Greatly accessible coffee shop on the ROC. Some good food options and all the classic coffee shop drinks and then some redbud ones too.

It's more of a 3.5 but I'm going to round it up because our whole party was satisfied and the food…read morewas decent enough that we came back twice during our two day stay at GSR. And we love our food. First visit I had a steak Cobb salad. And a baked potato. I asked the steak to be medium rare and yeah while it was like an apple bee steak but it was cooked to my liking and I enjoyed it with my colorful Cobb salad and blue cheese dressing. Fried ordered clam chowder and likes it thicker but taste was great. Second visit I had the chicken fried steak. Could've been crispier but the gravy was creamy and tasty (I usually ask for it on the side bc I'm not the biggest fan of gravy but forgot). Eggs cooked to my liking and service was very friendly and personable. Everyone else enjoyed their breakfast. Yes it's a little pricey, it's in a resort. But we were super satisfied and enjoyed and appreciated their tvs to watch the World Cup.

We were seated right away on a Sunday at 6pm before a big show in the theater. Unfortunately our table was not that clean. The chairs had crumbs and the floor below the table was riddled with food. Our waitress was friendly and helpful when I asked her if she could sweep it up. I ordered a $19 burger and fries which was very delicious. The bun was pillowy soft just like I prefer and the slices of bacon and tomato made this burger one that I could go back for.

On a lunch work whim my coworker and I decided to go with Great Basin Co-op. I have passed by this…read morerestaurant plenty of times and was super excited to try it. I think the establishment is so neat, the upper balcony area must have some of the best views. The menu seemed to have a great variety of food options available. I settled upon the Turkey Bacon Avocado, it sounded amazing but what I received was disappointing. It was chunks of turkey and the majority of the bacon was soggy and uneatable. I made the best of it, but most of the dish went uneaten. I did enjoy the salad with the flowers. The establishment had a busy lunchtime flow. Good for them, just not a place I will plan to come back to try again.

There are still pre-packaged food items and prepared burritos, soups, and cookies available for sale downstairs. Expected reopen is this summer. When it is reopen I shall return again! Until then, 5 stars all around for the last 8 years of me going to this place :) This place is a vibe, straight up. The whole upstairs area of the Co Op got remodeled to host more people and make it more friendly for those that like to hang around for that coffee shop vibe. Their outdoor patio is so fun and wonderful when it gets warmer out and opens up for the season. The ordering process is a lot more straightforward now; you get a buzzer after ordering and walk up to the other side of the counter to receive your food. My favorite thing over the last year has been their smoothie bowls. The peanut honey drizzle keeps me coming back and I'm excited to try it again once they are open! Their burritos and sandwiches have also been wonderful and tasty!
