They…read moremechanic said that a house needed to be replaced, but they were not able to do it because they do not have the equipment needed to evacuate the existing refrigerant 1234yf. They referred us to the Kia dealer, which I knew would be very expensive. So I did some research online and found Franklynn Automotive. I called and described the situation to Steve. He said they likely can handle it, but would start with a complimentary second opinion. After their inspection, they determined that the hose does not need to be replaced and we only needed to refresh the refrigerant, which they do have the equipment for. In addition, the reason the other shop might have suggested the hose replacement was because of a leak related to the axel. All in, the repairs would be substantially less than the dealer quote for work that may not have been needed in the first place. Overall, great experience with Franklynn.

He was the reason I wanted to get the suspension serviced here as his explanation of what I needed done showed his mastery of his craft. However after taking the car to Tesla to get a 2nd opinion I discovered that this shop (not the tech) was trying to charge me literally a 200% markup on the parts to do the repair. Crazy right!!! The genuine Tesla parts for the repair were $209 and these guys quoted those same parts out to $614 (I sent him the estimate from Tesla with the exact cost of the parts). Unfortunately for me Tesla wouldn't work on the car because of an aftermarket body kit the previous owner had installed. I really liked the mechanic at this shop, so I went back to this shop with the intention to move forward even though their cost was literally 56% more ($1,635 vs $2,555) then Tesla for the same work (because of the price gouging on the parts). Then when I asked about it before my approval to move forward the manager got snarky and said how would you expect us to stay in business if we don't markup the parts. I said and I quote "I get a markup on the parts and your high hourly rate for the labor on the work but not a 200% markup on the parts." The guy gave an excuse about the software they use but was unwilling to budge on the price gouging. I literally said why don't you let me buy the parts directly from Tesla and you can still mark them up 25% and he still said no. I was completely professional throughout the conversation, but obviously would not pay a 200% markup on parts on top of the already top of market labor they charge. After the conversation he texted me back and we agreed to not move forward. I only leave this review to warn others. It's a bad business practice to over charge people like that and so I just wanted to give people my story warning them to watch out and be careful before doing any work here. Update: this slime ball's disclosure of all the information I gave his manager, Steve, in good faith is abhorrent. Everything he mentioned on the car was told to them right up front as I told it to the manager, Steve, in person and this clown is repeating word for word what I told his manager. I was cool with this at first but this guy is a complete scum bag now using my own words and lying about it. Anyways besides being a scum bag, no effort at all was made regarding the parts and this shops 200% markup. I literally told the guy running the shop I would buy the parts myself and let them mark it up 25% and still the answer was a quick no. Everything I said was honest and accurate and don't appreciate this guy claiming transparency when his long shpeel was essentially just a my own words complaining about the car I bought and his shops poor excuse for price gauging. They could have done the job without gauging me on the price given I had the option to buy the parts myself. Not cool at all the response from this guy and his piss poor excuse for attempting to rip me off.

Will helped me every step of the way--he was knowledgeable, transparent, and took the time to explain my options so I felt comfortable with the decision. The communication throughout everything was excellent, and I really appreciated how helpful and honest Will was. Overall, I'm very pleased with the service and the experience. I'll definitely be coming back to Christian Brothers Automotive for any future automotive needs. Highly recommend! -Shaffer

This was probably one of the worst recommendations I could have received, as I drove my car off the lot I noticed it was a bit of a rougher ride and then a few days later came back reporting a sound of bottoming out. They inspected the suspension and sent me on my way telling me everything is just fine. This continues to happen and I take it into a different location that tells me the same thing. I then drive the truck 2000 miles and move states only to experience the same thing, get another shit recommendation from Will to go to Firestone where they literally can't work on performance suspension, meaning that after they of all people identify that my rear shocks are shot and bottoming out because they are the wrong size, they had to send me to another shop to get the warranty filled. After a million back and forth phone calls, holding for calls never answered or returned from Will and his team, I finally get the repair done and it takes 4 days to get a check shipped to me for the remaining balance from the new shop. I initially thought I had a great experience with Christian brothers but I will never come back and I hope they train they're staff a bit better before letting them recommend shit that makes your car worse.

I came here after a nightmare experience at a nearby competitor that ended in a blatant $1,400 bait and switch on a lease deal. I was ready to walk away from the whole thing. I walked in hoping to prepay a 24-month lease and was bracing myself for a battle just to get close to what the other place had originally promised. Not only did Kenny beat that number out the door, but he also took the time to offer real advice that showed me this dealership actually values long-term relationships--not just quick sales. After Kenny locked in the numbers, I worked with Matt, the salesperson, who was patient, understanding, and genuinely helpful. He walked me through the features of the car without the usual pushy vibe you get elsewhere. I wrapped everything up with Grant in finance. Super sharp guy--he was transparent about every line item, walked me through the optional add-ons, and even gave me solid insight into what the dealer checks for at lease turn-in. Zero surprises. In an industry full of games and gimmicks, this team was a breath of fresh air. Kenny especially deserves a shoutout--if he could turn my day around after what I'd just gone through, I have no doubt he'll take care of you and your family too.

I called and they said they had to order a part. I asked what issue they were ordering a part for and they did not know so they researched it and informed me. They told me it would take 3 days to get a part. So my car was sitting at the dealership for 2 weeks before it was fixed. Very little communication during that time frame. They arranged a Lyft service for me to get a loaner car that I ended up using for 2 week. They have a relationship with Lyft and that did not go well and was charged for 4 rides versus 2. Lyft would not do any thing. The dealership would not either. So I had a $100 fee on my credit card. The dealership they could do nothing about that. Really? The Service Manager agreed I did not have to fill the gas tank on the loaner and they filled up my gas tank. All in all it was not a great experience. When the dealership was in a different location it was a smaller operation but had great customer service. I'm not sure I will be returning to this particular location.

That ripped open a protective flap, which dragged on the pavement as I drove home. My son and his fiance were coming to town, and I didn't want to pick them up with a grinding noise under the hood, or to have the flap fall off and get lost. The next morning I had to be downtown at 9:00 am, after which I would need the car all day. So I showed up 7:00 a.m. at a repair shop I'd used before. I didn't expect they could fix it on the spot, but hoped they could at least diagnose the problem and remove the flap so I could save it. But they couldn't even look at it until the afternoon. Rushing over, I made by 7:15 it to Town Center Auto Repair, where Tommy, the owner, helped me out. The mechanic already on duty was busy, but when Josh, a second mechanic, arrived at 7:30,Tommy put him right on it. After inspecting it, Josh set to work and quickly welded it back together. I made that 9:00 appointment on time, with the car all fixed and ready for my family. Thanks to Tommy and Josh, I didn't have to wait or spend extra money on a replacement part. Kudos to them both!
