I've been using them for the better half of a year, I've used their daycare and overnight services and you absolutely couldn't ask for anything better. Prices are incredibly fair and cheap and the owners obviously love dogs and my dog would rather stay with them than come back with me(doesn't even turn back to look at me as he goes inside :"). They were one of the few daycares who were willing to respond to me about his medical accommodation and didn't make me feel guilty for asking and they are incredibly sweet people. My dog always comes back very happy and exhausted from playtime. I am a very anxious person who doesn't like to leave my dogs alone so it's a relief to have a place I can drop him off and know he's in phenomenal hands. We love y'all so much!

Here's our dog enjoying herself in the pocket of one of Steph's employees (she's only 5 lb).

We had a last minute change of plans that required us to find a place to watch our dog. Thank goodness we found Stephs Happy Dogs. We did a quick trial run and they did a great job. They sent us pictures of her enjoying herself with her new Doggy friends. We couldn't be happier. We recommend Steph's Happy Dog 100%.

Stephs is the best doggie day care place we have ever taken our dog. How lucky we are! 5 minutes from our house, it's really convenient. Dave and Steph have a true love of dogs as they take them in as guests in their home. One important thing is that I can fully trust our dog's safety and happiness here. We have used them for a week at a time while we are off on vacation and they are very accommodating. I can call at the last minute and they make me feel like our dog is part of their family. I would highly recommend Stephs to anyone who wants that piece of mind knowing your dog is well taken care of! "A happy frequenter" Debbie

But that was not the fault of the provider, just the fault of what I was having to do. The vet was very nice and very patient. She even gave me a late night appointment so I could spend some quality time with my Dog. Writing this review brings up my pain again, but they did such a good job that I want other people to know about them. They were, expensive, but that was partially because it was a late night visit.

The last thing you want when your fur baby is suffering is to reach voicemail after voicemail. Hearing a compassionate human voice on the other end of the phone brought me so much comfort. She came to my home first thing the next morning. I was worried about my younger Golden Retriever jumping on her or interfering with her care, but she was absolutely wonderful with both of my dogs. She encouraged him to stay in the room with us once he was comfortable with her, and I truly believe that helped him understand what was happening. She was incredibly professional, but I'll never forget one small moment. Out of the corner of my eye, while I was saying my final words and paying my last tributes to my girl, I saw her quietly wiping tears from her eyes. As a healthcare provider myself, I know how often we're expected to wear a mask and stay composed. Seeing that genuine emotion didn't make her seem less professional, it reassured me that she truly cared. In those final moments, your mind races. You question whether you're making the right decision. Seeing her emotion gave me peace because I knew she wasn't simply going through the motions. I knew that if she believed my girl wasn't ready, she would have told me. Most of us are fortunate enough to experience this kind of heartbreak only a few times in our lives. She carries families through it over and over again. That takes an incredible amount of compassion. Thank you for your kindness, your empathy, and for helping my sweet Lilo leave this world peacefully and with dignity. Please take care of yourself, too. The first photo is the day Oliver met Lilo as a puppy, their first photo together. The second was taken just before the veterinarian arrived to help Lilo pass. I didn't realize until later that I had unknowingly captured both the beginning and the end of their story together I will miss my Lilo for eternity.

Dr. Shea was my guide in my time of need. When the final day came, Dr. Erica came to our home. She is this beautiful angel, with the most kind and gentle voice. She helped us walk our precious Stella over the Rainbow bridge in the beauty of silence, reverence, and peace, it was so beautiful. Dr. Erica sent us the most amazing sympathy card a few days later that touched my heart deeply. Honor Pet has not only been there throughout this difficult journey, but their kindness, compassion, professionalism and guidance have meant more to me and my family than they can ever know. Today, Stella is back home at her final resting place, where she belongs...they sent her home to us in this incredible Honor box which carried her remains, a mini glass bottle of her fur, a candle to burn if/when I need to feel her presence, a digital print of her beautiful little "chocolate chip nose" we all loved and adored, a package of Forget-Me-Not seeds to plant in her honor, and a letter conveying their deepest sympathy for our great loss. It was all so overwhelming and thoughtful. If anyone is faced with such a difficult decision as this, and you are like me, confused and doubting whether you're making the right end-of-life choice, I cannot recommend Honor Pet enough. I promise, you will be blessed and given the truth and confidence as to when that right time comes. Stella never suffered, because Dr. Shea went over her symptoms/behavior, but when she started showing signs that she was ready, I recognized them and knew. My Stella no longer is suffering... The devastation over losing a beloved pet cannot be fully described in words, other than this: "Grief is the Price we Pay to Love." I love you my sweet girl, wait for me.

Saying goodbye to Ace was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do, and you and Sunnie made it as peaceful and loving as it could possibly be. The way you cared for him--and for all of us--meant more than I can put into words. You took the time to talk with us and our kids. You explained everything in a way that made sense and bought calm. You made our children feel safe and supported no matter what they were feeling. That meant everything to us. You gave us space and time to say goodbye to our good boy in a way that was meaningful and kind. And the little touches... the blanket under his head, the pets and love you gave, the fur you kept and boxed for our children, the invitation for our kids to write a letter that will be with him forever, the calm and warmth you created--it didn't feel clinical, it felt like family. You gave us a moment we'll always be grateful for in the middle of so much heartbreak. Thank you for the love, compassion, and dignity you gave Ace and our whole family today. We will never forget it.

They were incredibly kind, respectful, and compassionate, making sure Kaid was as comfortable as possible the entire time. They surrounded him with the love he deserved and gave us so much support and comfort too. They thought of everything. When his paws got muddy, they had wet wipes ready. They brought treats and even a blanket to gently rest his head. We also had our other dog there, and they didn't overlook him either. They gave him love and attention so we could focus on saying our final goodbyes. After Kaid passed, they continued to treat him with such gentleness and care. I know I'll replay those final moments in my mind over and over, but I feel at peace knowing how deeply loved and comforted he was. I am so incredibly grateful to Peaceful Pet Services for giving our boy such a loving and peaceful send-off. I truly can't recommend them enough during one of the hardest moments a pet owner can face.

I had no idea what to do. I searched online and called Paws Cause around 3:30 a.m., expecting to leave a message. Stephen answered. He was calm, compassionate, and walked us through how he could help. We were still in shock, so I told him my family and I needed to talk it over and would call back later. He understood completely. A few minutes later, without us asking, he texted a short list of options -- including a couple of pet cremation companies and his recommendation. We used the company he suggested, and it was the right call. We needed more time to process everything, which is why we didn't use Paws Cause's own service that night. Even so, we would not hesitate to recommend Stephen to anyone who needs this kind of help.

Key points: - At origin, THEIR DRIVER FORGOT TO PICK UP OUR DOGS, CAUSING OUR DOGS TO MISS THEIR FLIGHT that was booked a month in advance. - Dogs had to board with that driver, unplanned, for 2 days. - We received no updates about walks, medicating, feeding, bathroom habits during boarding. Only two photos on the first day. - Once our dogs were finally safe and sound at destination, owner of Furry Freight did not follow up with call as promised. - When owner finally returned our call, he told us we were lucky our dogs got on the later flight due to one defecating in kennel (again we had no idea if they were properly walked prior to travel). He boasted about calling airline personally and pulling strings to get our dogs boarded. He also said driver "took it upon himself" to do us "a personal favor" by changing out one kennel mat. (Again, for the dogs he forgot to pick up.) - Owner promised us a partial refund given the situation. (No, money doesn't matter when it comes to our dogs. That was not the point, but it was the very least they could do.). When all was said and done, we got $200 back from over $5k spent. And that was because the driver who forgot about his one job to pick up our dogs, did not charge FF his usual $400 airline check-in fee. Why only $200 back? Because FF had to pay the ground transport destination driver for her time driving on the original departure day, as she was already en route when FF notified her about the missed flight. (As if that was our fault...) Owner also made a point to say it will "take a while" for the refund to hit our credit card. Bottom line: They seemed wonderful. Almost too good to be true. Turns out, it isn't true. Use at your own risk.
