First time to Stiles and did not disappoint! They have a great menu, cozy atmosphere, outdoor seating and the staff were all friendly. And the sandwich was amazing!!!

The service is awesome everyone is so friendly and always helpful. Top notch customer service! The food is always amazing. The wings are always good! I tried these specialty wings and they were so yummy. I always forget to take pics when I come here. When I realize I should have taken pics I've already eaten my food. The half chicken plate is great. Always clean and love the music they play. Love the margaritas!!!!I always get one to go. Stick it in the freezer for later! My go to BBQ always!!!!

Excellent BBQ in Cedar Park. Better than others in my humble opinion. Wife's brisket was outstanding. I had the special sausage for the month of June - kielbasa - and it was excellent. Also had some pork ribs but not as good at the brisket and sausage. Sides were outstanding. Corn casserole some of the best anywhere. Like eating dessert. There are three locations in the Austin area. I think the Austin location is the one in the Texas Monthly Top 50, but this one was somewhat on our route home.

I am truly blessed to live so close to a barbecue gem!! When family visits the area. This BBQ is an easy win. All other sides are tasteful and the BBQ doesn't need any sauce because the dry rub used is perfect. If you want to know what Austin barbecue tastes like then this is your place. Good service in a Texas pit of flavors.

So I really like stiles switch on Lamar and was in this area so thought I'd give it a try. The place looked super nice and clean. Staff were very helpful and quick with it. No complaints there. I hate to say but it's definitely below par when it came to the meats. Just wasn't the same. All of it was a lot tougher. The sausage seemed under cooked. The brisket wasn't hitting like the one on Lamar. The wings were even chewy. It wasn't enjoyable. Sides were all good. But whatever is different between the two, I hope they fix that asap. I won't be revisiting this site.

I've been visiting here for the last 3 months. Being a biased North Carolinian, I couldn't find a BBQ joint that I loved let alone liked. But one day my partner and I visited on a quiet afternoon. It was packed at all (although I've been here on days it is). We shared a three meat combo; brisket, burnt ends, and pork ribs with Mac and cheese and baked beans... with a sweet tea of course. The brisket was tender and juicy! It came with a side of sauce but I preferred it plain. The burnt ends fulfilled all of my taste buds desires!!! Sweet, salty, tangy, kick of spice. And as for the pork ribs, the pulled off the bone with ease. I will say on the first visit, the mean what heavily season with coarse ground pepper which could've been over powerful for some but something told me to try it on another day and it wasn't like that. So I would say there are probably a rotation of cooks. The beans were good not sweet like the Carolinas but they were good. And as for the macaroni/shells and cheese, I've noticed throughout Texas they all have a Velveta based sauce. It has a thick and creamy texture to it. I will also like to add that I've placed an order on UberEats and via phone call. The in-person customer service is far superior than on the phone. And to the worker name Cole, I'll never forget the laugh you gave when you thought I was with the large party. We laugh about it each time I visit. Haha. I love this place and I'm so happy to have found it.

I've been here a few times now since we visit our family in Austin occasionally. This is an excellent location for delicious bbq if you don't want to deal with long waits. The seating inside is comfortable and air conditioned. They offer outdoor seating in the front patio, too. The service at the ordering counter is friendly and helpful, very much a staple of Texas. The bbq meats are all delicious. The brisket and pork ribs are off the charts. Very tender, smokey, and flavorful; I love that sweet glaze finish they add to the ribs. The turkey and pulled pork were good, too, but pretty on par with many other bbq joints. The sides are decent, but the stars are brisket and ribs. Do your self a favor and visit this place anytime in Cedar Park.

A lot of my fellow yelpers are bragging on this place and there's over 350 reviews. I've enjoyed their Lamar location in Austin, which is what had me coming here. In case you're not in the mood for barbecue, there are some other restaurants in the same strip center. Rosatis pizza, Momo sushi and Shiplys donuts next door. There's even P Terry's directly across the street. Inside there's plenty of seating, including covered seating outdoors. I do like the fact they have a one to three meat combo, but boy are they expensive! Before you order you can grab a dessert, beverage, small bottle of wine or an iced down beer in their trough. As you proceed through the line, they'll slice, plate and prepare your order. At the checkout, I was surprised they didn't flip the tip screen over on me, but there is a tip line on the bill for you to fill out or add to the jar. They do have some daily specials and on my visit it was some really delicious looking brisket burgers. I have to admit their potato salad and coleslaw are above average, especially with some jalapeños that are sliced into the coleslaw adding some heat. All the meat was tender, juicy, and had the perfect smoke ring. Their post oak smoked course ground peppered meats could compete with the best. Their barbecue sauce is the perfect match and their soft yellow potato bread is a great pairing. I got my order to go, and when I got home, I discovered they had accidentally given me a free order of their homemade fries. Definitely a great barbecue dining spot worthy of the price. Just check out my bill below. Nine photos included to entice you.

4.5 My husband and I returned to Stiles Switch BBQ as we were in the area. We drove up, parked, went in line , placed our order, got our food, and then paid and sat down to eat in the restaurant. We both ordered the brisket sandwich and a side of potato salad and a tater tots casserole. The brisket sandwich was delicious and very filling. The potato salad was good as it had chunks of potatoes which I liked. The tator tot casserole surprised me. It was yummy. It had tator tots with cheese, chives, and bacon. Overall it is still one of my favorite BBQ places to stop at when I'm in the area. Tasty and filling BBQ with good sides. I will return in the future.

    A little bit of everything...

When in Texas... you have to try the Texas barbecue! Coming from Kansas City, going somewhere else to have barbecue is an adventure. Stiles is was so good! The beef ribs were so tender and tasty and the jalapeño sausage and the pork belly burnt ends had amazing flavor. Also followed up with banana pudding. It was a great place to eat with great flavors.

I'll be honest, their menu has A LOT going on but if you try a few things I doubt they'll disappoint. While this is a mid-upper range priced BBQ the quality is fairly consistent each time with a good portion of food. I don't eat brisket that much anymore cause it disagrees with my body but theirs is so tasty. Also if you like turkey PLEASE try theirs it's so flavorful. Their mac and cheese is okay like 7/10, tasty but not my favorite. Their brussels sprouts are good. Their fries are good. Their cornbread casserole is very delicious also. These are all items i've had multiple times and can safely recommend. Usually experience pretty quick service and am on my way soon thereafter. Good eats!

Delicious food great place tohang out with friends or family. The meat were well cooked and seasoned.Cheese tot casseroles were super delicious and cheesy loved the texture on it, brussel sprout helps complement the saltiness of the barbecue.

    How do I order curbside?

I would try calling ahead and tell them what car you are in so they can bring it out to you. I did not see specific pickup stalls since the dining room is open.

I know this is a bad question but is there anything I can get a very picky light eater who doesn't eat much I assume they don't have kids meals? Perhaps like a sausage link with a side or share one of my side is that the best thing?

All of the sides are delicious. The healthiest one would be the cucumber & tomato salad with or without feta. It's so good! The bbq turkey is also very good and on the lighter side. I also think you can also add a sausage link to any meal but I'm… Read more

I highly recommend getting a full spread to try all their offerings but whatever you do, DON'T SKIP THE PEACH TEA GLAZED PORK BELLY! FAST FACTS: * Parking - located in a strip shopping center with a decent size lot in front * Online ordering - you can pre-order and schedule a pick up order (must be at least 3 days in advance) * Open Wednesday - Sunday from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm (or sold out) * Water available while waiting in line * Order meats first and then sides and desserts * Sauces are self-serve by the to-go containers to pack up leftovers We arrived at 8:15 am (almost 3 hours before opening) on a Sunday morning and were first in line (the next group arrived around 8:30 am). By the time they opened at 11:00 am, there were probably 50 people in line. SERVICE - Always impressed by Interstellar's hospitality! They make conversation with you while taking your order and preparing the food. There's also a worker floating around helping with clearing trays, getting leftover containers, etc. I spoke with Warren while waiting in line and told him about how much I love the pork belly... within minutes, he brought a piece for each of us to sample while waiting. Then, I mentioned that it was my dad's birthday when ordering my meats and the slicers threw in an extra pork rib which was above and beyond! PRICING - The total was $321.10 after tax ($24.48) but before tip for the following: * 2.01 lb brisket ($84.42) * 1.59 lb peach tea glazed pork belly ($57.24) * 0.92 lb pork ribs ($33.12) * 0.52 lb pulled lamb shoulder ($18.72) * 0.51 lb (1 link) beef Kielbasa sausage ($15.30) * 0.46 lb (1 link) Polish sausage ($13.80) * 0.54 lb (1 link) lamb merguez sausage ($20.52) * 1 qt of poblano creamed corn ($19) * 1 qt of four cheese mac ($19) * 1 pt of smoked scallop potatoes ($10) * 1 single of tomato zucchini salad ($5.50) House made pickles, pickled onions, sliced white bread, and sauce are complimentary. The pricing is slightly higher than other barbecue places in Texas but that's the "Michelin Star" tax at work! BRISKET (10/10) - This is some of my favorite brisket in Texas (along with Franklin's and Goldee's)... it's incredibly juicy, it's seasoned well with salt and pepper, the bark is flavorful without being overpowering, and the smoke ring is visible. You can request lean, fatty, and/or burnt ends. PEACH TEA GLAZED PORK BELLY (11/10) - I think this is the only food item I've ever given a 11/10 to but it's THAT GOOD! There is just nothing like this anywhere else... it's a unique offering and really sets Interstellar apart. You get cubes of super tender pork belly coated in a sweet peach tea glaze... it literally melts in your mouth and is like candy. PORK RIBS (8/10) - They're tender but don't completely fall off the bone which is exactly what I like. They're seasoned well but don't stand out as much as some of the other proteins. PULLED LAMB SHOULDER (8/10) - Very tender and juicy but it just isn't as flavorful as some other pulled lamb that I've had at other barbecue places (KG BBQ has my favorite). SAUSAGES (9/10) - All 3 were phenomenal! The casings have a nice snap to them, the texture of the meat inside is ideal, and they are packed with flavor. It's all about personal preference in terms of which is best but I think the beef Kielbasa is a good one to try! POBLANO CREAMED CORN (9/10) - This was a newer side that I was excited to try and it's fantastic! I love the poblano flavor and the texture of the creamed corn was fantastic. It's garnished with green onions. FOUR CHEESE MAC (10/10) - I was sad when they got rid of the gouda mac because I LOVED it but I have to say... this new mac is somehow even better! The creaminess is next level! It's garnished with crispy brown butter cracker crumble (with extra on the side to add later) and green onions. SMOKED SCALLOP POTATOES (9/10) - I've always loved this side but they have somehow improved it recently... the potatoes seem slightly thinner which helps them hold on to even more flavor. TOMATO ZUCCHINI SALAD (9/10) - Refreshing side to add some veggies... simple but delicious! PICKLES, PICKLED ONIONS, BREAD & SAUCE (8/10) - The pickles & pickled onions are some of my favorite around. The bread is just a basic sliced white bread (skip it). There is a Texas red sauce and a mustard sauce... try them both! I'm just now writing a review after visiting close to 10 times but I'm happy to report that Interstellar is still worth the hype, even after gaining popularity from earning a Michelin Star. They have unique menu offerings (like the peach tea glazed pork belly), top-notch service, and keep innovating their menu by improving their classics and offering specials. I will recommend Interstellar to EVERYONE and can confirm it is worth any travel and wait!

Lazy G BBQ Company in Cedar Park is exactly what it sounds like: lazy. For a BBQ joint in Texas,…read morewhere the standard is high, this place is embarrassingly bad. Rudy's BBQ should be the baseline, yet Lazy G doesn't even reach that. I ordered the ribs and brisket, hoping for something decent, but both were far below average. The brisket was especially disappointing--you could see the congealed fat right in the slices (see pictures). Serving meat at the right temperature is BBQ 101, and their failure here made the texture and flavor a cold, greasy mess. The sides weren't any better. The cucumber salad was bland, with just a dusting of dill and no seasoning whatsoever. Adding salt and vinegar should be a no-brainer, but apparently, even the basics were too much effort here. I was excited to try the smoked mushroom side (as a mushroom lover), but it was downright unpleasant. There was zero smokiness, and the sauce tasted like a watered-down BBQ sauce, giving the button mushrooms a soggy, unappetizing texture. The BBQ sauce was another letdown--it tasted like bottled Sweet Baby Ray's. For a BBQ place, using (or at least mimicking) store-bought sauce is the ultimate red flag that they just don't care. Even at $22 for a two-meat plate, the quality doesn't justify the price. In short, Lazy G BBQ Company doesn't just fall short--it doesn't even try. If their goal was to live up to their name, they succeeded; this food is lazy, uninspired, and, frankly, not worth your time or money.

The next morning he said, "I kept telling myself I need to leave a little bit more for Lee Lee but I kept opening it back up and eating more until it was all gone!" Good thing I had my bites right when we arrived at our hotel because I was so hungry. My husband ordered sliced brisket and we lucked out and got a few of the brisket burnt ends. They weren't all "candified" like a lot of the other bbq places serve; but they were smoky and delicious. I also enjoyed the potato salad. We were excited to order the smoked mushrooms but honestly, they could have used a bit more flavor for me. You could just tap the salt shaker and it would have been fine. I appreciated the creative side dish and love how the bbq scene has doubled down on the side hustle! It was cold out so we sat on the enclosed patio that had heaters and were very comfortable. We order a couple of beers and waited for our food. The service was friendly. This was a nice dining experience.

Today, I finally got an opportunity to taste this highly rated BBQ. People...the hype is real!!! We purchased a turkey leg, sausage, brisket (what they're known for) and chicken. We also got two sides of potato salad and dirty rice. I am not a big fan of brisket. However, the owner allowed me to have a sample of the brisket. I fell quickly, madly in love with the brisket. The brisket is so flavorful, tender and moist. So, so good!!! Next, I tried the turkey leg. The meat literally fell off the bone. Yummy to the Nth degree!!! Now, let me talk about this sausage...I have never eaten sausage this good. The sausage was (yes was...we ate it all!) dense, yet moist and super tasty. This sausage did not have a spec of grease. I think I ate most of the sausage. The chicken was also super moist and tender...made you want to slap yourself. The sides were good, however, the standouts without a doubt were the meats. The owner/chef was very personable, and highlighted the preparations associated with his menu items. He created a welcoming and chill environment... I stopped in because my son was getting his haircut at the barbershop next-door. The lady that…read moregreeted me was very informative and told me all about what they had to offer. I didn't intend to buy anything, but it looked so good that I ended up buying two packages of marinated chicken. I grilled the package of chipotle chicken and it was delicious. There was so much meat. You could tell it was expertly carved out by a butcher. They have so many different options. I will definitely coming back to try the other marinades.

This is the original location, out of now 19, in a sliver-wide store near an HEB. The "heritage" of the place is reflected in its somewhat funky interior, and you have to walk all the way back along a narrow aisle to near the storeroom to start your order. But the regulars all know that. It is a comfortably decent, middle-of-the-road Texas BBQ joint that is very consistent in quality, our go-to place. I wish their sides and desserts were a little more stand-out, like Cooper's or Poke Jo's or Terry Black's. The only thing that's better than average is their creamed corn. Recently, they changed their buttered potatoes to add bacon and cheese, which helps a little. On the BBQ side, they've added pork belly burnt ends, which are among my favorite. The service is friendly, and they keep the orders moving. They do a lot of take-out business, given that there are only about six tables inside. Their sauce is what we now think of as the standard, not as peppery as, say, Rudy's and not as sweet as the Salt Lick. We have a bottle at home.
