Before selecting what business was going to install my car alarm I called multiple places in the area. I chose Stereo City Pros because the person who answered the phone (Rick) listened to the reason why I was wanting a car alarm and he provided me with a lot of knowledge regarding car alarms and the different options available. When I got to the business I was told I had to wait a couple of hours for the installation to be completed. I thought that was going to feel like a long time but two hours went by quickly because the staff is very friendly and kept me entertained while I was waiting. I recommend this place because of the great customer service and the knowledge they provide to their customers. The other places I called seem to want to get me off the phone quick and did not provide me with much information. I will definitely be returning to stereo City Pros when I'm ready to upgrade my sound system for my car. read more

Got a sub / amp installed on my 2019 Honda Accord Sport. I did my research and made sure to bring it somewhere with a solid history like Stereo City. The install itself was smooth and I though everything was great. When I got home, I noticed my sub was not hitting correctly and also hitting after the car was shut off. I'll admit that when I reached back out to Stereo City about it I was not the most courteous explaining my frustration. Long story short, not only did they make it right.. they honestly went above and beyond with making sure I was happy after the work. It ended up being a bad converter along with additional wiring to resolve my sub hitting after car turning on/off. I don't know for sure if my issues are fully resolved, but I'm confident if I have any further problem at this point they will take care of me. So I recently went to Stereo City Pros to get an alarm installed in my car! To be honest I was a little hesitant when I first went in because I have had trouble for several weeks finding someone that I felt comfortable with doing this installment. To my surprise, as soon as I walked in to Stereo City the team was very welcoming and helpful. All my questions were answered and now I have a great alarm system in my car. Googled this place randomly and walked in--got immediate help! Turned out I had a loose wire in my speaker. One of the employees/owners (shaved head/sleeved tattoos) folded himself inside my trunk for 15 mins. to superglue the wire so I would not have to replace my speakers. NO CHARGE! Super nice and helpful and now I can listen to my radio again. Go to this place people! read more

I needed someone to check the wiring for the stereo because I couldn't receive any radio reception. Waqar told me to bring it in and he'd look at it for free. Other places quoted me from $40-50 just to take a look. Well, when I brought it in, he had his guys look it and fix it--no charge! Dude, he has a customer for life. it cost 100 for a speaker install in my saturn. awesome work and these guys are fast. I came here after I went to the jerks at best buy. Best buy told me that I had to replace my whole deck and wasn't fixable, gave me an estimate of 500+ to get the whole job done. Rick was the best! I called earlier in the day and he told me to stop by when I had time. So I did with my 2 daughters. He worked out a great deal for me. By far the best in town! Got my car in right away because I told him I needed to be out of there in about an hour and a half for my daughters dentist appt. it only took about half this amount of time. Do not waste your time going here. I decided to try using another car audio shop that was closer to my house and I learned my lesson. Sure it was cheaper but this is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for". Everything was smooth up until I got a call saying that one of the harnesses from the deck wasn't there. No biggie because I installed my deck and knew exactly what was missing. On that call I told them I wanted my stock stuff left alone in case I ever got rid of the vehicle. When I went to pick it up low and behold they destroyed the stock speakers to install the new ones. It was closing time for them and I really didn't feel like getting into it at that point so I left and came back the next morning. I explained everything to the guy at the front and he tried telling me that you have to cut up the stock speakers in order to install new ones on my vehicle. I knew that was complete bs because I've been in the car audio game for some time and just to make sure I wasn't going to get lied to I Googled it the night before. They make spacers/adapters for vehicles specifically to avoid having to do this. I asked him again if he stood by his statement that they have to destroy the stock speakers and he said he stood by it. I asked if he wanted to see the spacers I Googled and he replied no and that he did not have them in the shop. Point is if something is going to destroyed or modified YOU LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW FIRST!! Don't assume anything. I said I wanted the stock system replaced and he basically refused to do it. He accused me of trying to get free speakers out of him. I said if that was the case why would I just be asking for the stock ones to be replaced and not asking for something off his shelf. He ended up giving me some cheap JVC speakers (can find online for around $25 each) instead. I took them because I wasn't going to leave based on their word that they'd replace the stock speakers they destroyed. The install wasn't clean either. Fuse holder under the hood was not secured and was just flopping around, power wires were not covered under the hood, amps were not secured and some screws were only screwed halfway in, the subwoofer was facing the wrong way, wire clippings were also scattered about on the floorboard. I also had an amp cooling fan that was in the box of equipment I brought in to get installed but there was no need to install the fan. When I got home after the install the fan wasn't in the box. When I brought that up they told me it was put back in the box. After I insisted it was not they came out of the back with it. I'll never go back here. Easily the worst car audio experience I've ever had and I've been doing car audio for almost 16 years. read more
