All I can say is that this place ia amazing. I would highly recommend this place if you need a special order door or casings or shelves. They got everything you need. Also i would have to say that the costumer service is amazing. i can tell you from my experience. I like that they are always helping you load your order. . About the costumer service front desk assistance lady is the best and most understandable person I have ever meet. I have had an incident on the road and I've lost some of the material. However when i came back to the store, she asked me what happened and then she gave me a little bit of a discount even though it was not even her fault. Its a pleasure to do business with these guys. We are a local contractor and have used them for years. They have gotten worse and worse over time. We tried to stick it out and finally on our last 2 jobs we used them on, they made us look bad with our customers due to their lack of performance and follow through. In December, we fired them and went to Homewood in Loomis. They actually answer their phones, call you back and return emails within the same day! Today, I get an email from Julie at Heritage One, telling us that they will no longer service our account because they could not perform for us? So she is wasting time writing me a nasty letter instead of servicing actual customers! It is sad that she feels she has nothing better to do! I can go on and on with my horrible experiences over the years, but I have actual work to do, unlike Heritage One Door! NO STARS!!!!! read more

I only come here because they are close to my properties and hd supply (which is excellent), this place is horrible at customer service, the lady and guy hate their jobs and lives! No service, they treat you like an idiot and don't even want or care to help you...the owners or management should be ashamed and get rid of these people ASAP. They don't deserve even one star, but I'll give them that because they have ok prices and their work is good. I have purchased thousands of linear feet of material from here , literally. Not once did I think anything was wrong with pricing or sales dept. will call, super busy. At one time they would not let you in if you were not a contractor. Credentials would have to be locked and loaded if they didn't know you. There was signs. If you are a diy or a clueless home owner go to the home box stores. This would be considered a specialty Millwork and door shop not for people to look and ask questions. We are professional and prefer to be in and out and on to the next one. Please before you say anything else think about the scope of work you were performing and than maybe you will see the obvious retraction of your words. Horrible customer service. Went in and no one was in the showroom. Not even an employee. She finally came in and proceeded to basically ignore me. When she finally talked to me, she acted like she didn't want to be bothered. They may cater to contractors, but it is the homeowner making the design decisions. We were driving on the way to Sacramento when when got we into a near-accident with one of their drivers -- truck #97 license plate 81385R1 at around 1:50pm on May 17, 2018. In a merging lane this driver cut us off and flipped us off twice as if it was our fault. We further observed that this driver from this company is aggressive and should NOT be on the road. read more

We have done several remodels and our contractor said Heritage was the way to go for doors and trim. I was surprised at the savings on both and have done 3 houses with them since. Not only are their prices better than the big box stores the service is professional. They are not a huge company. Not a home depot and they don't have numerous employees standing around, hence the great prices. But when you ask for expertise you get perfection. Julie Santos is our go to for all our needs. She is patient, professional, courteous and always happy regardless of the mountain of phone calls she fields daily as well as the customers coming into the show room. I highly recommend this business and will continue to use them for all our building needs. read more

I have called I would guess about 50 times in the last six month, and they've answered one time. She said she'd call back but guess what...nope. read more

I had a fantastic experience with Heritage One thanks to Julie in the front sales office. I am new to the construction business and she made it super easy and took the extra time to walk me through all of my questions and explain things to me. Her customer service was excellent and I was very impressed with her follow through. We had some issues on our end with our project and she came through and helped rush some new doors we needed. I have some feedback for the owners of this business however. I noticed the few times I was in the office the sales people are so busy with face to face customers it's impossible for them to answer the phones as well bc they are trying to give good customer service. I noticed a lot of the negative reviews have to do with no one answering phones/lack of communication etc. If I was in charge I would look into hiring a front desk person to field questions, answer timing on orders etc. and keep Julie and other front office guy focused on their great customer service. I even noticed some really rude customers waiting in line and Julie handled them with the utmost respect and kindness. She is a true gem. I work for a designer and I look forward to working with Julie again. read more

I recently visited Heritage one door in North Highlands to purchase doors and molding for a very large home project that I have going on Julie the girl at the sales counter was especially knowledgeable and helpful and I will definitely be using Heritage one door and Julie for all of my projects in the future very impressed with the amount of molding and door choices they had in stock I would definitely recommend them for anybody looking for interior trim or any type of door project read more

This used to be A1 door and when they were A1 they were great - Now I dare you to get someone to answer the phone - it never happens - makes you wonder if it is a front for something else. So went to their store and waited and waited and waited. I finally went to the side of the business where that admin and mgmt folks are. A nice guy said he would get someone right away - then I waited and waited and waited. I got him again and made him listen while I tried to call their main number and show him that yes there was a gal by the phone but no she doesn't pick it up. Thought for sure it would be fixed by now but nope. There products are actually pretty good but their service has quantum leaps of improvement opportunity. read more

I wish I could give this business no stars. I visited their showroom today and waited at the counter while one person was talking in a foreign language on the phone - like a personal call and the other seemed to be doing nothing. Finally, she asked if she could help us with anything. We explained what we were looking for. She told us what we could and couldn't do to resolve our problem. Handed us some booklets and went away. The worse customer service ever! Then, to make matters worse, my husband thought he might have left his house keys in the showroom so we tried to call the showroom. No option on their recording to reach the showroom. I tried the option for checking on an order and got a recording that were busy with other customers and to leave a message and they would call back. When we entered the showroom (such as it is) there were two employees at the desk and 1 customer browsing a catalog so I can't imagine they are too busy to answer the phone. Thus, I would not use their services due to the poor quality of customer service and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more
