The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, while the wings were equally satisfying and crispy (they were able to make me some with no sauce). It was exactly the kind of meal I was hoping for after a full day at the beach and on the road. The location has plenty of parking, which is always a plus in this area, and there is a nice outdoor dining space in front where you can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air while you eat. What really stood out was the customer service. One of the employees working near the deli area, I didn't catch his name, but I remember his distinctive earring and tattoos, provided exceptional service. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that customers had a great experience. The entire store was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Even the restrooms were spotless, which says a lot about how well the business is managed. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be stopping back the next time I'm in the area.

Now imagine it costs twice as much as Whole Foods. Boom. The only reason why it's 3.5 on 5 is the exceptional customer service. Really really nice and down to earth staff. You'd only go there if you are a tourist or a local who doesn't want to drive to a decent grocery store. Everything is mediocre. Ingredients are not clean. There's a lot of variety, from cut fruits to breakfast burritos, baguettes to bagels, sandwiches to poke. Many of the wraps and sandwiches looked sad and dry. $12 for cut papayas and $19 for small cut mixed fruits (if you are thinking organic, nada conventional). It's still decent to pickup overpriced staples in a rush, convenience, but not for stocking up your kitchen. Will we be back, probably, since any other store in western Malibu is a minimum half hour commute.

The customer care of the cashier was unwelcoming. I had to make her speak. I went to scan my Amazon code and she told me I wouldn't need it and proceeded to continue ringing up my items. I didn't think anything of it until she belted out over $40 total. She ignored that I told her I had a salad and still rang it all up as hot food. I didn't want to hold up her line so I got my receipt and change. I stepped aside and walked towards the eating utensils reviewed my receipt with my husband. I went back to tell her of the error. She had left her register or even better- maybe a manager noticed her rudeness and took her away. I knew the 2 coconut waters were $13. But being charged $28 for a hot meal in total when I had a small salad & small Mac/ch, ridiculous! She even saw the dressing and lettuce because I couldn't get the top closed securely. This is a lesson well learned! I'm not going to stop visiting this thriving shopping area not Whole Foods but I definitely will not go in the checkout line of this cashier. If the store did an audit of each cashier of May 25 between 11:30a and 2:00 pmand check for a charge for the aforementioned, they'll definitely pinpoint the clerk. I also got $40 cash back when I checked out. I can't write a description because it'll get flagged like the original post was. I had to delete the description of the employee. My rating would otherwise be a 5 but for her attitude, incompetence and lack of integrity. Everyone else and the whole vibe is awesome.

We're there 1-2 times a month with a few of our dogs, plus a couple of pups we sponsor from a local shelter. It's such a good way for people to meet the dogs in person--and for the dogs to get a day filled with sunshine, snacks, and all the love they can soak up. And every time we're there, Deb swings by to meet the pups and help us boost them on social. She's the best. The Market itself has such an easy, happy vibe. Produce, flowers, avocado toast, vintage finds--you name it. And of course, that classic Malibu weather doesn't hurt. It's usually good...and often downright perfect.

Ambiance: everyone is there for the prepared foods and smoothies. The grocery aisles were fairly empty. There's a few bar stools by the entrance so we ate there but most take to go. Parking: very small light with complimentary valet. Luckily we got a spot. Note there's a 30 minute parking limit! Price: $53 for the above 3 items.

Paying a fee and getting a vendor license for a farmers' market in Los Angeles does not confer property rights, and you cannot block patrons from passing by. I expect a vendor who has been selling at the farmers' market for some time to know that. I don't understand how someone who does not demonstrate appropriate maturity and professionalism when interacting with the public can continue to operate a stand at a farmers' market.
