptop in, so it's a great place to come get your coffee and do some work on your computer, if you enjoy doing that. The music is also played at a low enough level to where you could come in and enjoy reading a book while you get your coffee fix, something I love to do just to get out of the house. One thing I think is often overlooked about coffee shops is how comfortable their seating is, because some people will spend hours in a coffee shop reading or working! Let me assure you, their seating is super comfy, and you can easily spend a good amount of time here doing whatever it is you're doing, in comfort! I like to encourage people to support small local businesses whenever they can, so please come and give this shop a try! You'll be glad you did.
