Came here for an early lunch and it was fairly quiet. The bartender was super friendly and they have a unique cocktail menu. I would come back for dinner as the ambience was super cute. She's not just a drink slinger, she is a true bartender that provided the best service to my buddy and I, and can make a mean old fashioned! LOUD. That's the first thing you're going to think when you walk in. You'll acclimate, but damn. LOUD. Ok, that outta the way, here we go: Starting out at the bar since we're waiting on She-B to join us (and they enforce a two hour maximum time at tables on the weekend). Our bartender, Jeremy, has us set up with a pitcher of mimosas (yum!) and the last order of buffalo chicken egg rolls in the house. (Lucky!) (And we might be lucky if the app ever shows up? It's been over 20 min... and there seems to be some debate about wether there really _is_ an order of eggs rolls out there... ok, it was WORTH THE WAIT! omg, these are delicious! (And the manager is covering these b/c it took so long for them to get here.)) Eric got us settled with a second pitcher of mimosas and Sam got our food order in once our friend arrived. No timeline at the bar, so we're just gonna stay here. I'm having the breakfast tacos, hubs is going for the breakfast wrap and we're going to split a Caesar (sans fried anchovies. Ew). The breakfast tacos are SPOT ON - all the flavors are there and the fried onions on top are on point! The breakfast wrap was good and hubby finished my third taco (both were made of similar ingredients, but go for the tacos with the extra salsa, avocado, and fried onions). SheB finished off the steak salad she ordered, very happy with the size and taste. I can see why they enforce a two hour at the table limit- we could have ordered another pitcher of mimosas and kept talking and enjoying each other's conversation and company at the bar- and Sam, Jeremy, and Eric continued to keep our water glasses full the whole time we were there. We sat at the bar. This place was great and I enjoyed the atmosphere. There was good music and plenty of space at the bar and in between the seats. We first got the chicken wings. They were incredible and juicy. You could tell they were super fresh and the sauce was flavorful. I also got the chicken fried steak which was really good. It wasn't over cooked and the loaded mashed potatoes were a good touch. Our waitress was super nice and was very attentive to our needs. Anything we asked for we received within about 10 minutes and our food came out pretty quick. I had the Margarita flat bread and I'll give it a solid 5/10. My brother gave it a 6.5/10.. It came out a tad bit cold, the basil was a bit much, I've had better. I didn't have a taste of the burger, I'm not a fan of runny yolks. My brother gave it a 7/10, he said the patty itself wasn't seasoned, but the sauce and everything else was good. Met up with a few girls for brunch, we got off to an interesting start but over all, good experience. We made a reservation, as we live all over the metroplex and 2 of us over an hour away. Upon arrival we found out they had lost our reservation but we had email confirmation of it through Open Table. Luckily they accommodated us, but they tried to put us upstairs (this want ideal as we had a very pregnant friend with us). I wish I remembered our servers name, he was very sweet and the food came out in a timely manner. It was a a Saturday night and once it got to 10pm the lights turn out and the music turns up and it goes down!!! I think u can opt to go downstairs if you choose that way you can still chat with the people you're with. It would have been nice to know what happens at 10 just because we just got dessert and it was hard to see what we were eating but it worked out okay. Food was really good We got spinach dip which I didn't get a picture but it was good Chicken friends steak- delicious Brussels- they were okay Philly- good, fries great Ribs-good, fries great Dessert- good I actually got the buffalo egg roll appetizer as a meal and the egg rolls were delicious. The food was tasty, but I prefer soft and hot rolls. The service was slow but it was Thanksgiving so everyone understood. The appetizers came during the main entree and seemed like an afterthought. I wish they had the standard desserts (pumpkin or apple pie). It was a struggle to get extra whipped cream and the bread pudding was dry. The best part of the set meal was the turkey. I mean it as a compliment This place was great. I had the Cajun chicken Frites, and it was fantastic. I'm from New Orleans, so I shy away from anything that says "Cajun", because to most everyone not from New Orleans who has a restaurant, that just usually means spicy. I asked what the server recommended, and she told me the Frites. I'm glad I did it. So glad I did. I totally recommend this to anyone in a group or fewer. This is cute place. Well cool vibe. I love the aesthetic. I always love a table to hang your bags and a port to charge your phone. This was a light lunch so we ordered the Buffalo Chicken Eggrolls.. these were sooo good. The blue cheese dipping sauce (yummy). The Spinach Artichoke Dip was sooo creamy and cheesy also delicious. I recently visited the Addison location of one of my favorite spots, and I have to say, it didn't quite measure up to the Dallas location. While the day party vibes upstairs were on point, just like in Dallas, the food left a lot to be desired this time around. It's the same restaurant as the Dallas location, so I was expecting the same quality, but something went wrong. The food wasn't as great, and I'm still trying to figure out why. I'm all about enjoying the full experience--good food, good drinks, and a great atmosphere. While the party vibes on Saturday were fun upstairs, I want more than just a good drink. The food needs to match the energy. Hopefully, it was just an off day, but I'll be thinking twice before choosing Addison over Dallas next time. The only reason I am giving four stars is because the crew here dont really look happy you don't really get a smile, The bartender who helped us she was pretty plain we didn't really feel welcomed even though we were the only people at the bar. I like the concept the place looks really neat and very spacious. Everything that we had was really delicious and very well-made. The calamari was one of the best Ive ever had it was so soft inside but crunchy on the outside it was truly amazing. I'm not really a sweet eater but I know my friend loves it so we picked the cinnamon roll bread pudding which did not disappoint either! They're happy hour is really affordable, I also glanced at the regular menu seemed a little bit pricey. But if all the food is as good as the happy hour food then sign me up for it. And the Sriacha peanuts were not so traditional but added a nice crunch. Double Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza (minus the basil) - Simple, great flavor, and the crust was crisp Duck Fat Roasted Potatoes - Not crispy at all, bland, and at $8 for a side, I'd sat skip it Butterfinger Brownie a la Mode - GIGANTIC! I love the views and atmosphere here, but the food didn't match the rest of the experience, at least not the brunch menu. Brunch is nice and very lively with a DJ. My favorite items here wasthe calamari, and that alone is enough reason for me to come back. I will try coming for dinner oneday instead of for brunch to see how that food is. Came to the area for lunch with a friend. This STIRR location is located near some really good restaurants and cute shops, so it's the perfect place to spend the afternoon. I arrived first and asked for a table for two. There was only two small groups inside, but the host asked if I wanted to sit upstairs. I'm happy I did. While the entire restaurant is nice and new, I really liked the set up of upstairs. High tables and booths throughout and TVs by the bar. Restrooms are very clean which is a great sign. There's a cute backdrop for pictures at the top of the stairs too. We decided on drinks and appetizers because we weren't too excited about the lunch menu. The Yes Way Frosé and Seasonal Sangria were good, nothing to rave about. We tried the Hot Chicken before visiting another restaurant in the area for lunch. The chicken was nice and tender (I think it was dark meat), full of flavor, and contained the perfect level of heat. Definitely give it a try! If I'm ever in the area again, I probably wouldn't mind stopping by again. I've heard good things about the brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, so it wouldn't hurt to give that a try as well! read more
