    Cool decor!

I have been coming to this location of Stew's Barber Shop consistently since 2012. The proprietor, Stew, is an awesome guy who is a very accomplished individual and has a fantastic crew of professionals - Among them is Caroline. Caroline has been cutting my hair since I retired from the Marine Corps back in 2012. She is extremely conscientious and thoughtful, and the result is an awesome haircut! Additionally, Caroline always has a smile, is very engaging and above all, she's a genuinely nice person. Are you looking for a great haircut by a true professional? Well, come to Stew's off Rancho California and Margarita in Temecula and be sure to ask for Caroline! You'll leave looking great with a smile on your face.

I've been taking my boys to Stews for almost 10 years since we got to Temecula. It's quick, consistent and always a good haircut. Stew's is always professional and friendly. Even with my boys having 3 weird cowlicks, he makes it work. My boys haircut has change with the times, Stew always knows how to hook it up. Here's a few pics over the few years. Thanks Stew

Don't come here for a women's undercut touch up. I thought I got a deal walking out with a $5 clean up in 5 minutes, but I was mistaken. I think I would've felt differently if the barber told me what she did right then and there, but when I got home and brushed my hair out, a HUGE chunk of hair came out. Not ok. My undercut lines are now uneven, and it's upsetting. It's not that hard to find a barber that can do an undercut touch up, but to do one properly is another situation. I thought that by calling ahead and asking if this is a service they offer, that would be smart. I will not be coming back here ever again. I don't appreciate disturbing surprises like this one.

Hard part done by stew's barber shop.

Came in to stew's barber shop (the one right next to the Albertsons on Rancho California rd) asking for a comb over with a hard part. I was very specific as to how I wanted it cut. I had asked beforehand if they use a straight razor and my barber told me no because she's a cosmetologist. She then stated that she "does hard parts a thousand times a day" And told me if I'm not going to like it then I shouldn't get it cut there. Guess I should've listened to her. I would've thought that someone who does this haircut a thousand times a day would be able to follow the line of my previous hard part. It was clear she was struggling especially because she took a really long time to do it. Overall, stay away. It was 17$ for the cut. For 20$ down the street you can get a barber to cut your hair, line you up with a straight razor, and give you a hot towel shave.

I was a regular here until I found a Stew's closer to home. This place is great. Fun atmosphere (HUGE amount of old stuff all over to look at), TV, and toys in the waiting area. REALLY friendly barbers! The usual small talk with updates on how your cut is coming along and suggestion/questions on how you might change it. Overall, it's a great cut almost everytime. $15 for a men's cut as of this posting.

Best time ever with my autistic son. Stew was great, he used the quietest clippers he had and talked to my son the entire time. Awesome

Jay cut my son's hair, gave us exactly what we asked for and was patient with my toddler's movements. I never expect my active toddler's hair to be cut perfectly but Jay was able to line him up and make him look great! As a whole, the shop was clean and everyone there was chill and welcoming. We live a bit away from the shop but because of the service I am willing to drive back out

So disappointing. Overpriced, bad service, argumentative…read more I stopped by Sunset Barbershop in Temecula for a quick walk-in neck cleanup and left feeling completely ripped off. A barbershop that isn't busy on a Saturday morning should've made me suspicious, but I was feeling optimistic. Wrong. The barber seemed inexperienced and the service felt rushed. I specifically asked for a simple neck cleanup, which took only a few minutes, yet they charged $20 for that tiny touch-up while a full haircut is only $35. That pricing makes absolutely no sense and feels like they're taking advantage of walk-ins. Everyone was friendly enough at first to get you in the door, but once the service was done the attitude changed. The manager didn't seem service-oriented at all and showed no interest in making the situation right. For a place that should value repeat customers, this experience made it clear they don't. Avoid this barbershop -- you probably won't want to come back a second time. The barber even missed hairs on my neck that were covered by the itchy paper around my neck. Careless. Do better, Sunset!
