How did she even carry this without spilling a drop?

This is an update to my last review. This visit was not so good. I reserved through the restaurant's own reservation system on their website (RESY.COM). At the time of reserving they asked the standard questions such as name, phone number, number of people, date and time. They also asked what type of table I wanted to reserve. The choices were a "standard regular table" or a "high top table". Because of mobility issues I have, I specifically reserved "standard table". Well, that was a waste of my time and energy. We arrived a few minutes before our reserved time and were immediately escorted to a "High Top Table" which I cannot sit at. I told them that "I specifically reserved a Standard Table for a reason". I was told that they only have High Tops available because all the open standard tables were reserved. I said that I reserved a standard table and was told they had no proof I did that. We were led to an out of the way table that had an obstrudted view of the entertainment. Just wrong on all accounts and it ruined my wifes birthday celebration. If their problem was with their reservation system then they should dump it. The only reason I am giving 2 Stars is for the food. However, service was really bad. Dirty dishes just kept pileing up on our table and forget about them offering water glass refills, didn't happen. It was like we were at a table that no one cared about servicing.

Came for brunch. Atmosphere is good. Service was ok. Ordered the hot chicken and waffles. It was good, once it came. No exaggerating it was at least 45 minutes between ordering and the food coming. My wife's omelette was missing the sour cream and dill. The two tables I could see from where I was sitting also had long waits to get the food. Wait staff was fairly attentive (although the waitress for the table behind us checked on them more often than our waitress checked on us) so I think the delay was purely a kitchen problem. They had a few full tables but weren't packed so the delays weren't understandable.

I was here for a colon cancer fundraiser. There are bottle pulls and gift card envelopes, plus a few items for sale, like buffalo ornaments, in various sizes. There is a small buffet with Caprese sticks, large pretzel sticks with a mustard dipping sauce, stuffed mushrooms and large veggie egg rolls, cut in half. The drinks are at happy hour prices.

All of the food was very good. The wings,Polish Platter and the Monte Cristo were served hot. Unfortunately, the fries were served lukewarm. The Monte Cristo was the best I ever had. The loganberry wings were very large and had a great flavor. My wife loved her platter . Our server was terrific Nice interior. They had two guitars players as entertainment and as usual were way to loud.

Went here one night during the week to watch a basketball game at the bar. Was blown away by how nice this restaurant is. I sat at the bar and ordered some hot buffalo wings. Cody was courteous, friendly and took my order immediately. As a resident of Buffalo I have eaten wings all over the city and these are by far the best I have tasted. Cooked to perfection. I checked the menu and was impressed with the fine dining options as well. Pricing was very reasonable. Bonus, they have a bakery attached and the desserts are out of this world. I had cake pops and macaroons. This is definitely a restaurant I will frequent. Oh, and like most my reviews the bathrooms were immaculately clean.

Food was delicious! They were out of gluten free rolls but i did it anyway ! Steak was perfect, took the hot peppers off felt like it ruined the taste ! We also ordered the polish sampler which was very good ! Service was also good once we finally got waited on . It was a Saturday night and a band was playing next door so it was busy but not loud !

Really enjoyed going for brunch. Making reservations was very easy through their website (takes you to a 3rd party to complete) but no issues when we arrived. The waitress quickly came over and took drink orders for us while we waited for others to arrive. She also answered a lot of questions we had on the menu since it was our first time there. We ordered a bunch of things and shared because there were so many good things on the menu. My favorite was the pierogi breakfast bowl, the pierogi were very good but I wish they would put more egg on it. We substituted polish sausage for the chorizo and that was a great decision because it was so good! The breakfast pizza was nothing special and was very small for the price. The golabki egg rolls were strange to me especially with the Thai dipping sauce.so I would not recommend those. Everyone else enjoyed everything they ordered so there is something for everyone and you should try it out!

They do a lot of promos for their desserts (part of Chrusciki Bakery) - e.g. Name of the Day, BOGO if you voted on election day, etc.

Modern Polish food with an American twist, need I say more? The dining space is beautiful and I love that you can walk over to the Chrusciki Bakery area and drool over their desserts while you wait for your meal. (Of course I had to buy something to take home and they were so kind to keep it refrigerated until we were done eating). I could not say "no" to the potato pancake burger. I'm a big fan of a soft, slightly sweet burger bun; however, a "bun" made with crispy, perfectly salted potato pancakes is pretty much unbeatable. The rich taste of the caramelized onions and creamy cheese took the burger to the next level. Everyone enjoyed their meals. And bonus, on Tuesdays, kids eat free with purchase of adult meal. Service was a bit slow, so I'm glad we had the dessert case and the hallway walk to the bathroom to distract us. Overall, I hope to come back to try more of their dishes. They know how to make a good meal!

Lovely setting with a beautiful mural of Mariacka St. in Gdańsk, Poland. We need nine more Yelpers to reserve this table:).

In Polish "sto lat" means "one hundred years". The song "Sto lat" is sung on various occasions, especially for birthdays. "Sto lat" and "na zdrowie" (to health) are equivalent to 'cheers' in the US. I finally decided to try the Sto Lat Bar on the occasion of a fundraising event taking place at their banquet facility. The two bars were busy, plus free samples of tequila, brandy and whiskey were flying around. It was also an evening with live music in the dining area, so maybe that's why the kitchen couldn't stand the strain. The 'Gołąbki Egg Rolls' were edible. Unfortunately, someone went wild with the amount of black pepper. My friend started coughing because it was so overwhelming. We tasted only the black pepper. It was served with some kind of sweet chili sauce which completely didn't match or compliment the food. The 'Bigos Over Mashed Potatoes', was the worst bigos (hunter's stew) I've ever tried. It had a 'flat' taste and was too sour with way too much tomato product. With the overly buttery, super soft mashed potatoes, it was just unpleasant mush. I'm not a Simply Pierogi brand fan either. The 'Taste of Poland' section on the menu should have been called 'Teasing People Who Think They'll Taste Traditional Polish Dishes'. "The Schnitz" was salty and overdone. Also, the sandwich did not match the description on the menu. It was served with some yellow cheese instead of mozzarella and with no sign of blue cheese. I got the impression that this evening was not the best for trying Sto Lat Bar for the first time. We skipped the dessert, just not to make our experience even more disappointing. Our server didn't introduce us to any specials, and her patience with us ran out pretty quickly. Anyway, I would try Sto Lat Bar again with a totally different approach. It's a beautiful, clean restaurant, and I liked the fact they have Żywiec on tap. The live music was good, and luckily our table was far away from the stage. We had lots of fun. The Polish Mules were the best, but the food we tried could have been much, much better. Cheers! Sto lat! Na zdrowie!:)

Finally got around to eating here and I am sorry I waited so long! After a long shift working in the cold elements, I really enjoyed this environment. Staff was courteous and professional. It was dark out, and the lighting was perfectly dim for that relaxed, cozy feel. There were only high top tables available at the time, which usually I find incredibly uncomfortable, but not here! Their chairs were perfectly comfortable and I was able to relax in it. The menu has good mix of polish and American cuisine and I would say anyone could find something they like (I personally could eat pretty much anything on the menu!) My friend ordered the Golabki Eggrolls, which are are cut into 4 generous portions to make them shareable. I had a piece and reallllyyy enjoyed it with the accompanying sweet chili sauce! I personally ordered the fish fry (available everyday it's open, not just Fridays) and you can choose housecut fries or mac and cheese; I chose the latter. It also comes with coleslaw but unless slaw is on pulled pork sandwich or something along those lines, I don't eat it so I can't speak to that as I asked for it not to be served to me (I don't like food waste). The mac was like a cellentani or cavatappi .. it was prepared how I like it - not dry per se, but I hate a soupy macaroni and cheese. This was not the soupy type - yay! The fish was good as well. For portions, let's just say I came in starving, but still came home with left overs. I look forward to coming in again and trying another dish! Oh, there is also a lovely bar with plenty of space to sit and a few big screen flatscreens so you can watch the game!

I've been looking to try this place for quite some time and finally got the chance for brunch! I ordered the Polska benny and it was so so good! The sausage was amazing and the potatoes and sauce were excellent too! Service was on the slower side but they were pretty busy and apparently understaffed. The whole place was very pretty and bright inside with nice decorations and set up. The bakery inside was great as well selling lots of breads and other goodies! I got the carrot cake and ate it too fast to take a picture hah

After Hours and truffle Parmesan fries
    Aly W.

Beautiful space with high ceilings, a few tables and plenty of seats at the bar. I had a big breakfast earlier in the day, but I indulged in truffle parmesan fries with my After Hours, a light bourbon based cocktail with cointreau, prosecco, lime, and honey. The fries were excellent. Sometimes truffle fries can be a bit much, but they didn't overdo it, and the dill sauce brightened the dish. The bartender even asked if I wanted more sauce when I was boxing up my leftovers. Usually I have to ask. Service is excellent. I'll be back to try more food and drinks.

We sat down at our table. The owner came by said hello thanks for coming. That was nice. We told him it was our anniversary. He bought us a bottle of champagne, nice gesture thank you. After that, the waitress came up took our order. We ordered a bottle of wine. We ordered our entrées. She was very nice but new. She didn't know what the dinners came with, but that's all right. She's new. She brought out the bread. i'm not mistaken. It was a Constanzo sub roll heat it up. It's good, but really? she brought out our salads but only one because my entrée didn't get a salad, but she didn't know and I was under the impression all entrées get a salad so we started to eat and noticed we didn't have any napkins so I looked around. Nobody had napkins then looked outside. Everybody had cloth napkins on the table. She came back and gave us paper napkins, $48 entrée and we got paper napkins. She brought out her entrées. My wife's Seabass was actually good, but the side of carrot sticks were raw and the mashed potatoes was out of a box. The potatoes were larger than the entrée. My chicken Parm was deep-fried and well done as you can see in the picture. The sauce on the chicken parm was horrible. The penne pasta was cooked right but had that chunky sauce on it. We read all the reviews and they were not good. But we thought we'd give it a try anyways the owner said they've been open for six weeks and that's plenty of time to work out the bugs but unfortunately, we will never be going back. Please note that this review is for current owners not the previous owners. Not the same restaurant.

It was very good! Can't wait come back and try lunch and dinner. But this review on brunch. Of course started with a Guava Bellini, yum! Warm onion bread with salted butter brought to the table immediately. My companion's pork Milanese was a generous cut topped with arugula and dandelion greens, vinaigrette and grated cheese, all served in a delicately flavored vodka sauce. My brown buttered scallops were served in a butternut squash purée with hazelnuts, a touch of Sherry and topped with pickled apple. Lovely. We chose for a side, the crispy brussels sprouts which were sprinkled with grated hazelnuts, served with smoky bacon chunks and drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Perfection. Their selection of wine, beer, and other drinks is small, but well thought out. My companion had a creation called "Common Exponential" which was decidedly orange flavored with cinnamon and cloves. She loved it. For dessert we shared a generous slice of a magnificent lemon - almond cake with poached pears and good coffee, mine with real cream. I was impressed by the quality of the table setting. The La Tavola flatware is beautifully weighted and unmistakably upscale, while the Robert Gordon stoneware has a handsome, handcrafted look that feels both modern and sophisticated. These are small details, perhaps, but they contribute enormously to the sense that Grezi has put real thought into the entire dining experience. The candlelight and single red flower in a bud vase added to the intimacy of the evening. And the service was spectacular. Cynthia and her colleagues made sure that everything was perfect. They came by often enough to make certain we didn't need anything, but not so often as to become annoying. Cynthia was warm and friendly and I can say that all of the staff who came to our table truly seemed to enjoy what they were doing, and that matters to diners who seek a complete culinary experience. We intend to return as often as it takes to sample everything that this exciting Restaurant has to offer.

We had a nice little room toward the back that gave us some privacy, and the media/audio worked seamlessly, which, when you're trying to do a presentation over dinner, is basically a miracle. Our server was attentive and took great care of us all night. My gripes? The $4 bread service fee. We ordered plenty of appetizers and absolutely did not need the bread. And $16 for a house or Caesar salad? Definitely overpriced. My salad consisted of grape tomatoes, shredded carrots, a few chickpeas and some shredded Parmesan. For $16, I expected a whole lot more, it was nowhere near worth the price. Now, onto the good... There were so many pizzas that sounded good that making a decision was harder than it needed to be. We decided on the Michael as a group. Those caramelized onions brought SO much flavor. We also tried the prosciutto and melon special, which was a huge hit with one of our gluten-free guests. The zucchini fries were perfectly crispy, and the dipping sauce had just the right little kick. I could have kept eating those. Then came the filet mignon, which my partner and I basically inhaled. It came with roasted crispy red potatoes and a mix of green and red peppers, and everything was seasoned really well. One of the guests said the duck breast was absolutely delicious. I couldn't find the dessert menu online beforehand, which was a little disappointing because I like to mentally prepare for dessert. I ended up going with the brookie because cookies + brownies = obviously the correct answer. I skipped the chocolate and caramel sauces and swapped vanilla ice cream with pistachio gelato. Yum!! I also grabbed my daughter the seasonal cheesecake with the mixed berry topping, and she inhaled it when I got home. Overall, this was a fantastic spot for a work dinner. Great food, attentive service, a comfortable private space, and the presentation went off without a hitch. Aside from my $4 bread fee and overpriced salads, I have very little to complain about.
