Had the guy come out to pour a slab 10'x12'x4" I k ow this is 1.5 yards I have had concrete delivered several times there's tons of calculators on line and using basic math anyone knows that it is equals to 1.5 yards this guy charged my friend for 2.5 yards yes she's a female and didn't k ow any better but this dude is a blatant thief and a coward and won't respond to a single message asking to see the photos of the before and after on the counter just a simple response would be nice but to just read it and that's it lol yeah dudes a thief I wonder how weights and measures will be able to help on this read more

I wasn't really intending on posting this review, but it has now been four days with no call back, so I'm not really sure what else to do. My review is not one that will be based on the service of the company, but a driver is theirs and their ability (or lack there of) to return phone calls. I had the unfortunate "pleasure" of ending up behind one of their drivers Monday (6/14/21) morning on southbound 70, just outside of Marysville in my brand new car. He must have had a load full of sand or something like that COMPLETELY uncovered because he was spraying dirt, sand, and tiny rocks (it appeared) on my car and the dozen of other cars behind him. In my 15 years of driving, it was the WORST I have ever been sprayed from a truck- by FAR. I, along with everyone else behind him, was trying to get away from him and back off but it was next to impossible to do so or to pass him because he kept changing lanes every 1/2 mile or less with no blinkers and very suddenly- I watched him almost get in 2 collisions within a 5 mile stretch. It was BAD. One driver even pulled over on the side of the highway because he couldn't get away from him and then pulled back on shortly after. I never call companies and report drivers, but this guy was driving recklessly as it was, not even including the sand and rock flying everywhere! I seriously don't see how it could have been possible that his load of whatever it was was covered. I had my daughter take photos of his license plate and the side of the truck and attempted to call twice on Monday morning right after this happened. I left two voicemails. It is now Friday and I have still not gotten a call back. I can't say I'm surprised though. But seriously, even just an "oh, Im sorry that happened" would have sufficed. The owner needs to re-evaluate his drivers and make sure they are covering their load properly. I am sure if my call had been a potential customer calling to inquire about their business, I would have gotten a call back shortly after. Whenever I do need sand, gravel, rock, concrete or whatever else they sell- it most definitely will NEVER be from this company and I will be sharing my thoughts with any friend, family, or acquaintance looking for a recommendation. read more

I only gave it a 1 star, because you cannot leave it blank. I took a bucket of rocks from my backyard of what I wanted to purchase. I showed it to the worker at the desk and he told me it was a certain type of rock so I was having it delivered on Friday between 11 and 12 o'clock. I received a call from them on Friday to see if I still wanted it delivered because of the rain and I said yes and then the delivery time to later. But my point to this post is not to take their word for the rock that they chose for you without seeing it I made a big mistake by not doing that, trusting that they were professional and knew about rock. When I received the rock and the worker came over to put it in my backyard, that's when I discovered it was the wrong rock. It was gray rock I wanted some brown colors. I called to tell them that it was the wrong rock. He said there's nothing he could do so. my worker took the rock back and had to argue with the people to get a refund. Finally, the owner said give him a refund. They were very unprofessional rude. Do not know how to articulate to a customer and be respectful. Just remember, if you do decide to go get rock from there make sure you see it before you buy it and have it delivered. Do not trust their word that it is the correct rock that you want make sure you see it. You can definitely tell the difference between brown and gray. read more

I went in on a Tuesday afternoon to check out topsoil options, the helpful samples available inside the front office made my decision very easy. I placed my order for 50/50 topsoil and also scheduled a delivery that Friday. Very helpful front office staff, all the way down to the delivery driver. I scheduled a 10a-11a delivery time and to my surprise, I received a courtesy call from the driver for an earlier than expected delivery, so by 9:30a I had my soil delivery. When Saturday came around, my guys arrived on time, I got a call saying the the rock would be late, due to truck issues. At 11, I called and was told the rock would be there by 11:30. At noon I called and was told the rock would not be coming. When asked why I was not told this at 9am when originally scheduled, the guy said I do t know. Do not go here if you are big on honesty and communication. We purchased rock through them on a Friday with a Monday delivery commitment. The day we purchased, they had a full bay of material. Monday the time came for delivery, and we had planned our day for this, but nobody showed or called. My wife called and they said that the delivery truck was broken down, and rescheduled for Thursday. Thursday same situation no show, no call... When we called they said that the material we purchased was back ordered. This is where the lying showed clearly because how could you have a full bay of material, with a broken down truck and somehow run out of the material? I had to pay for storage for my RV and rearrange two days for nothing but hassle and just ended up requesting a refund for my materials. So overall my cost was $200 to store my RV elsewhere and no materials. Further, the gentleman I spoke to yesterday, was the same person today, and even denied that he was the same person. We had an opportunity to use Steve's last week as the supplier of ready-mix concrete for two slabs and mow strips in our yard. Steve used his truck that mixes the concrete on site. You use and pay for only what comes out of the truck and the concrete is not mixed until it is ready to be dropped into the wheelbarrow. No waste, no clean-up, a great way to have a delivery of a small load and pay for only what you need. The truck is capable of large loads, too, but I believe Steve will deliver as small a load as a half yard. The concrete is accurately measured as it dispenses from the truck. State of the art concrete delivery at a great price. On time delivery, no mess, no fuss. Mix was perfect. Steve is very easy to work with and I highly recommend giving his company an opportunity to help with your concrete needs. Ordered 4 yards of redwood bark. When product was dumped, a huge cloud of dirt overtook the area. After looking at the bark it had lots of dirt, rocks & appeared to be recycled bark. Some were colored white because it looked like it had mold in it. If we could return it we would but there is a long process to prove that the product was not as expected. My advice is to look at the product before you purchase!! Buyer be aware!! read more

Very unhappy with the service I received from this company. The second dump truck driver bent my son's truck rack, broke my fence, bent my stock gate, and destroyed my aerator. Driver did not know what he was doing and was very careless. As of 10 days the company has yet to make efforts to repair the damages or replace destroyed items. Coming from a small business owner myself, I was so frustrated and shocked on how they handled my order which we placed on Weds 04/08/20 & confirmed with them again on Thursday. Both times they reassured my staff that our order was scheduled for Saturday 04/11/20 @ 8AM & said that their driver had all of our info. Saturday rolls around & it's passed 8AM. I myself was passed around and 1 staff member said they were on their way then I received a call direct from the Owner Steve telling me that we were not on schedule and he didn't understand why his staff would tell us that we were on schedule. I give this a big NO STAR!!!! If you care about wild life or environment do not buy from them!! There truck busted the Hydraulics which the hydraulic fluid spilling everywhere and witch the driver used a house to spray it off into the drain( it wouldn't work cuz its oil and oil and water don't work together ams thats not how you clean oil spills )! This happened at 11 am and around 350pm i called them cuz they dis not clean it up yet. After telling him I'm calling the city they showed up 20 min after which all they did was spread white powder around with didn't cover everything nor clean the city drains. They also said they will be back the next day to clean it up witch they never came so called the city on them and have the city come out and clean it correctly!! He never showed up, never called or bothered picking up his phone. I had to pay the workers for the hours spent waiting on him (eventually sent them home). Finally I was able to get another company towards the end of the day to come out last minute and help me. THEN he finally picks up, doesn't apologize and says his phone was off. NICE! Save yourself a waste of a day, money, labor and go with someone else. This place is a rip off! They changed our order and delivered the wrong material. Apparently we were supposed to sign the receipt before they off loaded the truck but the driver didn't give us the paperwork until it was too late and dumped it in front of our house. Not to mention you sign paperwork saying that they will deliver even if you aren't there to verify the order. When we called to get the correct material delivered, they tried to up sell us on something completely unnecessary. Now they are charging us $100 to pick up the material that they delivered incorrectly. And threatened that if we don't pay it they are going to charge us for the whole load. It's $25 charge to deliver but $100 to pick up something that they messed up! Talk about a scam and horrible customer service! We have more material we need and will definitely be taking our business elsewhere. read more

I got the run around until 3 pm. What a frustrating experience! First, I ordered 1 yard with the concrete buggy but when I got to the yard it was broken and the kid couldn't find the tools to fix it. Luckily I had tools and repaired the engine and got it running before I left. Second, I ordered 2 yards from the on-site batch plant. To start, Steve was an hour late to my job site. Once we got started the first four wheelbarrows were soup, and Steve kept arguing with me about cutting down the water. He finally did and it came out correct. Towards the end of the pour his cement chute clogged and the concrete came out dry and full of too much aggregate. I had to hand mix two wheelbarrows to get the consistency correct. Throughout the pour Steve kept coming back to see what was taking so long and complaining to me about his schedule, even though he was an hour late. It's honestly taking me longer to get this review written then it took me to both order and have delivered the gravel I needed. From my first contact with Savannah to the driver who dropped off my gravel I was impressed with the professionalism, service, genuine kindness and helpfulness of the staff. When I called back to say thank you, I got to talk to Heather, who is just as nice as the other two. When I first called I wasn't 100% sure what I needed, but I explained my job to Savannah and she made a recommendation. I was able to get 4 yards for a little more than twice what I would've paid for 1 yard because of the delivery fee she was nice enough to tell me about. I ordered it, paid for it, and it was to be delivered about 10 minutes after my phone call. In fact, the driver got to the site about a minute after I did. When I told him where I wanted it, he was reluctant to put it there because he was afraid he would get stuck in the mud, but he noticed our forklift and told me if I would be willing to pull him out, he would put it where I wanted it. Before dumping it, he asked me if I wanted it spread out, and was just generally helpful and trying to do exactly what I needed. I was super stressed about getting the stuff for my job in time, but these guys made it super easy and I will definitely use them again in the future.
